Team history is being improved as I type. Me and Danilo have just discussed league names and we’ve decided to keep it as it is for now. Not because it is difficult to implement, but because we have other priorities. I’ll open an enhancement request on our system so we don’t forget to do that in the future.

Gabriel, its fantastic we have team history now, but would it be possible to have something like this:
“Ends second in division one – season xxxxx"
“Wins the cup – season xxxx”
“Wins division one – season xxxx”
“Wins division two, promoted to division one – season xxxx”
“Ends third in division two, promoted to division one – season xxxx”
dont know, just a thought to make it more “professional”
other thing, would it be possible to have instead of division one the names of the leagues? Like serie A, serie B, premier league, brasileirão, etc? It would be nice :D

Yes, that is one of the improvements I am planning to do. But there will be more :).
National Cup final played on one match, 100.000 seats stadium, neutral ground. If the match ends in a tie penalty shootout decides the champion.
I think I know what happened, it is related to a temporary fix to the extra youths problem we had. Will probably fix it today.
I agree, we’ll have something like
“Ends Division 2 in position 1. Promoted to Division 1”
“Ends Division 1 in position 16.”
“Ends Division 1 in position 18. Relegated to Division 2”

wait with a new dimension till international cups are implemented. then the new countries would be a real added value.
“team event history”: the league should be an additional info there. league 1, league 2, etc. … and promotion, relegation. just a thought

a draft of team event history is implemented. I am not satisfied, but it is better than nothing.
that is something we need to discuss. maybe we can enable this possibility, but the friendly would have to be withdrawn a number of ticks before the match. that way the other manager would be able to react to this change of plan.

It isn’t possible to cancel friendlies?
I spent almost a week without entering the game and well a lot of my players are on low stamina. So I’d like to cancel some friendlies so I’d able to make a rotation on the players going on the field. With the friendlies I’m going to play, it’s not possible.
Well, we are already thinking about next gameworlds. Both Beta 1 and Beta 2 will be deleted soon, probably at the end of the season for one of them, unless I can’t get Champions League and Libertors Cup working until there. Me and Danilo will discuss the details of the 2 new dimensions, but my ideia is to have one 6-ticker and one 3-ticker with the same countries on both, so one can choose the dimension that best fits his/her routine (or play on both like I’m gonna do). About new countries we may add Argentina, Germany, France and Portugal.
No ideia about stadium sizes. I don’t think we’ll have stadium expansion implemented from the beginning, but let’s see. Countries may start all the same or with slight differences between then, not the significant difference we currently have between Brazil and England. Dynamic country skill will also not be there from start, but will soon be implemented as we’ll have country rankings and international cups.
The hardest question to answer is whether or not those dimensions are going to be deleted. If I had to give an answer now it’d be yes, they will be deleted or reset, but that will take longer than this first time. Who knows, we may figure out a good way of add countries, competitions and significant improvements to an existing dimension without having to reset it. But reset will be a good thing if the dimensions become too unbalanced.

I just signed 3 players and the contract were all accepted but the system only spawned 2 players so I’m left with a total of 4 when I should in fact have 6.

When we have a more complex tactics screen our job will become easier in the match engine and the managers ability to configure a good strategy will have more influence in the match results.
Wait a while with more possibilities please. I have just found the right tactics after 2 seasons of searching. :-) Then I can search again. :s

When you have pending negotiations the menu icon blinks (and the title changes). We dont have a good different icon to use there, so for now the icon will be the same.
i will talk a couple things about the shooting distance. if you configure this to long, your team will tend to risk more shots even if the goal is not that near. of course that more distance implies in more difficulty to score.
Depending on your tactic, if you encourage your team to risk long shots they may waste good chances to pass the ball and create better goal situations. it is the famous “rivaldo” effect. :)
On the other hand, if you configure this to short and your players suck at passing, you may never shoot at all!
Phew, can you imagine the possibilities that we will have when we extend the tactics screen ? :D

But maybe they could gain some new ideas when thinkin this over again before renewing the game engine.
And if someone of us has something great in mind, now would be a good chance to start a conversation about it. I am not sure if they already have started working on the game engine but maybe it is not too late.

thats the beauty of this game, these are all questions we ALL are asking ourselves and if we all knew how the game worked then it wouldn’t be much fun now would it? i’ve seen plenty of times myself dominating a team but not getting any goals. i think its a matter of trying out as many things as possible and tracking the results. what makes this tougher is the fact that the game engine might not be fully improved yet …maybe danilo or gabriel can clarify some points without giving up too much info?
Sorry for the long post! I don´t mean to complain but I´d like to understand why my team is having difficulties with scoring. Maybe it´s my tactics…
I am not happy with the scoring of my team. I think they should score more. I´d like to understand how scoring probability is calculated to understand better if there is too much affect on some random feature that helps my opponents keeper or maybe my tactics are just total crap.

I try to keep my teams stamina up; around 90 at least, hopefully 95 or better. Most teams I face have a worse stamina than my team.
Do the players have a hidden attribute that affects their level of performance?
How does the shooting distance affect the probability of scoring a goal?
If shooting distance is set to “short” are most shots taken by attackers or does it have other effects?
If distance is “medium”, are then more shots taken also by midfielders?
If “long”, are the defensive midfielders and defenders also shooting more or are just my attackers trying to shoot from a little further away?
I play now 3-4-3, with a diamond formation on the midfield. Changed shooting distance from “long” to “short” a while ago (maybe around season tick, not sure) but did not notice my team scoring more goals. Maybe just a little less shots on goal.
My attackers are now at A -0, should I put them to A1,how would that affect on an estimate? Better quality of shots, better chances to score?
Should I match the A+-0 with the shooting distance? If I have “short” I should put my attackers to A+1 to better match the tactics?
I´m wondering what is my problem now. Are my tactics just crappy or is there a too big affect of some random feature that happens to help the opposing goalkeepers?
Is there something else I haven´t thought about? What I am not understanding here?
I think when I have many +90 shooters on the field and make so many shots on goal, I should be able to score more goals against these 84-88 keepers.

In the short-term I have a few plans, but nothing very complex. Something that would consider the team quality or the league quality of the teams making proposals for instance will be considered in the long-term.
