(pt-br) Confronto direto como criterio de desempate ainda nao foi adotado. Na verdade cada pais tem um criterio diferente, entao resolvemos generalizar para todos como sendo diferença entre gols a favor e gols sofridos, se ainda houver empate, gols a favor. A unica excecao eh o Brasil cujo primeiro criterio de desempate eh numero de vitorias.
(en) Direct confrontation was not adopted yet. In fact, each country has a different criteria, so we generalized for all using goals difference, and if they’re still tied, goals scored. The only exception is Brazil where the first criterion is number of victories.

Just a side note, it would be much easier if this World Cup replaced existing continental competitions, but I know this is not what the majority wants…let’s see.
Well in MT south america there are not many active managers in countries other than Brazil which makes their job easier but believe me Argentina didnt move up the rankings in one day. Yes , crap teams in Paraguay and Uruguay makes the job easier but eventually you have to face ranked 1 Brazilian teams in later stages and you cant get that enough points to move up without beating them. If you look at it that way maybe you will see its not walk in the park.
Anyway i think adding more countries makes this situation worse because now you have more chances facing poor teams in qualifying.
In Fasticker after countries like Russia, Greece and Turkey added didnt it make easier for top dogs to qualify in CL and EL? I dont see any complain there.
And i am all in for World Clubs Cup.

I had been saying for so long than we need to change the countries ranking system, because todays ranking system, gives always Brazil the best youths, so the best players.
But now i noticed in MT than Argentina, with just 5 managers its getting more points than most of the europeans, so the will get the second best youths.
NOT FAIR AT ALL!
I though a world club´s cup will be implement, but so long i stopped dreaming.
Now something have to be done, hope soon.

I did also choices that made me regret later.
Bottom line is you cant keep them all and you did and will fire someone with great potential .
i really like this aspect of the game, you can only make educated guesses but you can never be sure.

People have been asking how they can help adding new countries to the game, and some have already helped. I’ve decided to create this topic to explain in detail all we need before adding a new country so those who want to help have a guideline. Keep in mind that from now on all leagues will have 20 teams, no matter how many teams they have in real life. You can provide as many leagues as you want for a given country, as long as they all have 20 teams. This is the current continent priority: South America, Europe, North America, others. This is what we need:
1) Country name
2) League(s) name. E.g.: Série A and Série B / Premiership and Divison 1 / Super Lig and Ligi A
3) National cup name. E.g.: Copa do Brasil / DFB Pokal / FA Cup
4) Teams names, 20 per division
5) Teams logos. If you could send logos with transparency, in png format with dimensions 25×25 (or anything x 25 like 18×25, 20×25, 23×25) we would really appreciate. If you don’t know how to transform the logos you find to this format you can send in whatever format you have and we’ll adjust it.
6) A list of common first names for this new country (it can be a simple text file with one name per line)
7) A list of common surnames for this new country (same format as above)
Send it to admins at rubysoccer dot com. The more information the better. If you can’t provide all 7 items in the list make sure you send at least items 1 to 5. There is no guarantee your country will be added in the following season, but we guarantee it will be added at some point.
These are the countries we already have either in the game or almost ready to go: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, England, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy, France, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland and Mexico.
Before you start working make sure to check and post in this topic which country you will be researching, so that 2 people don’t end up sending info for the same country.

I think no countries for next season, I’m busy working in the match engine now. I still have data for Switzerland, Sweden and Colombia. It doesn’t mean you cannot help! I will create an official topic to make it clear how people can help with new countries.

I think the need is to balance the number of teams in the continent, as I said in the previous section, we need more teams in south america with that Brazil would lose jobs and even the race for ranking points would be more interesting, another fact also With fewer places for international competitions in the country’s leaders were increasingly looking to improve their teams, which would also interesting to dispute the championships.
i think that we sould´nt have new coutries for now, at least wihle we don´t have more players. leagues like portugal, spain, brasil are competitives because they are almost completed. make new coutries to have 3 or 4 players it´s a bad choice…and will always “stole” players for the others legues, make them less competitive.
