I also hate very complex games, Rodrigo. The idea here is to have all ideas done in a simple way, so we can have a simple but fairly complete game. We really liked ManagerSim, so our plan is to have the good ideas they had there and improve whatever we can.
Agreed. We need to first finish our critical package, but we know there is a lot to do in the match. But even with the current logic, only one defender is not a good deal – you lose important tackle chances.
I’ve never seem a topic working like that… I wonder if that wouldn’t confuse the users. What we could try to do is add a personal setting which would invert that order if you have it selected. Let’s see…

Player history now records when players left or join a club. Maybe in future we will also record loans, but for now all the player history functionalities that were initially designed are done.
That makes complete sense :). If you find out how to do it, please share with the rest of the guys here. We cannot be of much help as we don’t have those nice small devices.

Among other ideas, we are thinking about a limit of team depreciation. In other words, the board would expect that you maintain a certain level of team quality – and avoid the sell of good players if you have reached the minimum level. But we still have to think about it all.

Will it be possible to have ,ore than 6 youth players at 1 team ?
Do teams in countries with smaller divisions (Portugal, 16 teams) have more chances to get a star player than teams in large divisions ?
I think if you add more countries (if there are 20+), it will be essencial to change youth’s skills to higher difference.
I don’t think this functionality will be out there that fast. But everybody should start thinking about the ages of the team players right now. You guys don’t have to go crazy and get rid of all your old guys, just include the age worry in your management duties and you won’t have any problems.

I would like to know what you guys would like to see covered in our new player history screen. Notice that we only have been storing data regarding the transfers lately, so the available info is very limited for now.

Our previous player history is now called player statistics. Player history now refers to information regarding transfers involving that player. For now we only cover transfers made from team to team and from free transfers to team. I will add code to cover the player birth later this week.

The answer is possibly. The more games you manage to involve your player, the more experience he will gain. After a while, you will notice that some attributes will “go blue” on your player list. Those have evolved since the last tick. The amount evolved is not a fix number, and all players have their potential when born. Of course that it is easier to evolve in the beginning of the career and, in a near future, we will implement the consequences of aging.

It is now possible to choose your default formation. I’ve started a design change on our formation screen – the main objective was to open some space to the new stuff that will arrive. The incomplete version is online so you guys can suggest changes or just tell us your opinion.
