For now you can only buy players that are on transfer list. Before we implement the possibility to make a buy proposal for one player that is not in the transfer list, we want to make sure we improve our economy. Also, we dont want to implement this in a hurry, as we dont want dumb AI selling players that it shouldnt sell.

yep, the big problem we are facing here is the beginning. the only quick solution would be a reset. but this discussion is an excellent help for us to fix the unfair situation.
one thing that we are planning to implement real soon is a deeper Board and the natural consequences of that.

Implemented an initial screen for managers ranking. Will still add some info / improve that screen. Please note that this rank is not meaningful before the league starts (friendlies do not count for ranking). The icon is temporary.
Artur, sorry for the short answer but it is late here. Here´s what i think (i will try to order the facts logically):
1) we have a limited amount of time to work in the game;
2) there is a HUGE development queue organized by what we think is more important or what we feel that would be fun to implement;
3) we don´t agree that to have localized league rank rules is a huge priority comparing to the rest, nor we thought that this would give us a “coding good time”;
4) we told everybody how the league rank rules would be from the start, and thats what matters in a competition: know, play and win by the rules. I don´t think the English rules are better than the Brazilian – they are just different.
We really appreciate and respect your help and feedback. As a result, we will reconsider our priority queue and I hope we can get localized league rank implemented in time for the next season end.
And about motivation, well… Lemme try to mention some of the most important motivation facts, in my opinion:
- the game is 6 months old and already has a LOT of functionalities, despite our lack of free time
- we are very available and open to user feedback. Which means that you are an important part of the process
- in my opinion this is a good and free place to spend some time, have fun and interact with a nice community
- surprise factor. who knows what new stuff can be available next time you login? :D

it is not a bug. this is the brazilian criteria, which is applied to all countries. the other team has more wins. we have an enhancement on the queue to customize the criteria (use the correct local criteria) for all countries. sorry for that.

agreed. But we have antecipated that market balance would take some time to be achieved. a lot of rules and adjustments need to be implemented for this to happen. keep coming with suggestions/feedback. we will keep doing our best to make this important balance a reality as soon as possible.

no, they doesnt for different zones. an attacker would have the same attributes if playing in the middle of the field, for example.

Well, have you never played a game where you felt bad about your stats? My father-in-law loves to erase his solitaire (windows) stats. With manager rankings there is no need to do that, because you can “easily” go to the top or the bottom of the ranking.
Moreover, we already have almost all of the stats you mentioned, for a manager/team. It is only a matter of building a screen to do the sum job for the manager (i see no problem in doing that). Will discuss our options with Gabriel and expose them here to check more opinions.
For the manager stats, I think I have an idea for something that we dont have already. Lets hear your opinion on that. What if we had formation stats? This way you would be able to have an indicator of how successful are each of your formations/tactics. Dont know yet if this is a good idea, but we can all think about it together.
I guess that what I am trying to say is that I would like to know how everybody fells about this matter. What stats/screens do you guys fell that would be nice to have/change the way we present? Lets use our potential as a free game. :)
As for the players stats, I totally agree with you both. The more stats we can have, better. We already have a lot in queue to implement, but keep the ideas coming!

I prefer to only show manager ranking. If we had that granularity of stats for managers, we would have people wanting to re-signup to try to “clear” their stats. I hate games where perfectionists have to do that.
With the ranking idea, if you lose a lot of games you can still be the number one in future by having a great season. But that is just me, and as always I an open to other options / opinions.

how many seasons/years would you expect for a real player to take to develop his potential? we thought about a reasonable answer and tried to implement that. but of course that one season is not quite enough to reach the max :). we may tune this a little bit, but you already gave a good idea of what happens with the evolution: faster in the beginning and slower after that. also, in a near future we will have ways, outside the match (trainings), to improve your players – I am sure this will add more fun to this process.
but think about it: if your players develop too fast, they would also stop developing fast. that would take the fun away too. also, it is nice if they always have something to improve, even if it takes much longer than in the beginning.
last but not least, the latent potential of a player can really surprise a manager. the chance of a huge evolution decreases with the size of the evolution but, like in the real world, a huge evolution is rare but perfectly possible.

hmm, it seems the manager have defined rules to perform those. there is nothing wrong with the substitutions that happened , if those were really what the manager have defined as strategy. nothing stops you from putting a guy in the field and taking him out 1 minute later :)

as for the side issue, it is polemic. but no matter what random solution we use, some of you will still be unlucky. that sucks.
But I have an idea, will discuss with Gabriel. But what would you guys think if we just let you all choose your team side distribution? the idea is to develop a temp screen and give the manager the ability to choose whatever he wants for his players sides. This screen would be available for enough time for holiday managers to come back before being fired (so they cant say they did not have time to edit their team)
This way, old managers cant complain and new managers cant either, since they will choose whatever team they want. lets see if this is a feasible idea.
