Just to let everybody know that I found out what is going on. On the rule Alban posted there is an important detail missing: the board will deduct from your money the value of any open transfer proposals you have, so for instance if I have 8,000,000 and an open proposal of 2,000,000, the board will consider I have 6,000,000 for stadium or departments expansion, and that’s the value they’ll use to check if my financial situation is enough to do the expansion.
This topic was good, now we have one more subject clarified (this needs to go to game help).

I think that if we could choose that kind of training would be great. For example, i have a young center attacker that have 59 of shooting and 72 of tackle…
When he plays a game he’s allways improving the tackle, and the shooting is always equal… It’s kind of funny, but he is one candidate to be fired when he turns professional, besides the other stats are not bad at all.

jasf, the load problem can happen sometimes, our server has limited resources.
as for the rest, is anybody else experiencing this kind of problem?
firefox, internet explorer and chrome. The formation creation sometimes works, sometimes don’t. And like this error, there’s other errors that appears only sometimes: in the messages part a long list of html code (i think) appears, and in any part it appears an error saying it can’t load the page.
It was my fault guys. But I think i will do it more times, if that is what it takes to get you guys to visit the forum! :D

If the expansion costs 4,000,000, you’d end up with 4,000,000

I’m Wigan Athletic’s coach and i’ve notice that i’m not able to increase the coaching lever of my team! I currently have 9 coachs, 2 physios and 2 scouts.
Is there any explanation for this situation or is it a system bug?
Well, i have and had javascript enabled. But in the last days the game was working fine, so i thought the problem was solved. But now it’s like before. I can’t do nothing in formation creation.
As i said, it can’t be nothing related to my computer, because i tried on other computers and browsers and the problem was there too.

Following this calculation I should afford for an stadium improvement with any problem. But I am not allowed even to set level 1 scout.

I´d like to know if it is a bug or some kind of limitation as I´m not allowed to improve my stadium neither my staff departaments. I agree my wages are a bit too high, but I have a good amount of money in my account that should cover the improvements.

Barcelona’s (fast ticker) manager recently left on turn 47 the team. on turn 49 a new manager was accepted again. who recognized it or had a chance to apply ?!
Two things i’d like to suggest:
– a list of the clubs whose managers just left in the “news” section (“apply for a job”)
– a minimum of 3 turns, better 6 turns (after a manager left) for putting in applications

Shame they are in 1st Division with a very tiny squad. Big difference to barcelona who I had just started to get to be a great force in spain.

well i think if your loaning a good young player that is worth 6 million.
its actully hurting the team rather than helping because he isnt developing
id like to see a base reqirement… an auto return and fine for the loaning in team …. that way the team that has loaned the player out doenst have to pay out a shit load just to get the player back.
or raise the cost of the loan where i make income untill he is played
Maybe the amount of required matches could be related to the wage percentage. For instance, if I loan your player paying 100% of the wage I’m not required to use him, but if I pay 50% I must play him at least in half the matches. The numbers don’t need to be these, just giving an idea :)

what about loaning out ur player and the team that takes him isnt playing him at all
there for wasting him and hes no developing,
can there be a clause where they have to play him once every 40 turns at least
cos ive got players loaned out to siena and that jerk isnt playing them…and if i call him back i lose 1.4 million

Player positions on match report now reflect the teams starting line-up. There was some misunderstanding when the formation and players position displayed didn’t match due to individual tactics or strategies. For example, before this change, if a team’s formation was 4-4-2 but at the 45th minute there was a strategy to move a defender to the attack the players position in the match report would make you think the formation used was 3-4-3.
