All the options work for all players except the ones on position RC (Midfield and defence). There are no options to go “right” for these players. As well as the team has the ball as when the opponent has the ball. Can you fix this.
On the position LC everything is ok. I can go left and right there.
@ Philipp: 12 seasons? so you’re talking about fastticker? In fastticker I have very good youth players (1x 96; 1x 94;1x 91; 1x 88;…)
But I’m talking about mediumticker (6 seasons). Maybe other teams in Italy have better youth, I don’t know.
I mean the highest level I achieved with this player after developping.
The same in Italy (mediumticker) smithers. At least for my team. The best youth I have in this 6 seasons is a 82 Midfielder. :S This is pityful.
I understand your point. In Europe is a round more. But in Europe there are maximum 7 international places (4x CL and 3x UEFA) and in South America there are 10 international places (5 Lib. and 5 Sudam.).
So in South America you can in general earn more points. So they have a big advantance for youths, etc…
So is this system balanced? I don’t think so. Now with the same points system South American teams can earn more points in general (all together).

Indeed. That’s why I suggest a coach report. Separated of the coach department.
But if there would be a poll for this subject I would vote against. I think the game is better the way it is right now.
I also agree with Alban about knowing the player level. Altough I understand Polat. Maybe a coach report every… i don’t know 48 turns… is a possibility. That’s 3 times every season. This coach report gives a hint about the level of some players.
e.g. Player x has to play more matches. Player Y won’t improve much. Things like that…
This way you know something about the level of your players but not much. So the game is still fun…
Let the system pick every coach report 5 players random. Then there will be players who have more coach reports and there will be ones who have none. But that’s part of the game.
So there is a possibility that the system gives a coach report of most of your players in 2 seasons. (6 times coach report x 5 players every report = +/- 30 players possible.

I saw that Hertha Berlin in Fastticker is selling Lázaro Rodriguez Davila. Nothing wrong with that. But Belenenses, a CPU team is bidding 21.5M for him. I think this may not happen. They can bid for this player but 21.5M for a CPU team is waste of money according to me. Surely because they already have a 88 GK and a 85 GK.

I like Philipp’s suggestion. Allthough I think it’s better that there is a kind of shortlist where you can add the teams you’re interrested in. If one of this teams is vacant you receive an ingame message with an invitation to manage that team. You can decide to take the job or to refuse. If you don’t get the job you stay with you’re old team but lose some points with the board cause they lose some faith in you.
Otherwise manager X will leave his team to manage the vacant team but manager Y will be hired and manager X has no team anymore.
I agree with Dave that every manager must be aware that he can be fired. Also the managers of top teams.
I manage Genoa in fastticker from the beginning and it take a while before I find the good tactics, but now I have a top team. This also means the board expectations are very high. League: fight for the title, cup: reach the final, international expactation: reach semi-final.
The Italian Serie A is not that strong as the Spanish or English league so I win the title every time with a large gap to the second and sometimes I wish a bit more concurrence.
But nevertheless I also have a “bad result” if I play 0-0. So also I can get fired.
The point is that I will be disappointed if I would be fired but I like the game and will search for another challenge. Another team I can bring to the top.
About Andre CML, he is fired for inactivity. He was on a holiday and did not use the holiday mode so he was fired. He was very disappointed and that’s the reason he left the game.
He was a great competitor for my Cagliari in mediumticker. I had great battles against his Torino.
Now I hope I can beat Dave’s Torino for the title. He’s a great competitor as well.
I also like the idea of " you’re fired but team X want to hire you"
Another question. I bought a player in fastticker (Genoa) Jerônimo Vargas. He is a MD with tac 73, pass 78 and sho 88. Will he improve his tac or his pass to at least 88 cause shooting is a secondary skill?
In mediumticker (Cagliari) I have a similar situation with Henrique Horta. He is a D with Tac 77 and Sho 81. Will he improve to a tackle of at least 81? Shooting is also a secondary skill here?
Otherwise I have bought the wrong player… but another point in the game is clear :-)
Cheers
Thanks. It’s clear now.

So a DA with tackle 80 and shooting 75 won’t improve untill his shooting is better than his tackle??
Then I was wrong all the time. I thought that:
If I see a DA (Tackle 80, shooting75) on the transferlist I know because of his position his shooting skills will be better than his tackling skills. So this player will improveBut if this same player was original a AD ( so his tackling is better than his shooting) AND he is swapped to a DA by the manager I think with the information I have, his shooting will be better than his tackle cause I see the DA but actually he is a AD (so his tackle will be better than his shooting).
Same with MA <→ AM and DM<→MD
This was my point. But if I was wrong I ’m sorry
I find the possibility to swap player’s possition a good option for the team set up. But I have problems with it when a player is transferlisted. For example when a player is transferlisted as a DA with Tackle 80 and Shooting 70, does this mean he is a original DA of a swapped AD. In the 2e possibility he can improve his shooting to 81. If he is a original DA there is a chance he won’t improve.
So I suggest that a transferlisted player receive again his original position (only on the transferlist).

Maybe $ 900.000 is actually a bit much. I would say at least $200.000 for each department, so $600.000 in total. A team must be able to keep at least 1 department at 100%, but not to keep all 3 of them at 100%.
I also think managers will choose for the coach department to spend money on. Scouting isn’t necessary when you look for players yourself and physio is not that important because the injuries are not that long right now.
I was looking for new players when I saw players with stamina like 3, 4 or 17 without injuries. I think this is ridiculous. In real life a player with stamina “3” has a very big chance for an injury of half a season.
I suggest a “not match fit” if a player has a stamina below 50. The player can’t play matches anymore untill his stamina reached again a stamina of 51.
Also the injuries of players with a stamina below 85 must be longer and the risk for injuries must be much higher.
I think this a reasonable solution.

I like Philipp’s suggestion. ’Cause otherwise all clubs have 100% improved staff departments after a certain time.
And maybe they can improve by experience. So the longer they are coach, the more experienced they are. With this experience they can coach more effective.
So coaches (or other departments) need to be financed to stay at the same level and can improve by experience.
I also think there has to be no difference between big and small clubs
I had done a bid for Paul Picken from Fulham (fastticker). His transferprice is $241 837. It’s ridiculous. I had done a bid of $2 441 837 (a bit higher than his normal value). In the meanwhile I have cancelled my bid after seeing this message. I don’t want to negotiate with this manager untill I know more.
I think you have to stop all the transfers of a manager who is in an investigation (also in general).

I normally have english as language, also for my board. But since this morning “your peformance” is in I guess portuguese. All the rest is still in english.

Ok. Thanks.
My player Cuccinato (Genoa – fastticker) has a increase of his tackle skill from 87 to 94 in 1 tick. I’m very happy with it :-) but I was wondering that this increase isn’t a bit much for 1 tick. Is this a bug? Does this mean he won’t increase anymore.
Cheers
Now the end of the season in fastticker is almost there I have looked to the number of goals made by midfielders (and defenders). It’s very low. All the goals are made by attackers, so if your attacker has a bad season or even a bad period you can lose many points in the ranking.
In real life midfielders (and defenders) also score goals and this isn’t so in the game. I think the chance that midfielders score in a match must be higher. The midfielder must have a reasonable shooting skill of course. Otherwise the secondary shooting skill of e.g. 75 of an defender/midfielder is worthless.
Cheers
Maybe you can also add the possiblility to mark a specific player. So not only mark player but e.g. mark attacker on position C+1. So that defender (or player) only take care of that specific opposite player. That can be a possibility to hold the playmaker of the opposite team out of the game.
Cheers
I like your new formation screen but i think there’s a bug in it.
I can change to other formations e.g. “cup” than my default squad for the formation but if I want to take the ‘strategie page’ for this cup formation it doesn’t work. It always gives my default strategie, also when I choose the “cup” one in the selection screen.
Or do I something wrong….
Cheers
Also an ex-managersim manager. But only the last 2 years of the game…
Dirk
I also think you must be patient. I think your biggest problem is that you don’t score so may goals. But that’s a trend in the whole game. Less goals than before. I have the luxury of 3 top strikers.
But the competition in Italy is very close so with a few wins your back in the european league places.
I think many managers will come back if they see the improvement. And probably the number of countries at the moment will be the main point why managers left. I also know at least 1 manager who left the game because he was fired after inactivity. Maybe 1 week is a bit less. I know there is an holiday option but I think many managers doesn’t know this…
