i know:) :P well… three kinds of templates for three kinds of spaces… i believe there will be some more changes in the overall structure in the coming days…

The space available in the newspaper I believe its because there are not enouph templates to cover all the results…
i’d like to add a suggestion for the CL finals stage: teams from the same group shouldn’t meet again before the finale.
Currently the advancing 2 teams always meet again in semi-finals already, if both won their quarterfinals.
this is just a beta, there i coming more in the newspaper by time :)
Quality of articles will improve as time passes by… I am sure more suggestion will appear in the future as ppl get fed up of similar articles everyday…
But i think we could do something more about the space available in the newspaper. Most of the space for seems to have gone waste… Or is it just me who thinks so???
Nicky, we do know that the match engine needs to be tweaked, and it will. But random is the wrong word to qualify its current state. If that was true a lot of stuff would not be in the way they are right know. An example is the ranking. The names on the top of our ranking do not change that much.
Have you ever tried to investigate the different results you get when you have the same tactic X against each one of the possible tactics the adversaries can choose? It is not just a matter of team A winning against B and then losing to C, which lost to B recently.
Now articles have that info. I am also planning one more addon to our newspaper functionality that will make the articles more interesting. Wait and see :D. cheers
Something feels really weird and i think i’m not the only one. I’ve seen some beatings in my soccer life, but what’s going on? It feels like all the games are more random then ever. Team A wins from team B, Team B wins from team C but team A loses from team C. Even with almost exact the same lineup/tactics.

My team isn’t so crappy i should lose by 3-1 with shit possession and only 10 shots should i ?! I’m not the most genious with tactics, but i know what good players are etc. When ever i put in alot of effort with statistics in excel and trying to figure things out it seems to get worser every time. This is really getting out of hand in my opinion.

In fact, the plan is to have the link to the match (with the result) in all articles. So it is not mandatory to mention it on the text.
My bad, this message is supposed to be sent only when someone makes a transfer proposal for one of your players, not when you offer a contract renewal or contract to a youth player :P

I know everyone has the right to write an article, but isn’t this one saying nothing?! America-RN won infront of fans….yeah ok? against who? With what score? I think those are the most importent elements for an article?

EDIT : May be you were making some system changes, everytime i offer him a new contract, i get that message… i think this message is not necessary during the contract renewals…

seems pretty fair when u look at it from qualitative perspective, but then if you look from the country perspective, things don’t look good.
gab, i know it will be difficult to have just one team from one country in a group (in the current qualitative group formation scenario), but how about trying to ensure that there are no more than two teams from the same country in a group… three is a bit too harsh…
It’s hard to make it like in the real CL? Teams would be sorted by pots, like nº1s, nº2s, nº3s and nº4s. Than chose 1 from each to make a group, with the restrictions about the same country…
