Managers now have a reputation to worry about. If you go to a manager’s information page you’ll see his/her reputation. Everybody starts with 100% and whenever something suspicious is identified this value may go down. Admins and GMs will be responsible for the decisions around the reputation value.
This information will also be available when you are making offers to buy players or when you are looking at offers being made for your players, just in case you wanna take that in consideration when doing business in the game. Remember, failing to let us know of suspicious activities is almost as bad as the suspicious activities themselves ;-)
More to be released on the same subject soon!

When using facebook there is a link in my left side menu to the RS aplication but it opens a small window in facebook with the RS hope page inside. That is not very useful so if you can you should either let it open a new window or let it go to the aplication page…
I would love to help Gabriel, can ben helpfull with design or input.
The wiki has really got behind for some time now. We need a more decent help system, personally I think the wiki as it is will not work. As soon as we come up with a good design we may ask for volunteers to add content ;-)
No offence Ulisses, but this has happend forever in this game. It use to be a common thing in Managersim to outbid the other teams 1 sec before the tick. Heck, I recall setting my alarm clock to be able to outbid someone in the middle of the night.
I don’t want to be totally rude to you, but I know why you bring this up now. It’s because Valladolid outbid you on the last minute on Antonio Islas. I think you of all people knows this happens plenty in this game. I feel it’s only now that you were the victom that you bring it up on this topic.
I say nothing needs to be done. This is something that happens in real life football aswell.
You are approaching the game in a very intresting way, but it’s not how things work. Don’t forget this game is made out of 0’s and 1’s :). It can’t actually think you know :). It’s just facts and math behind it. They just put in certain rules how a player comes to his choice. I don’t know the math behind it. That’s a secret I guess. It has to stay that way otherwise we get chaos. To summerise, let’s say a certain team has a total of 83avr players while yours might have 85. He’ll chose to go to the 83avr team since his avr skill is closer to 83 then it is to yours of 85. Now, in order to get the player to go to your team you need to offer an X amount more then the opponent. Now here is where I also don’t know the exact numbers. Perhaps when the 2 teams aren’t that far apart it’s only double the wage. I guess in your case, your team was just so much better that double the wage wasnt enough.
Now you need to understand the reason why this rule was implemented. if a new manager enters the game, with no real money of his own, he needs to look at cheap players or free transfer players. It would be unfair if any big club outbids him on every single decent player he go’s for. So gabriel and danilo decided to implement this to give a slight advantage to smaller teams.
Let’s be fair here, it’s only for those cheap or free transfer players, since any player listed for 15mill+ becomes a different story. Since we assume that those small teams don’t have that kind of cash, or would spend that much on just 1 player.
I hope this clears things up. You can e-mail me in game if you want for any further followup questions and I’ll help you as best as I can.
I think you should drastically lower your prices, they look extremly high for the types of players you are selling.
sure…. I’ll start to train a young keeper for you! Just give me 3 more seasons :)…
I agree, whats the point in handing everyone the keys to the game mechanics/logistics? build friendships with managers and test shit out for yourselves. lots of users have put in a lot of time testing stuff out. its only natural they don’t go around telling everything to everyone. but i do agree that the wiki seems to be lagging behind in content. even as a new manager, maybe more info through it would be better.
I think this should work like real libertadores. Example: best 1st against worst 2nd, no matter if they belong to the same group/country.
Yeah the advantage I have for seeing match replays and thinking a little about the game… really unfair…
Sorry but, who voted on that “same country” thingy? I think it’s more silly to play the same team from your group then playing someone from your own country. I don’t care about facing a french team in the quaters at all. Facing the same team from my own group is just UNREALISTIC.
I personally would like to have a vote or something to see this changed. It’s just stupid.
wrong, there should not be any secrets of a game, giving players advantages over others
The wiki doesn’t have nor should have every single aspect of the game, it should be helpfull for new managers to know their way in the game but all the rest you must find out for yourselves. The speed thing I think has been posted in the announcements topic but the A-1 coming behind to get the ball I figured seeing match replays and trying it…
The problem is that by adding the rule to avoid same country matches as much as possible I removed the rule that prevented teams from the same group to face each other in the next stage. I know, it is silly, but it was too complicated to keep both and there was a lot of pressure to implement the same country avoidance.
@Filipe: I agree new countries should be added with time and patience, but 1 more european and 1 or 2 South American countries should be enough.
^ cos there isnt
….uhhh can we go back to topic plz?
Felipe really nice information did’t know about it.
So I went to the wiki page to see how i could miss something about the game.
And sadly, there is no where talking about it !!!
sending messeges like this:
“From: Marc Davison
Subject: lol
LOL @ YOU noob"
points out why i said what i said.
LOL ^ wah ? cry about it LOL hahaha im not crying, this game meaning nothing in life, however i point out flaws.. in this case i was correct, and my 2nd post was joking with filipe
what a lol fool you are time of the month ?haha anyway im more the manager you will ever be.
accept it
I’ve been rly friendly, but now you’ve done it. If you don’t know all the mechanics of the game then ask but you just fucking whine like a 8 year old baby Davison. Everything everyone else says is bullshit to you, everything has to be your way and if it doesn’t you cry cry cry and cry about it. Grow up little twat, you are not only annoying my ass of but more ppl.
So just fucking stop it and accept that you aren’t the best manager in this game or just leave it.
this is all bs ^ lol

@Filipe: I not saying that it was premeditated… but it must be fixed. Gabriel explain me that they wanted to avoid games with two teams of the same country. Ok, I understand that but for example, in my group stage there were 3 brasilian teams and one from argentina. I lose the game… libertadores quarters was good to increase some of my youth players… but as Sly wrote above… is quite annoying and silly.
Another reason why for now we should have the old system, the way it is now there will be things like this every season and it only brings unnecessary pressure for new countries (witch I think should be added with time and patience).
An A-1 comes back in the field to tackle the defenders and mids and gain ball position many times. Any player playing -1 position loses speed when the team attacks. With that knowledge it is natural your player seemed to be playing as a defender, when your team gets the ball all players go up and that one does it much slower (80 – stamina condition – playing-1), if you want a stricker to play -1 use one with great speed and tackle (free tip here :D), thats why you didn´t notice that with Almeida, he is much better A-1 than Renganeschi.
A simple observation for a simple explanation, much helpful than “this is all BS” heim Davison?
I think 1 thing is quite annoying. I’ve had it in Cl and this season again in EL. When going to the quaters i don’t think you should be playing a team from your own group YET AGAIN. That’s just silly.
Both developers are Brazilian so its hard to believe it was premeditated… Gabriel said the group selection will be fixed when more countries are added, I dont know how hard it is but maybe until that the group selection could be done has it was in the past: 1-5-9-13 ; 2-6-10-14 and so on, where each number means the team quality
ManUtd is loaning 3 great young keepers, they have all skills close to 90 and the 3 are still improving. Anyone who loan one of them out and use him as main keeper can have him for 3 seasons if needed, no matter how much he improves he wont be called back so you can have a great keeper for that time until you train you own…
Also take a look at the players for sale, the prices can be negotiated so you may find here a good deal…
