With more countries (and users) we will probably have to consider more matches or do other type of change.
First, in English:
In the first 100 non-friendly matches of a manager or team, the points are the sum of match results (3 points per victory, 1 per draw and 0 per loss). From match number 101 and the following, we use the formula:
points = points – (points / 100) + match result (3, 1 or 0)
This way the more points you have more difficult to earn more points and easier to lose them in case of loss. The opposite happens for those with few points, it’s faster to earn points with victories than losing them with losses.
=======
pontos = pontos – (pontos / 100) + resultado da partida (3, 1 ou 0)
Dessa forma quanto mais pontos se tem mais difícil fica para ganhar mais pontos e mais rápido para perder em caso de derrota. O inverso vale pra quem tem poucos pontos, é mais rápido subir com vitórias do que perder pontos com derrotas.
Gabriel,
Como e calculado os pontos do ranking ??
Grato
Howeever, time proves I was right.
Hello everybody!
We need volunteers to help us writing our game help. You can either write new topics in English or translate existing topics to your native language. As some of you may know we have a game help wiki with a few topics we’ve written in English and Portuguese. Leave a message if you wanna help and we’ll contact you with more details. The basic idea for new topics is that we’ll give the volunteers an overview about a specific topic so that he/she has enough information to write it.
Anybody? :D
Friendlies and official matches have the same effect on player improvement, so you don’t need to worry. In the future we may change this so that friendly matches are less effective than official matches.
About morale, we still don’t have a final decision about how that will work, but probably not playing at all would affect morale more than playing friendlies, even though at some point not playing official matches will end up affecting it as well. More details on that when we start working on it, not high priority now.
Cheers!
I have a question,
I have coaching level 9,
Will only the players who play first team matches gain more attributes or can any player even if he never plays a first team match and do friendly’s count towards attributes??.
The thing is I have youth players that are good enough to earn a contract but not quite ready for first team football, I play them in friendly matches but I hope that will increase their skill cause they are not ready for first team football.
Also noticed in another thread about morale, please dont set it up so that players lose morale if they dont play first team cause I have quite a few players on contracts that dont play first team yet only friendlys.
Best wishes.
We’ve tried that once, didn’t work…but it’s worth trying again :)
Why not just post it like
“help needed in:
1)…
2)…
3)…"
And maybe you wont need to give any advantage at all…
Soon we are planning to start an initiative to expand our community. For that to happen, one of the things we need is a complete online help on our wiki, at least in english. This consumes a good amount of time, which we don’t have. And on some areas it is very difficult to get volunteers to help us. So here is what is on our mind:
To create a “contributions wanted” page, with rewards (in game money) that would be paid to the managers of the contributor choice. But for that to be fair, we would also have to reward our donators and our previous contributions.
We know that this goes against our initial ideas of “never give any advantage to anybody”, but it seems that there is no other way of efficiently expand this game. There is also the fact that the resulting contributions would benefit everybody.
Let’s hear some opinions on that.
cheers
Hehe, wondered why no one asked before. To be honest, personally i’m not very keen on (winning) the national cups, so i left them out. But sure, i can add it to the list above.
Hello!
Congratulations, Phillip, you’ve maid a fantastic job!! ;) Now a question, my friend, what happen with the National Cup of every country? :)Best regards to all Rubysoccer maniacs!
Javier.
Some minor improvements we did today:
- Show points on ranking screen
- Statistics computer stores the “against” criteria on refresh and look for the manager name, not the forum name
- Fixed a couple bugs on the history tables
When we have more countries the international cups will start earlier and we should be fine…the purpose of having them in the end is to have competitions throughout the whole season and leave the most important ones to the end. But I agree there is an advantage right now for countries with more teams on first division, let’s see what we can do.
Cheers!
currently international matches are close to the end of the seasons. I think it’s a disadvantage for clubs from countries with 20 teams in the league. They play 4/2 more league games than e.g. portugal/germany during their international appearances.
i suggest to start earlier with the international matches, maybe 3 turn after the national cup final …
So all would have the same handicaps.
Well, we won’t punish anybody due to unofficial trades, they’ve been going on for a while now and that’s ok. A tool may take a while, it’s not in our near future plans, lots of high priority enhancements first ;)
Cheers!
Unfortunately you won’t be able to trade with him right now, we plan to delete old records so situations like this don’t happen again.
Regards.
so what’s what’s the rule till the tool? and when will a tool be implemented?
Oi,
I’m interested in buying this player: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/26416
… but since i and Miguel Marques shared the same network a couple months ago (both worked in the same client and i introduced him to the wonderful world of ruby), the system “thinks” i’m trying to cheat.
Any help?
Regards,
Jorge
sorry … my mistake … after last red card … two yelow cards on the next two games
Hi,
I have a player with a red card for a couple of games and still continues with the red card. Can you please check
Portugal – Team Maritimo – player Filipe Leao
2 hours early is Portugal… Portugal entered the depressing winter hour :)))
Our server entered on daylight saving time, that’s why the ticks ran 1 hour earlier.
Cheers!
Added to our list Alban. It has been suggested before but we hadn’t created an enhancement for that yet. :)
I would like to be able to loan out young players to clubs with coaching department level 10, can this be added, please ?
