It is working for all players, including those bought before the rule. If someone bought a player before the rule thinking about selling him just a few turns later I don’t see why the rule shouldn’t affect this player. Some other, including myself, have bought some players and regreted or found better ones a few turns later. Unfortunately we’ll also have to wait for the 72 turns before selling them.

It should be nice if the admins set this rule to work right now with all the players, including players bought before the rule.
There are so many cow traders in Fast Ticker, it would be nice see them being punished in some way!

I think it is a good rule, but it should obviously only work for players that were bought since you announced the change, not the ones we bought before…
Due to some changes I did yesterday we had some problems in the last FastTicker tick. Everything is now fixed. The only problem I’ve noticed so far is that improved skills are not being displayed in blue.

If you’ve hired the youth before my changes it is normal, cause the hire date will reflect the date he joined the main squad instead of the date he joined the youth squad. Another possibility is that he asked for a contract before the minimum 72 turns period before selling.
I’m sorry if it is the first option, I also have some youths on this situation, there is nothing we can do but wait :-(

I remember back in Soccersim (2000) I was in Alaves and instead of going out for vacation I got away from the team. And this was after 2 glorious seasons (Spanish champion and semi-final CL).
But in that ocasion I could not get Alaves back again… I got depressed after that for weeks! XD

If you try to transfer list a player which you’ve hired less than 72 turns ago you’ll see the message “Cannot transfer list player. You must wait half season (72 turns) after his hire date”

Hy Danilo and Gabriel, i’ve just saw that I’m out of my team in Fast ticker (Paráná first division Brazil). Before this last update 11:00 Pm, I was asking Eibar for a friendly match. Now that I have seen that I’m out from my team. I really don’t know what happens. Can you help me? I’ve already resigned from Eibar and I’m trying again to manage Paraná, but I don’t know if I’ll be this manage again if someone else try too. Please, I’ve lost hours and hours preparing this team the way it is now, don’t let me lost it!

After hiring a new player you must keep him half season (72 turns) before being able to transfer list him.
Because you have, at some point, used the same computer or network as the Arsenal de Sarandi manager. For us it is the only way to prevent a cheater accessing multiple accounts in a computer or network to trade with himself. Unfortunately that affects friends or relatives that use the same computer or network and are not trying to cheat.
We’ll study a way to make sure people are not trying to cheat and flag them as trusted users.

I kinda agree with you Ricardo. They do develop faster in the beginning, maybe not fast enough in a few cases. But that fast initial period cannot be attached to the skills as you suggest, remember that in the future we’ll have countries where most players won’t reach high 70s/low 80s. :-)
In SS after they turned 19 they would never (ok, VERY rarely) improve another single point, and i used to find that really annoying.
I’m liking this new system, but it’s a lot harder to tell if a player is going to be good or not. I think they could maybe develop a bit faster in the beginning, until they reached high 70s/low 80’s. Aside from that, the system looks pretty nice. :)
Do you see they improve regularly (at least the 16 years old ones)? Every time they improve they will have to play the same number of matches needed for the previous improvement or more to improve again. The main ideia here is that a player usually won’t be at his best with 19 or 20 years old. If they were it would be easier to determine whether a player was worth buying as a promise or not.
I got your point, I used to play MS like you and the improvement system was a bit different. Hopefully ours will prove to be good as well over the seasons, specially with a few more adjustments.

I think it would be very useful a performance chart to see the progress our team had during the season. It could be displayed as a link in the table chart screen or something.
Thinking in a more advanced chart, it could have an option to choose 1 or more teams performance to be displayed in the graphic.

I bought a couple of promising young players hoping that they would improve their skills during the season… specially if they played friendlies.
Well, they played a lot of matches but there was little or null improvement.
One thing is having a played that doesn’t play any matches so it’s logic that he will never get better. Another thing is a 16 or 17 year old player, with an average 65/70 in skills who plays regularly… this kind of player has to improve.
Don’t you agree?

Manchester United was punished at a certain point due to a multiple account user, and the teams he had won or tied got the points lost until that date, but the wins, draws and losses record was not updated. That’s the reason :-)
