Yeah, thorpedo is right! The Formation Strategies page always shows the default formation, so if you want to change your other formation strategies now, you have to set these formations as default to access their strategies…

I like your new formation screen but i think there’s a bug in it.
I can change to other formations e.g. “cup” than my default squad for the formation but if I want to take the ‘strategie page’ for this cup formation it doesn’t work. It always gives my default strategie, also when I choose the “cup” one in the selection screen.
Or do I something wrong….

It is now possible to choose your default formation. I’ve started a design change on our formation screen – the main objective was to open some space to the new stuff that will arrive. The incomplete version is online so you guys can suggest changes or just tell us your opinion.

Hard to tell Jota. The only reasons I can think for this change are:

1) The one you already mentioned, the player was automatically replaced cause he was unavailable (we have no way to check red carded players after the match has happened, but if you say he was not red carded we believe you :) )
2) You have another 352 formation that was setup instead of your default one (I see that your only 352 formation at the moment is your youth formation and the players in it are not the same you pasted here)
3) A very rare bug :(

I hope it is not option 3, but please let us know if strange replacements like this one happen again.

Hi, just one doubt:

I have seen the below match report, that as the report shows the formation of Totteham is 3-5-2, in the formation that keeps saved is 3-4-3 and the player Guido Martinez de Aguirre is not on it and instead the attacker L. Monte; I have check if he was injured, or red card or something, but this is not the case..
I know that if the player is injured or had red card then it is replaced automatically but as I said I cannot see any of the issues.. Just to know the reason of this change just a question, not important issue..

I must agree with you Javier, we have to decrease the number of shots on goal and make it easier to score. We’ll work on the match engine after our critical fixes/enhancements pack announced recently.

We had to get rid of all our existent match replays. All new match replays will stay on the server for one week. The reason for both statements is lack of disk space.

i had the best team in spanish league…Salamanca…i got all my players in free transfer , i got to first division and the title was always mine… i got really upset when it ended because i had a really good team :)

I also think you must be patient. I think your biggest problem is that you don’t score so may goals. But that’s a trend in the whole game. Less goals than before. I have the luxury of 3 top strikers.
But the competition in Italy is very close so with a few wins your back in the european league places.

You are right, Jota, when you said that it’s quite unreal to receive only 4 goals in 40 matches… But this is my strategy at this moment. I have the best goalkeaper of this game (fast ticker), so that I’ve improved my defense to avoid the oportunities of the opponent team and I use counter attacks when I can…
So that, have a look to some of my matches and you’ll see that I receive only a few goals because the other teams created very few opportunities…

This is the reason because if you have a good goalkeeper, you can use him as the key player of a good team and you’ll finish in the first places of the league.

To make sure you have Java installed open your Internet Explorer, click in the Tools menu → Internet Options → Advanced tab and look for Java in the list of settings. If you find it, make sure its checkbox is checked. If you don’t find it you can download it here . Look for Java Runtime Environment.

Apologies accepted. Individual Strategies are already being planned and will be part of the game very soon. In fact, individual strategies sounds like an interesting name, we were thinking how would we call this screen :-)

With this new feature you’ll be able to give players individual orders when your team has the ball and when the other team has it. Orders will be things like go forward, mark your zone, go back, play your position and so on. This can make a big difference during the matches.

i know i already said bad things about the game and i’m sorry…i know it is difficult to manage this game and specially with low finances, but at the time i was really upset.

i just wanted to leave a suggestion to improve the game…

i think it would be nice if there was “Individual Strategies”.
this would make us give personal stratagies to all players and play differently.
for example, play with a offensive strategy, but say to the defenders to stay back..something like this…
and thats all…

Last season i end up the italian league in third, but i should have ended in second..but it isn’t because of this that i’m here.

this season i just have draws…i dont know why because i have better team.
i’m in 15th and if it continues like this i’m gonna be despromoted.

At first i though it was from the strategy, so i made one…and then other…and then took it off…and still tha same results.
So i made other tactics, and then more tactics …and nothing…
Some matches against weeker teams…i deserved to draw and loose…but just some times.
just for example of this unfair results i would like you to see the next matches bellow:

How do you get the match replay to work? When i click on the link to view the match all i get is a big grey box.

ex-managersim for a couple of years. Won an FA cup in fulltest (I think…) with Wolves… from 1st division yet! Did get them up into the premier, and competitive… but tough to crack the top teams there.

Was Amiens in… Eurotest?… finally developed some really good keepers in that game… figured it out towards the end there. Maybe just because the better managers were leaving.

Joined here early… and left. Wasn’t loving this game initially. Came back after a while… and MUCH better now. And continuing to improve.

FWIW I really like fast ticker… but having problems developing the love for medium tick.

we are planning a big package__ of what we consider CRITICAL improvements that we want to implement in the shortest amount of time possible (the lines in red). The match logic is not there because some of them will deeply affect it. If you guys have any other suggestions that you consider critical, please let us know.

There were some players with wrong information about where they were in the evolution path, so I had to make an update to their information. What seems to have happened is that some players stopped evolving sooner than they should even though they were still gaining experience. With my update your player may have evolved to the last stage at once, reaching his maximum potential. From now on I expect the evolution logic to be back to normal, but I’ll keep my eyes opened to fix anything strange before we reach this situation again.
