LOL Alban…..I’m sure that’s not his question. Blakos, all I know is that it really matters for defenders. If you have defenders on D+1 it is very important your goalkeeper has good dribble. The rest is all up to you….
By dragging them onto the field by holding the left button of the mouse ?
Hi everybody, sorry if I brought up something that is maybe already in a post somewhere, but I couldn’t find the subject of making your line up. I am trying to put my players on different lines (+1, 0 or -1), but don’t know anything about how to make such a decisions. Could anyone help me a bit, all advice is welcome!
Thanks in forward!
Some teams are really millionaires Ricardo. The economy in general needs several improvements and we have them planned. Probably after the current match engine enhancements I’m working on I can start working on economy enhancements.
Thanks!
Hi mates,
This is probably the first post I put in RubySoccer.
Some managers are ruin this game (i speak because i’ved lots of experience in some games similiar to these one in the past).
Martin Joachim, 33 years old, MR, free transfered with a salary of 300,000k a week.
Give me a break.
Transfers of 300 millions in some countries.
Get real.
Hope the gamasters do something, otherwise lots of backrupt will apear.
Cheers,
Ricardo Ramos
Hmmm, that’s not good, the rule shouldn’t be partially applied. I’ll create a bug record in our system.
Thanks for reporting!
Yes, I’ve added this enhancemet to our list.
About the subs, I have a issue too…..last match I was putting a tactic saying that if I’m ahead after 60min then change on of the attackers and put a defender in but what happened was that at about 30 minutes one of my defenders got injured so for him came on the defender that I wanted to put in a sub if I’m ahead. Well I was ahead, but since the player was already on the field, the only thing that the system did was to put my attacker in defense cause there was no sub for him.
so will something like this be a real possibility in the near future
Thank you!!!
There must be something wrong with the message you received, have you received a message saying the player was sold? You should have received that to let you know that your loan ended as a result of the transfer. We’ll take a look.
I’ll make it clear somewhere in the screen and in the game help.
The match replay is pretty simple, I must agree. We definitely want to improve it so that watching the replays is fun and help us identify things to be improved in the match engine. The problem with the current format is that we have very little information stored for the replay, so there is no easy way to display arrows and symbols as you mention, so a new design may be necessary and it will take a while.
Nice suggestions ;)
I wouldn’t say that, Alban. It’s better to pass the ball (even if they miss) than try to run with it and lose the ball in a tackle ;)
u have answered it yourself… in all the official games, ( from real world to ruby soccer), 3 substitutions are allowed per match (except for friendlies).
Don’t worry, this happens in the Cup to me all the time. Be it at PSG or when I was at Lens, I never get far in this competition. Yet I can win the League and get to the CL Semi-Finals. I’ll take that as consolation. Good luck in the cup.
Hy masters,
What it means, “The last transfer involving player Heitor Alencar was rolled back by the game masters.”, I’ve loaned a goalkeeper from Santo André. It manager inform me that the was in a sale transaction with Fortaleza, and ok so far. So today I’ve received this message but the player is no back for Santo Andre.
Thank you
D. Broca
We have a limit for the substitutions on the official games?
I have listed 6, but only 3 are being realized.
Thanks for your answer.
Can something done to improve the current match replay ?
Maybe add some arrows to understand how the players pass or also some special tackle symbols ?
I also think that it will be better if we have longer list of comments, I mean that we could scroll up/down for the comments without FF/REW the match =)
Maybe some more interesting details…
I just remember that in MS I liked to watch the replay though it wasn’t much (or any) better than in Ruby.
Match engine improvements
1) Defenders usually have low passing skill, will it mean that now they will lose the ball more often near their goal ?
Second improvement on the match engine: passing logic. Players used to pass the ball to the most distant teammate within the range specified in the passing strategy (short, medium or long), now they pass to any player within the range.
well, i might have had a better tactics out there ;)
Got it…. Tanks again, Gabriel
paris is cursed!!!!
yeah but a lot of those 4-4-2 are not a classic 4-4-2, same as the 3-5-2, it only says that cause you put 4 defenders but most people playing with 4 defenders play a 1-3 or a 3-1 in defense….it’s only 4-4-2 on paper but in reality it’s far from being that if you look at replays
First improvement from the match engine enhancements package: zone based passing frequency. Your team will still use the passing frequency strategy you define, but your defenders will pass the ball a little more frequently while your attackers will pass a little less frequently.
I have a question about the wrong player taking the penalty/corner/free kick. Was the player assigned playing when the match started?
most matches i watched have either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 with ppl managing it and reaching high in uefa/cl… but wing play i not a real good thing atm so i think it’s not being used.
or reach the semi-finals with my lineup :P
I personally think the UEFA cup victory in season 19 of Lyon was more impressive :)….look at the type of players at Lyon and then look at Recreativo :)….proving you don’t need the best players to win :)
