I would like to see games with the best teams berlin, genoa, atletico, recre, benfica……and so many agaist boca, america rn, parana, gremio, cruceiro…..and others…..
We talk about a reset to level things….. i think they getting there, now there is a lot of new strong teams in every ligue…..
If you play the world cup, no need to loose interest in any competition , just need to choose priorities, and most important make sure to hit the market buying to be able to have 2 good squads to fight for as many competition as you can. this will level things… it will create a better chance for small and medium teams to win a competition, !1st goal of anybody new to winning finals!!!!.
a new competition like the world cup will affect in the manager competion and hall of fame. Maybe a new point system will chance, and make national cup to have more than one point for winning it.
I wish more people will post on this forum, most of us will respond yes to a world cup competion, i think..

I think it’s a great idea! But I think it’s not very realistic idea. I mean, in the real world unfortunately we don’t have this word cup. And we have to be carefull, because the real great international Cups (Champions League, Libertadores, UEFA, …) can lose a lot of interest if we create a new Super Cup… It’s a difficult decidion… But anyway, I think it can be good idea to allow to the best teams to play against. I propose something similar to Vicente proposed, the first 8 teams of all the current leagues. But we have to allow a place too for the National teams… Do you remember Managersim? there we have National teams and suddenly we lost players for that international friendlies and Cups… :) Best regards!Javier.
Don’t worry, wage calculation is not related to the player value. When negotiating a new contract he will care only about his current wage and skills. This will be enhanced soon to consider other factors, but the estimated value is not one of them.
Well, I don’t really care personally wether a player of mine is worth 2 billion or 2 million. If i think he is good I’m either buying him or playing him
What worries me is the next time this player wants to negociate a new contract. There was a formula for his wage demand right? It all depends on his previous wage and his current value? I can’t imagine what kind of wage a player will ask with a 2 billion value!!
Another suggestion: consider player potential when updating the formula parameters. In other words, sometimes you pay a lot of money for a 19 years old player because you believe he still has potential to grow, so you’re paying for this potential. This way some millionaire transactions would not be considered inflation by the formula ;)
I’m sorry to inform you guys that it is inflation. I’ve just calculated the exact value using our current formula and the economy parameters from FastTicker, the players is valued at almost 7 billions. On MediumTicker the same player would be worth 11M. Some teams have extra money and pay millions for some regular players. This raises all prices as we’ve discussed when the dynamic value calculation was introduced.
We all know we still have some economy enhancements to work on. I’ve already started working on something but it will take a while until we have enough improvements in this area. If this extremely high values are a problem I can either reduce the formula parameters manually or go back to a fixed formula as we had before. A third option would be no estimated value at all.

I see more teams have it. This has nothing to do with inflation, this is a bug….nothing more. The value increase was instant
Yes javascript is enabled and I’ve reproduced the problem using IE on a second computer.
If you accept the friendly without choosing a formation then the changes are accepted as normal.
If you change the formation it does nothing when you click the green tick (no bouncy ball) and refreshing the page shows that it is still listed as an unaccepted friendly. Once you have tried to select a formation selecting blank again (no formation) also does not work. After trying this, refreshing the page and accepting without choosing a formation works fine.
The problem only seems to occur once you try and use the drop down list to choose a formation. A workaround for IE users is just to accept the friendly without choosing the formation, then change it on the fixtures screen as before.
This is what I call inflation! I know, it’s way unrealistic now. I’ll take a look.
I just wanted to make a post about it! There is something wrong indeed. I have a player who went from 9 mill to 153 million this last tick. How is that possible?
I have a player in Fast Ticker that worths 1.7 billion!!!
He is good, but this value is a bit too much!
This makes it easier to keep “a good behavior” from the forum. But it’s an easy change, if people say it is a problem.

Thanks nsg1974! Is javascript enabled on your IE7? This new version of the friendlies page is totally dependent on that. If that’s not the case we’ll have to investigate.
Searching players is part of the fun but we also don’t want to make it easier on purpose, so you guys feel the need for a scout ;)
As always, we can change that if most of you guys think it’s a good idea.

I normally use the Chrome browser to access RubySoccer, but just now I used IE7 and was unable to accept the friendlies. I didn’t try refusing, or accepting without choosing the formation. Could be a coincidence that this is the first time I had a problem with it, but thought I’d flag up that it could be a browser issue with IE.
By the way, thumbs up to the changes on this page, must easier to use when it works!

i also find player searching myself hard. i think luc means that you should be able to select not only the position to order from up to down but also tackle/passing/shotting/and the rest of the stats.
If i search a player with high control in attack, then i have to order it by position and then try to find the one with the highest control.
And
I believe the reason for the difference between MediumTicker and FastTicker is that the first one requires more patience for player development, the stadiums are smaller so there is less money currently available and maybe even the manager’s style is different between the two dimensions.
You mean in the transfers page? For advanced searches you should have a scouting department. Is that what you meant or did I misunderstood you? :)
Have these ever been reset. Why such a big discrepncy between the two games. eg salaries, player stats etc
Please can you consider the option of selecting the type of player for sale,free or Loan.
Alternative would be the ability to select on the primary or sec stat as you do in the players list window
Makes searching for a specific player so much quicker and easier

One of my substitutions is this: “In any match, after the minute 50, if we are ahead by 3, replace polayer in zone A, side LC e mentality 0 for ….”
I won the match 2-1 but the substitution was done.
The Country Ranking page now has a next season preview table displaying the scores for the following season considering the team’s performance in the current season so far.
Just for the record I’ve already reversed the transaction Hank is referring to. There was also another similar problem reported and solved. If you see something strange feel free to contact us in game or in the forums.
