Rubysoccer is a pretty non-standard app. As you guys can imagine, we have some really high cpu usage, during the tick. So it is normal to have to open a support request to ask for our providers to change us to another machine because our neighboors are also using a lot of cpu – and in that case we just can’t live in the same house.
Maybe now that rubysoccer is starting to get more users (and maybe more donations) we will be able to pay for a more dedicated service. But for now we will continue doing the best we can, I hope we can normalize the situation asap.
We were experiencing problems with our host last week, so we are trying out a new one since Friday. This is not a final decision yet and feedback like yours is important to help us deciding what to do. I agree that the site is not as good as it used to be. :(

The site is being buggy and slow. I just wrote a mail and when I wanted to send it I got an error. I assume the mail wasn’t send out.
I’m getting it more and more these days. that I either have trouble logging in or it is just all very slow. It didn’t use to be like this. Is there anything being done?

same here in medium ticker. When the tick was loading in Fast ticker, the medium ticker after quite some time open a different team…. so far no problems with my squad, if somebody got access to my team….

Yes, this is a very serious security flaw. We are trying to understand what happened, I’ve tried a couple things. We consider this critical but right now we can’t say we can 100% focus on that… :( Sorry for the inconvenience, guys.

Same problem here in medium ticker. The page opened my Torino but when I wanted to see the new groupstages page I got the mailbox of your Bielefeld Danilo.

No, yesterday, when the problem arises, I was at home, just before the problem I received a friendly from this team
International Cups now have a qualifying round and a group phase! It has been asked a long time ago and we’ve been postponing it until we had enough countries, but then we decided that it would be fun to have these rounds right away. Due to this change the competitions will start 12 turns earlier, matches had already been moved. There may be some conflicting friendlies scheduled to the same turn, we’ll take care of that soon. Please let us know if we miss any conflicting match.
It’s an estimate of their market value based on his skills and the transfers being made. It’s only purpose is to give an idea of how much a player is worth. This is used for instance to limit the minimum amount the Board allows you to sell a player (25% of his value or 10% if age > 30).

I was looking my mail, friendlies, and so on in my team and suddenly I was looking another team!!!!! I don’t know why and to change this extrange situation, I had to log out and log in again to get my correct team.

i got one more. but that was in the medium ticker ( and this was the first league match of the season) (but tackling intensity was hard in this case)
I don’t think the reaet is needed, but taxes is OK, because now I have 200M+ and I would better invest it (stadium/PR/players/coaching…) than lose 10-20% on taxes at th end of the season

It shouldn’t be common but I had one player that every other match received at least a yellow card. If things look too exagerated we can review the card system.

The value calculation is dynamic and based in the transfers being made. That said, it’s possible that when your player was generated the overall market value of players was higher than when he improved, so his value decreased.
won’t the problem be that all these loans will only help the big teams? A small team can train a young player very fast (since he is playing officials) and when he’s a star he go’s back to the big club. So…all the power is still with the big clubs.
If the general idea of the new youth system was to balance things out, this isn’t the best of idea’s. There has to be a way small teams benefit more from this instead of just helping out the big teams get good youth going…..
I also think just selecting teams from UC or Cl wouldn’t be totally fair. I think all countries should be involved. For example in my case. There are hardly to no teams of france in any quater or semi final, but I do think teams from there should get the chance to represent there country. Its all in good fun right?
This makes me think about managersim again. There you had an actual world cup. Players playing for there national team. At certain times this was quite annoying since you had for example a cup game at the same time. You then lacked some of your “superstars” for the cup game since they had national duties. It made sure you had to manage your team in the right way in order to win the games and keep track of the stamina of your players.

luc, if you believe a certain player will improve and u want him badly in your team or to sell i think some managers will take that risk. Ofcourse you decide if you do it or not. In my opinion all above suggestions are great, but won’t all these suggestions make bigger teams more powerfull? They can sub earlier in say like champ. league matches when they are ahead by 2/3/4 goals and they will improve faster. Also with the loans, it will make loans more usefull!
