What about gaining one extra stamina point for each tick where a player didn’t play?
2 in the tick after the match, 3 on the next, 4 on the other, and so on and so on?
I have my first team resting for almost 2 weeks and they went from 80 to 90… any squad would be more than ready to play after resting for 2 weeks.
Cheers.
What about a hidden attribute to every player that determines how many stamina points he loses per match, and how many stamina he regains after each tick? Something like “natural fitness”… i think that way our squads wouldn’t have such a “robotized” feeling.
Cheers
I also think we should have something more than the turn number, but just to help me know in what “day” we are. In SS we had tuesday, thursday and saturday, and we knew that tuesday’s tick had European competitions, thursday National cup and saturday Championship match. With the turn system i always rely on remembering at what time the league matches are. Everytime there’s a tick error, i have to go to the fixture screen and set my brain to the new times, because the tick numbers don’t really help on that matter.
Not a big deal, but even a 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 (of a week, that is) would help.
Cheers :)
There are a lot i’d like to see, but the next one… loans, please :)

My missing youths are there too, thanks :)
I thought what was considered was their estimated value.
Cheers.
3 points sounds better. I started playing with my youths on the cup so i wouldn’t get affected in the championship… with another competition i’d need 3 starting 11s + 3 or 4 subs, meaning almost a 40 player squad.
My youths are MIA for some time now, ever since i had 2 asking for contract in the same tick. Promoted one, released the other, and since then no one came up again. I only have 3 now lol. Can you fix it please?
Thanks
Well, we all know by now that the game engine needs a major tweak, but stuff like this simply can’t happen. How can someone playing a 8-2-0 tactic win 9-0? Its hilarious… but it works. Alex Murphy’s Levante has been using it since at least middle of last season, with variations of 8-1-1… probably when someone gets suspended, haven’t checked that out.
Cheers.
Is there a way to log mac addresses? Would be more trustworthy than ips, imo.
Cheers.
Now that the first season is almost done (and so many things have been improved, just compare to how it was when we first logged in :)), and following Kevin’s thought, i think that what is really needed is a much more detailed match report. I’m always kinda clueless on what works/what doesn’t in my tactic/matches.
Cheers.
And the Colchoneros accepted it, while proposing another match so we can have it in 2 legs. ;)
Cheers.
I agree. With 3 more European Countries, CL and UEFA would be exciting, but only Arg/Bra for Libertadores is way too little. A CL/UEFA version including all RS countries is definitly needed. Call it Ruby Champions Cup or something like that, and use only each league’s champion. You know, like Champions Cup used to be, when that name had a purpose. Then use until the 5th or 6th place to make a UEFA-like cup. Bring back the Cup Winners Cup. :)
lol good luck bro, you’re gonna need it! Next season Colchoneros are running for the double! ;)
I dont think it’s a priority either, but somewhere along the way that would be nice, just for making it more realistic. :)
I think it depends on what you define as being covered by merchandise. The way i see it, it’s all the team’s stuff that is sold: jerseys, flags, pens, whatever, you name it. Any object that somehow uses your team’s name or logo. If my assumption is right, then the way it is now makes little to no sense.
Before reading this thread i had noticed the slight change of merch income, but always thought it was according to the league position. When the game started i had something like 50k every week, and it gradually went up as the season went further, stabilizing around 100-120k. My team was winning, my position was getting better, so it kinda made sense. Now i realise it was because the players were developing into better ones.
There was one certain tick when i signed 3 free young players, and the following weeks merch was struggling to stay close to 100k. To be honest, it didn’t cross my mind that it had to do with the new players. I remember making the comment with a friend that it was kinda silly that i placed a bet on the future and the fans got mad at me, but thought it was just a coincidence as i was in 4th or 5th instead of 2nd or 3rd as in the previous weeks. :)
After all, the stars were all still there, no one was sold, so everyone could still buy the shirts from their favourite players, with the bonus of being able to buy the ones from the future stars.
I understand that most of what Jah said is to be placed under the sponsors category, like the club’s past results and the club’s history. But i think that merchandise should depend on buying/selling a first team player and the club’s series of results, like the past 3 or past 5, mixing it with the club’s league position. Imagine your team’s on a losing streak and hasn’t won a match in the past 3 matches, and they keep losing league positions due to that. Are you as willing to spend your money on them as you would be if they came from 3 consecutive wins, reaching their league’s first place?
Speaking from my experience, my squad was way too short and its lifespan was quite short, so i had to add squad depth to be able to do friendlies without ruining my first team player’s stamina. Therefore, trying to “build” the stars of tomorrow. I know that, the way it is now, it might pay off if/when the young guys get their stats higher, but in the present the team gets affected with no real reason.
My suggestion, keeping most of the formula you guys have now, is that you do the overall quality average of the starting lineup and not the entire squad. That way you wouldn’t be so affected by getting new players, except if you decided to put them on official matches, and you’d definitly notice if you sold one of your best players.
Just my 2 cents.
Cheers.
I always assumed everyone aged 1 year every season’s first turn… there are specific turns for each and every player, as a “birthturn”?
If you can’t work around the special characters problem, just go with “Assuncao” instead of “Assunção”, im sure everyone will understand. :)
Yes Gabriel, i meant what Jah said. :)
But… i do agree with Jah, that suggestion was just because everyone seems to be complaining about this. I have no idea if on other teams things work differently, but i always manage to have a starting 11 above 90 stamina. With the cups, things will get harder, but no team plays all the matches with the same starting lineup.
The way the game is now, is asking for the cow trading business. We can sign a player and put him on the list on the same tick… with the huge gap between England and the rest of the world, it’s hard not to think of “taking advantage” of the british, getting youngsters at high 70s and selling them cheap right after, most of them are better than the best over there anyway…
What i’d suggest is, since the minimum contract duration is 1 season, make the player stay at the club for at least 6-9 months, it would prevent a lot of cowboys.
Cheers
What was the problem with the cards? Was it the relation to the number of fouls?
Maybe 2 ticks for a player to get to the point where he was before the match would be the ideal, instead of 3. That way, if you had a 100, he played a match and went to lets say 90, he could still play the next tick’s cup match and go to 80… in 2 ticks he’d be 90 again to play the league match.
(these are hypotethic values, obviously)
I was about to ask if Penalty Kick meant what we’re all thinking… because if it does, then they started raining this turn. ;)
On the bright side, i checked more than half of Spanish Div 1 reports and while all matches had tons of penaltys, there weren’t any weird number of shots, i think the most i’ve seen as around 40, which seems to me like a normal number when one team runs all over the other.
Cheers.
Most of my team is in the 90-100 range, if you use the important players only in official matches there shouldn’t be a problem. With cup and european competitions might get harder though.
I’m always up for friendlies.
The best player i’ve seen so far is Napoli’s keeper, a 99, in beta1. Is there any better, or equally better?
Damn, and me thinking someone was pissed at losing against me! :P
Option 4 due to the reasons mentioned above. A new beta imho should be used for a new beginning after some issues are resolved, starting one now would mean more of the same, not really a break through.
I guess someone hacked the formation screen… i get this box saying “mother!”. Click ok and says “f***er!”. And so on and so on until task manager → kill firefox.
Edit: Logged in again and it’s gone. I took a screenshot anyway, if you guys want it. Not that it helps much, since i took an active window screenshot and the active window was only that box. :(
