i haven’t changed any of my strategies and they donot overlap one another as they are… regarding the red card, although i checked after yesterdays match, i cannot say i checked it properly…:(
may be two yellow card was the case… and yes it was :( i was so much involved in the loss, i didn’t check the match before to see his card …

with 54100 size stadium, why is my team not able to generate more than 300K worth of ticket amount???
i wouldn’t have complained if the opponent team was a lower ranked team, but this time around it was a team which has won 3 out of last 5 league titles and is also playing in the champions league this season…
Last season in segunda division, i was earning around 450- 500K against almost all the human teams and higher ranked teams…
its not just the ticks… overall browsing experience is also slower… but i felt that since yesterday ( 12th july 2009)
Some error or is it really possible??

1. Player Growth Difference
Is there any difference of player growth between lower division and premier division?? (obviously for the same coaching level)… ?? I mean do the players in lower division have slower growth rates for same coaching level??
2. Home Players Skills
Which one is better?? to give home teams +3 skill advantage or to reduce -3 from the visiting players?? Either way home players will have the advantage, but i don’t see how any player can gain +3 skill points just bcoz they are playing in home. But away teams are likely to suffer on some of their skills because of travel disorder, fatigue during travel, adjusting to new scenario etc. May be if we had some attribute like “WillPower”, it would have made more sense to increase that attribute for home players.
This could also be somewhat helpful in reducing some factors like passing accuracy, shooting accuracy and effective tackles as players will then have less overall skills, although the difference between teams remains the same.

well, in all my honesty, i never saw this post… might have been during my exams period,… that was the time i got fired:( … although i got fired, i think a manager should never be allowed to think that his position in the team is irrepleceable… there should always be a chance that manager gets fired, and it is in ruby soccer, which is a good thing.
but there needs to be a lot of factors to become a good manager… well, when i was with bordeaux, i really loved the club, but then things didn’t work out… but that doesn’t mean i am down and out… i will fight my way back.. i have learned a lot from my bordeaux experience…
also sly, i think you have learned from your Everton experience in MT (where you had a 22 match losing streak) , a manager without enough funds and good players cannot really do much. but then these things are a part of real life or any other experience…
lets see what i can do with levante in spain in FT… i have reached the primera division, but then looking at other teams and their players, it seems a lot more hard to stay in the division than it was in france… well… lets hope for the best… and in MT, i guess Zwolle in Netherlands is doing quite well… if things go well as they have been currently, i might be in my first champions league :)
what we need to consider is, in real life, the league winning bonus is not a very huge percentage of the clubs income source. Ticket Prices ( very good source, depending on your fanbase and stadium size), TV Revenue ( another good source of income), Merchandise and Players Transfers are the main factors. Keeping this thing in mind, we could play around with the league bonus…
just hoping that winner and higher places finish get their recognition, and also doesn’t create a huge divide in the league
by the way i had another thing in mind too… i am not sure if all the leagues have this provision, but, in EPL, three new entrantsto the premier league get 50m at the end of the season. Newly promoted clubs bank this fund and get loan so that they can get some good players. No, i am not suggesting this should be implemented, but then i thought with all these discussions around it would be a good time to plant this idea into game administrators mind:)… and i am also not suggesting it should be 50m, i am just stating what happens in EPL.

vaughn, there is no problem in meeting teams from the same league after the group stage. if there are four teams from the same league in knockout round (quarter-finals), then quarter finals should be organized in such a way that not all teams from the same league reach the semi finals and same in the semi-finals too so that more leagues can represent the CL/EL (europa league). (similar as in real uefa competition)
