How many turns would a youth player wait after asking for a contract??

I’m on vacation next week so I have to use the holidaymode.

I have a good youth (Cappelli) who can ask a contract during my absence. I know the board will give him a contract. The problem is that I have only to empty places left in my team.
If there are 2 youths who ask for a contract before him, they will get these 2 empty places and the board will release Cappelli. Am I right?

I don’t wanna loose him for a bad youth who gets the empty place.
