Hi, i keep getting a “Oops! It looks like there was an error.” everytime i try to enter Fast Ticker. Im probably the only one, as i see there are 13 guys in there. Can you try to figure out what’s wrong with me please? Thanks.

The maximum number of non-youth players a team can have is now 30. Teams with 30 or more players won’t be able to hire another one, even their own youths.

Yeah, I was not planning to allow more than 30 players, could be less also. But I think 30 would be a good start, excluding youths as you said. And I agree that if you can only sign a youth if you haven’t reached the limit.

I think that the maximum number of players would be 30, not counting the youth players
This, because in real life is almost the same
Well, big/top teams have more, but loaned to other teams
Top real teams, that are playing for all the competitions have about 25/28 players, because the cards, injuries, tactics, and so one,,,
When have 30 players, if want to sign a youth, must free transfer one from the squad first.

excellent rules! this brings responsability to the trading actions of all managers. I hope the “bankrupt” and “maximum number of players” comes in soon.

It is working for all players, including those bought before the rule. If someone bought a player before the rule thinking about selling him just a few turns later I don’t see why the rule shouldn’t affect this player. Some other, including myself, have bought some players and regreted or found better ones a few turns later. Unfortunately we’ll also have to wait for the 72 turns before selling them.

It should be nice if the admins set this rule to work right now with all the players, including players bought before the rule.

There are so many cow traders in Fast Ticker, it would be nice see them being punished in some way!

I think it is a good rule, but it should obviously only work for players that were bought since you announced the change, not the ones we bought before…

Due to some changes I did yesterday we had some problems in the last FastTicker tick. Everything is now fixed. The only problem I’ve noticed so far is that improved skills are not being displayed in blue.

If you’ve hired the youth before my changes it is normal, cause the hire date will reflect the date he joined the main squad instead of the date he joined the youth squad. Another possibility is that he asked for a contract before the minimum 72 turns period before selling.

I’m sorry if it is the first option, I also have some youths on this situation, there is nothing we can do but wait :-(

That is really dangerous!
I remember back in Soccersim (2000) I was in Alaves and instead of going out for vacation I got away from the team. And this was after 2 glorious seasons (Spanish champion and semi-final CL).

But in that ocasion I could not get Alaves back again… I got depressed after that for weeks! XD

There is a problem with this improovement : you can not also transfert list the youths that you hired from your own academy
Is it normal ?

If you try to transfer list a player which you’ve hired less than 72 turns ago you’ll see the message “Cannot transfer list player. You must wait half season (72 turns) after his hire date”
