My experience has been that it takes 2-3 ticks after I hired the player for the other players’ morale to go back to normal
I do not have a situation like that right now to take a screenshot, but I’ll send you one next time I do
Your players morale is only affected by existing transfer proposals for them or by your team’s transfer proposals for outsiders. Once a player is hired the morale effect the transfer proposal had on him and on your other players should disappear.
How long after a new player is hired will the other players’ morale recover?
Okay, I understand, otherwise the low ranked countries would never make it to the top. So for Germany it’s good to see that with the results of the previous years, the country moved up on the ranking. Now hope that the CPU teams will follow this development in order to make the next step.
I think it has to do with 2 things:
1) Match performance – every match counts, not only the round you reach. Visé probably got more points in the group rounds…
2) Average per team is what counts, not country total. Germany is “punished” for having 6 teams in intl cups (because most are CPUs…). I checked, and Stuttgart and Hamburger got almost no points for Germany, bringing the average down
How are the point for the country ranking being calculated. It seems a bit odd this year for Germany. Even now Germany has won the European League it delivered almost no extra points. With the country ranking becoming more important for player development, it’s important to have a clear calculation.
Belgium ended this year for example with ~36000 points, with 1 club (Visé) only reaching to the round of 16 of the finals of the Champions League. Germany had also 1 club reaching to the same round. So I expect at least the same score here. However, on top of that, Germany had also 1 club reaching to the same round in the European League and 1 even won the title! How come Germany ended with ~29.000 points only?!
Maybe it’s a bit harsh the way it is at the moment but it is possible for a player to refuse your offer without a counter offer, as long as your offer is below a given threshold that varies from player to player. The suggested wage is supposed to help with that, as long as you have a high enough level in the negotiations area of the club. When considering a new wage the player will look at his teammates to identify any players that he considers worse than him that are earning more, if he finds any this will bump up his asking wage.
I suppose there is a disconnect between the player status in relation to wage and his asking wage. The status wage will look at similar players outside your club. I’ll add a task for us to review both the negotiation process (maybe reduce the threshold so players won’t so easily reject your first offer) and the calculations around wage status and asking wage.
Hi Gabriel
I had a wage negotiation with my Gk Angosto. He cancelled my offer after my first bid without doing a first bid of his own. I thought you had changed the negotiations that a player would always do at least 1 counter bid.
I also find it strange even a player with 100% hapiness of his wage wants more and if he’s a key player you can’t risk not giving him this better wage.

New match rating calculation for defenders are in! I have a feeling they are a bit in the low side, but at least they are relatively easy to adjust if needed. The most important factors in the new calculation are tackle efficiency and minimum tackle attempts based on what happened during the match. We also adjust the rating accordingly if the player wasn’t in the field for the whole 90 minutes and give the usual bonus and penalties for fouls, cards, assists and goals.
It could be related to the new way we calculate the match rating, which is based solely on number of defenses and goals conceded. It’s easy to adjust the calculation now if it proves to be too harsh with the goalkeepers. There is no such concept of player form at the moment, but it’s a nice future improvement to have along with training.
Hahaha, I suppose that would be an interesting option. I’ll add to our list and see what we can come up with.
My GK has lost the plot and is quite often getting performances below 3 in games.
Is there any way to improve a players form? If not, is this something that could be added to the game in some way, even if it means introducing manual training into the game?
So can there be a team requirement ‘totally sucks’ for loaning players?
Dr. Gullit is right, it needs to be in an official match. You’ve got a tough one, I have a player in MediumTicker with the same and I don’t think he’ll ever get MotM :-P
Just a guess: Friendlies do not count anymore …
“This player needs to get a man of the match award. "
Does MotM in a friendly count for this, or only official matches?
The game is improving all the time, it won’t be long till its back on top! Managersim is good but every team has 90+ skill players that are 18 or 19 years old!
Nice to see you regardless Davison ;)
Welcome back mate, enjoy
yeh your working on … its may… as i see it ..i came back to check on this mess of a once good game
looks like its completely utterly amess and not fun. same ol shit
thankfully berhan started managersim up and we are having a blast
wow this game is dead as fook
New match rating calculation is in place for goalkeepers only, all other positions remain unchanged for now. I’ll update and release new rating calculations position by position (G, D, M and A) so we can start evaluating the changes early on.
If it’s at 6% then he believes his wage isn’t good enough, if you want to keep him happy negotiate a new one :)
Hello,
I have a player with a wages status at 6%, and another with a wages status at 100%.
Does this mean that the 6% player does not care much about his wages?
Or
Does this mean that that 6% player is about to quit my team?
Regards,
The Evolution Stage coach report has been improved to give an estimate of the player’s main skill when he’s fully developed. This estimate will be in the form of a range and will become more accurate as the player gets closer to his full potential. After generating a successful Evolution Stage report you need to wait 36 turns before requesting a new one for the same player. All existing reports of this type have been marked as a failure so managers can immediately request them to get the new version of the result, if desired.
When you add a loan clause of a higher ranked country it will cater exactly for that requirement of top 3 countries or at least 3 positions above the player home country. Regarding the coaching level it will user your team’s coach level, not the level of the loaning team. I know, it doesn’t make sense but I wanted to simplify things for now.
Thanks!
If I were not in a country 3 ranks above Argentina, however, there was nothing I could do to guarantee he would be loaned to such a country, right? The only think I can ask for is a country ranked above (at least 1 position) the player’s home country (plus I cannot ask for a minimum coaching level)
This is not a suggestion or complaint, I am really just checking
Evolution Stage report changes: what to show in the report results
39% – An estimated range for the final value of the player’s main skill (e.g 90-92 tackle)
25% – An estimated range for the final value of the player’s currently worse skill (e.g. 79-83 control)
21% – An estimated range of points the player will increase in each skill (e.g. 9-10 from the example above)
15% – An estimated range of total points the player will increase among all his skills (e.g. 63-70 points for a non-GK means 9-10 points in each skill assuming points are distributed uniformly)
I’m happy with this result, it means the report will be more useful but without revealing too much :-)
That’s correct Fabio. It was hard to come up with the appropriate wording for this coach report, I’m glad you got it right…hehe.
I have an Argentine player for which I got the following report:
“This player needs to play for a team in the top 3 countries or in a country that is at least 3 positions above his home country. Recommended coach level: 9”
I am in Paraguay (ranked 4th best country) and Argentina is ranked 10. For what I understand this player should improve by playing for my team (coaching 10) because Paraguay is more than 3 positions above Argentina, correct?
