on the 1st dimension, italian league, half of the players are friends of my work, and i just can’t buy or sell players from them. how can we solve this problem?
maybe could be create a safe list, where each person shoud say who plays with the same IP and each situation, i dont know, that was just a suggestion

Too bad I couldn´t really challenge you. Never had my tactics working during the season. Had to settle for the third place. (I don´t think Atalanta will lose their last match and we might have trouble against Palermo at their home ground so I probably won´t get the silver)

I’m not sure we can do that at the MAC address level, we’ll investigate. I agree with you that we have a lot of people playing under the same IP (we also have some co-workers with whom we cannot trade) but unfortunately this restriction is necessary to make cheaters life a little bit harder. And again, we’ll improve that if possible :-)

Hi, i’m having a problem in the game due to the ip address, i play ruby soccer at home and at my job too, so, the problem is that i have a lot of friends of my work that play ruby soccer too, and when we want to sell/buy players from them we just can’t do it, because we have the same IP…
i’ve tried to buy my friend player at home and i have the same problem.
If i may say some suggestion about that, the limitation could be done at the level of IP and MAC adress, it would be much better, because there must be a lot of people playing from the same ip, such as same work place, college, school…
manager ranking and man of the match are definitely on our list. but to win a competition is already a very good money incentive. That money come from the tickets, sponsors, etc.
as for the manager history, the structure is almost ready, we only dont have a screen to show it yet.
very soon we will have all that and the international competitions, in a package that i think will add a good tilt for you guys :).

It would be nice to have man of the match, best manager – in results and maybe some math to choose the best according to their players value and results.
This kind of aspects are nice in order to spice up the competition.
Some money incentives when winning competitions or passing rounds in competitions.
Something nice would also have a personal manager history, like championship games won and lost, cup results, all time results…
this is the kind of info i would like to see about my performance in the game without having to look and make my own grid.
Something like a Manager ranking :)

Just to give everybody an update on international cups status. I’ve already implemented a country ranking that will be used to determine how many spots a country will have for each international competition. That is not very realistic for South America because here we have a fixed number of spots per country, but as we plan to have dynamic country skills I decided to balance the number of spots and use a ranking as UEFA has. For those who are not familiar, these rankings will be updated based on the country performance on international competitions in the last 5 seasons.
We’ll have 4 international competitions to start: Champions League, UEFA Cup, Libertadores da America and Copa Sudamericana. As we have only a few countries, all the competitions start in the knockout round. In the league table screen for first divisions you’ll be able to see to which competition the first positions teams will qualify.
What is next? Create the matches for the competitions and update rankings at the end of the season.

I´d like to have the minimum (time to buy a player after the first bid) of two ticks for 3-ticker and maybe 4 ticks for a 6-ticker.
I hate it when I am the first to find a good, cheap player and then, after three or four or whatever ticks there are at least 50 other teams bidding on the player.
Unfortunately, that’s the current behaviour, the game picks the “best” players available, no matter which position they play. In the future, we’ll consider the positions you’ve setup on your formation in order to complete the missing players with other from the same position.

Maybe I loose another game because of this behaviour. For me it is impossible to see my team every tick.
Why can rubysoccer rearrange the team players using the same formation?

Ok. They have 11 players but 2 of them are GK. Maybe that’s the problem.
That’s strange, even though Torino has 11 players, I’ve just seen a match report where there were only 10 lined up, that is not supposed to happen. I’ll fire the manager anyway, he’s been absent since mid october.
How many players must be in the line-up at the beginning of a match because I see that Torino for example has only 10 players in the line-up and can play the match without a W.O. report. I just noticed it.
Sorry about all the mess with Napoli Commanche but I have a job in sales so I’ve been away in and out of the office for the past several weeks. This hasn’t left me much time to take care of the team…
I am quite sure. I did saw my formation minutes before the game and I do not have a 4-3-3 formation configured. If it happen again I’ll post again.

Are you sure there is no defender placed on M – 1 instead of D +1 for instance? That would make a 3-4-3 instead of a 4-3-3 :-)

Hi, I am on Newcastle on dimension 2. After playing this game http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/31216 I checked that the formation that was reported was 4-3-3. This is wrong… I used 3-4-3… and I checked before and there was no player unavailable.

yep, dont worry. this will probably go away soon, with a few new versions that are coming out.
I’m sorry I just saw there already is a topic about an incomplete match report. But I ’ve already reported it.
I think there is a bug in my match report for Vicenza – Cagliari. (beta 1-Italy)) The result is 0-3 but in the match report there are only 2 goals scored. The last sentence is “the referee shows”. Maybe the match report is not complete. It’s not so important for me who scored the goal but maybe you can take a look at it.

right, that would be a plus – but the transfer listed price shall change automatically with the acceptance of a lower bid.

the minimum time a player is on th TL should be 3 ticks (starting from the first bid) or even more

what about the highest bid? if someone likes to pay more to negotiate alone? therefore a “drop bidder” option for the seller must be implemented.
I think to make initially generated players better to create a more vibrant transfer market. At the moment I’m trying to find a good defender to improve my team – it’s very difficult to find any choice of good players.
