RLC: I’d rather give one more season or balancing the existing squads than making a temp screen

Major bug fixed: players who didn’t run a lot during the match were able to run above the maximum allowed as time passed; after fixing that we had less shots (we had way too much in some cases) and less goals from defenders (some people asked me in the past “what the hell was my -1 defender doing in the attack to score a goal?”)

ah, someone noted that I have been tuning around lately :)

as for the side issue, it is polemic. but no matter what random solution we use, some of you will still be unlucky. that sucks.

But I have an idea, will discuss with Gabriel. But what would you guys think if we just let you all choose your team side distribution? the idea is to develop a temp screen and give the manager the ability to choose whatever he wants for his players sides. This screen would be available for enough time for holiday managers to come back before being fired (so they cant say they did not have time to edit their team)

This way, old managers cant complain and new managers cant either, since they will choose whatever team they want. lets see if this is a feasible idea.

Perhaps the best way to deal with the RLC is to give one more season! I can live with my RLC squad but I have very few Rs and a lot of Ls in the back quarter (this explains a few results lol).
Somewhere is written you fixed a major bug, I don’t know what was, but I have never seen such amount of strange statistics in match results!
The 3-3-4 seems to be out of performance and that is good for the game…

I think it should stay the same except in particular cases, like the one mentioned by Jorge. In those kind of cases, i think Jorge should support 100% of the player’s wages.

Hi, I got a similar problem also, I have a player loaned from Genoa, he got injured and was substituted by a player of Genoa instead one of my team.

Getafe is great team! just do not leave!! competition is great and it is hard to make a good team, it is a dare trying to keep competitive, the fact of two must L or D or C is just not important..

We probably won’t have this kind of penalty Samir, if an attacker has greater tackle than shooting you can use him as a defender :-)

Anyway, let’s focus on the side thing here. Just to let everybody know the penalties applied to players in the wrong side are the following:

side L – play ok in L and LC, -1 penalty on C, -2 on RC and -3 on R
side R – play ok in R and RC, -1 penalty on C, -2 on LC and -3 on L
side C – play ok in LC, C and RC, -3 penalty on L and R

These penalties are applied to ALL player attributes during the match. I know it’s not realistic, but it’s pratical and the best thing to do for our logic.

Now that we are clear on what will happen if you put a player in the wrong side let’s go back to votes :-D

I think option 3 is the best (devide equally for each position without checking quality). Also, the option to have a player with multiple positions should be added only for youth. And yes, it should have a bonus in the value of the player. Also, when you guys will give penalties for wrong position, like an atacker playing as a defender?

Well, we’ll probably have multiple sided players in the future, but only for new generated ones. You know, this kind of player will have a greater value, so doing it now would instantly make some players more valuable.

Let’s see which option has more votes and then we can decide exactly what to do.

Ok, we found the problem. Gabriel Piñeira is loaned from Recreativo Huelva, so on our logic we searched for the best attacker on his original team instead of yours :-)

I have searched for that player – it turns out he plays for the Spainish Primera División side Recreativo Huelva.

What on earth is a Recreativo layer doing being substituted for Norwich City? I don’t mind, particularly, since he is better than any of my real strikers! :)

I haven’t been receiving emails from Ruby Soccer for the last few days. I have checked my settings, and I definitely have the “Send real emails for this dimension” option set to “yes”. I’ve checked my spam filtering, both at my ISP and in my email client – I don’t seem to be getting any emails from the game.

Hi ,

Little bug in a match strategie :

I had set a replacement in case of red card with a player which happened in my last game and I had set a "time replacement " with the same player and although this player was already in after a red card , he replace also for the second time a player that was set to go out .
Both strategies are right but if he has entered in the field once, the normal replacement of time should not be possible .

My Team is Norwich City, Medium Ticker, English Premier League.

In the last league game my team played (the first game since setting-up substitution rules) an unknown player was substituted into my team.

I have a substitution rule that says if my team is losing by 1 goal after 80 minues I take off a defender and replace with the “Best Attacker”. In the turn 112 match report the details show that after 80 minutes my defender Gabriel Piñeira was replaced by an attacker called Juan-Pablo Babia. I have no Juan-Pablo Babia in my squad. I have screen shots of my Players list and the Match Report screen:

If it is possible one solution for this kind of problems would be adding the LR, LC, RC and LCR sides. I think it would be more realistic and we would have some more options to change our current squad.

For my team in mediumticker I can live with the situation, but in fastticker it’s not so good.

Fastticker

My team is balanced with 8 R, 8C and 9L.

But when I look to my A-squad it’s not that good.

3 Defenders → ok with some replacements
4 Midfielders → 3x L and 1x R (no single C player)
3 Strikers → 3x L

I’m especially worried about my forwards. 7 forwards in total (2 are loaned) and 2x R, 1x C and 4x L

So I will choose for option 3

Maybe we can’t place our players at the place they had before but then we have some alternatives when a player is injuried or suspended.

It never can be good for everyone but if the sides of the players are well balanced per zone no one can complain.

Well, last night, because here in Macau holidays (chinese new year) i was a little drunk:0
But know and paying attention to the improvements (L,C,R sides) i cannot agree with the way (randoom, sort, lotery,etc) that was made
Because in that way, many strong teams will turn in weak teams
Why? Just because the lucky?
