I’ll be honest with you Polat, I really want to add more countries to the game as soon as possible, I haven’t done that for 2 reasons:
1) We don’t have that many users yet so most teams would be CPU controlled
2) The tick time could increase too much, specially when league matches are played
We need to address problem number 2 first and lower the tick time to a reasonable value (we’re working on it). Afterwards we can try to advertise RubySoccer to attract more users. Believe me, I’m looking forward to it, having smaller countries like Venezuela and Cyprus will really add a new challenge to the game :-)

From now on matches played will have a man of the match whose name will be in bold in the match report. The man of the match is selected based on the player rating. If more than one player have the highest rating we have some extra points given in the match logic that can be used to decide the one with the best performance. This information is also available in the player history.
Don’t worry JD, we have a bug about that. I’m working on something else right now, maybe I can do this one right after.

During the match players will move on their own line instead of always moving along the center of the field. The only exception is when they’re close to the opponent goal, when they’ll start to move towards the goal.

I miss group stage on CL and Libertadores as well. I liked your suggestion, it’s just a matter of creting the logic to support the group stage. I was willing to wait until more countries were added but it may be worth to add the group stage with just a few countries and adjust it afterwards. Let’s see :-)

It’s now possible to colorize the players attributes in the team players screen. This feature makes it easier to identify higher attributes and gives you a graphical ideia of your team quality.

You assumed right, managers ranking is based on team results without bonus per competition type. I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one who would like to have this kind of bonus. We’ll discuss that and see how that would affect our ranking based features. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

We are aware of that problem Hugo, currently we only create these kinds of events at the end of the season, that’s why you’re seeing the wrong information. It shouldn’t be hard to create the event when the competition ends, specially for national cup and international cups. Thanks for reporting, even though we have that on our list it’s good to be reminded of some bugs so we can raise their priorities ;-)

+3 for all home team players’ attributes. We’ve made some tests before adding it to the game and away teams were able to win. Also it has been applied for a while now, season 7 on FastTicker was entirely played with this bonus and there were lots of away victories. We’ll keep an eye on it anyway, just to make sure the results are not unrealistic as you mentioned :-)

Victory = 2 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
Advancing to next phase = 1 point (I guess this one is valid only for CL and Libertadores)
Just the number of matches. If after a match you see a player improving much more than he used to it is likely that he has reached his maximum potential. That’s the only situation he would improve more, but again, no matter what kind of match or opponent.

You can access the last match replay from your team info screen using the new replay button to the right of the match. This way you can wath the replay without previsously knowing the result (if you have the show recent result option turned off in your settings).

Don’t worry Dave, I’ve just added a partial fix for that :-)
By partial I mean that we’ll try to replace the unavailable player by someone from the same position exactly where that player was supposed to be, but we won’t guarantee the picked player will have the right side to fit in that position. It’s better if I give an example.
suppose you had a player on M L 0…if you have any midfielders available (our logic for now doesn’t consider AM and DM as midfielders, even though they are) we pick the one with greatest passing, no matter if his side is L, C or R. If no midfielders are available, the logic will work as it was previously, putting someone in the attack or defense.
It’s still needs improvements, but at least I could do a partial fix relatively fast ;-)

Players, managers and teams can now be added to your hotlists. This works like bookmarks and help you keeping an eye on players and teams of interest, managers who are your friends or rivals in the game and so on. To add a player, manager or team in your hotlists just go to the correspondent info page and use the new “Add to hotlist” icon beside the player/manager/team name. The icon will then be changed to the “Remove from hotlist” icon. To view your hotlist use the new “Hotlists” option in the menu, right below “The Board” option.

The skills used by the keeper right now are keeping, speed and passing, keeping being the most important. The use of passing is the same as for the other players, we consider that when the player passes the ball to a teammate. In the future we plan to make speed and control have more influence in the keeper’s defenses.

I was out of town and I didn’t know exactly what Danilo did, but the problem I was investigating was related to replays of matches were substitutions happened. If that’s your case Torres, we may still have this problem.
