Hi guys, I got a question about Libertadores.
At the moment we see 5 places to Libertadores in Brazil and Argentina. Probably the champions of National Cup in those countries will make their place to Libertadores too.
At this scenario we have 12 teams in Libertadores. This competition will start already in the cup stage, as you said in other topic? The problem is the number of team to make through eliminatory stage: 12 teams > 6 teams > 3 teams! That will we will not have a fair semi-final.
My sugestion would be a pre-qualification stage with 10 (or 12) teams with the top 4 going to the semi-final.
Well, what are your plans about this competition?

I would have been much happier if it was reset and I kept my club but all my players had gone etc. Rather than lose everything.
I hope it can work in the future.
If we ever do that again we’ll consider the ideia of preserving managers in their clubs, even though the players and divisions won’t be preserved probably.

For now that is the only way to be automatically fired, but as soon as we implement the board you’ll have some goals in the season, if you don’t accomplish them, you may be fired.
I guess that means im stuck with Barcelona, :P

Thanks for explanations, I was really fearing that cheats could be happening. If you said that theres no reason to doubt it. Maybe its because I try hard to improve my team “Ipatinga” in second divisions but can not beat him. And if Dereck won by your own merit and not cheating (your consciense), my sincereless excuses.

That´s right… and I am really sad too because I lost Palmeiras with any previous notice… That hurts, man! T__T
Seriously now, we all were expecting that happen, but we lost the very end of Beta 2 server. It was a pitty. I think the server could be reseted preserving managers in their clubs.

If yes will we lose our teams again?
I managed to scoop the Barcelona job so you can understand im very very happy. I got very attached to my team Internacional on beta 1 and even used an internet cafe while on holiday a few weeks back to check on my team, I was very upset when I logged in today to find it had all been deleted, but I did know it would come eventually on the Beta games.
If you guys know the new games will be reset and we will lose our jobs can you maybe put something in place that lets us keep the teams we are managing? I have asked this question before I think.

About the job applications, there are no advantages on being the first to apply for a team. When the tick happens, all the applications will be equally considered – and that means random wins. Any lost applications are bad luck – and nothing else – reasoned.
The same goes for matches. The match is simulated, and large results usually have very good reasons. I dont think Dereck have won all his games with this kind of score board (i can check on our database backup later). We dont know Dereck and, even if we knew, we dont (and wont) favor anybody. If we developers were involved in such an absurd, the main purpose of this game would be lost – which is to have nice and clean fun.
Other than that, our company boss is also playing it, so he would be the most favored guy for sure :D .
To conclude, we really enjoy feedback. But be careful when reporting things, as I dont think anybody here likes to be called a “cheater” (Derek is included on that group). If he had such a sequence of unbelievable victories (and here is another point, usually when we accuse somebody of something we have to be very careful gathering enough data to support our ideas), it was his merit – or maybe some bug that we are not aware about yet.

ps: i would like to remember you guys that the match simulation will, for sure, have a lot of improvements. we know that this is very important, but we also decided to not abandon the rest of the game, as the match simulation has already many very nice results and is not “THAT” bad.
Toni, you are allowed to have teams in both dimensions, though you gave a perfect description: if we have room problems, we will ask the managers to resign from one of their teams.

For those who have taken a team in the first MediumTicker tick we’d like to announce that all players (except the 16 years old ones) have alredy advanced one level due to some wrong data we had. Because of that the next level up for those players will take a little longer. That won’t happen o FastTicker.

I woul’d like to claim for the same reason. Recently I’ve asked some explanation for Gabriel Cesario about what was happening in Second Division of Brasilian game. The manager called Dereck Schilte NEVER lost a game in the league, and only winning by 50×0, 32 × 1 etc.. But the biggest imposture that I think is the same Dereck take Palmeiras team from Brazil, even if Lobba was the first one to aply for a manager job. It happens the same with me, when I was aplying first International team and Hilton Bertelli take it. Would it be a friend game envolving the developers and this favored guys? Please developers, would you explain how can it hapen?
Well, I´d like to know what is the criteria to select the managers for the teams. Yesterday I was the first one to apply a job in Palmeiras (MediumTicker)and I was rejected. A friend of mine was the very first applying a job in Internacional and got rejected too.
Can you guys explain us the criteria you use for this as we are in reseted gameworlds and managers have no historic yet?
