First and second in the country ranking have equally good youths, third an fourth countries’ youths have, in the average, 1 point less on each skill, fifth and sixth have 2 points less per skill in the average when compared to top 2 countries and so on. Maybe we could increase the size of the group, reducing 1 point in each skill every 3 positions in the ranking, instead of 2.

Don’t think the Club World Cup is a good idea either..

If you want to balance out the big differences between countries the thing that has to change is that the highest nation gets the best youth.. This keeps the difference alive! I don’t say there should not be difference at all but I mean the best 4 countries have youth with the same potential. I don’t know how it is arranged at the moment but I think this is the reason.

I don’t think WCW is the answer, since this would be un-realistic.
lets just think about it, I am sure that the plan for RS is to have all the countries in the World???? (am I right?, or at least the most popular ones) so lets think about the future…….. lets say…. 2 year from now….. hey its 2012!!!!!! RS now has 20 countires from europe (UEFA_), 10 countries from South America (CONMEBOL_), 9 countries from North America (CONCACAF_), 9 countires from Asia (_AFC), 10 countries from Africa (CAF)…. lets say there are international competitions in all these countires (like in real life) you have UEFA Champions, Libertadores, CONCACAF Champions, AFC Champions League, and CAF Champions League, the winners of these competitions are the only ones that con compete in the CWC that would be 5 and there could be 1 more team added to the list, every year this competition will be held in a different country and the winner of the league will have the right to be in that competition as well (LIKE IN REAL LIFE!!!!!).
If the current International competition is kept the way it is we can have a FAIR ranking and fair (and real) competition.
ok in real life you have a “Club World Cup” and in this tournament only the winner of the “continental” competition has the right to play it. I think that in a future if more teams are added things will balance out. and I do not think that changing the current format of international competition to a CWC where a lot of teams compete will help eather, because in the future this will have to be changed again.

sorry for the spelling

I’m not so sure about best x best and worst x worst, it would remove some good clubs in early stages of competition. The only way to improve the country ranking is the club world club with all countries.

I don’t think restriction of prices is a good thing either. It takes away freedom from the manager to sell and buy players according to his needs. Not to mention that some players are valued way too high despite their performance on the pitch which is the real thing that matters.
And as I said before, I am surprised of the insistance right now, for the simple fact that this is a Buyer’s Market right now!!! A lot of players worth 10+ million are all being sold at face value right now. And don’t forget, if there’s demand, even the most expensive dude will be sold. If there is no demand, the expensive dude will have to get his luxury tag down :)

I don’t think a restriction on transfer prices is what we need. It will affect the transfer market in a bad way! In real life some players get sold for too high prices too! The market has to try to regulate itself.

My prediction is when less good players end up on free transfer.. Transfer prices will begin to rise but go to a normal level when nobody is getting their players sold! Even the more managers playing this game means a more normal market..

@Davison: Don’t think we are whineing.. When we underpin our opinion well it’s just help for the creators!

em quase tudo os paises o desempate é feito primeiro pelo confronto directo e depois e diferença entre golos.

could be adopted a mechanism in which players with face value of over 5 million may not be released from their clubs, even if the contract is over, the automatic renewal to occur.

for the trnasferencias between Blakpool and Bayer were friendly, one was reversed, the other must also be reversed and the leaders lose time.

the new countries should have a bigger stadium when it was added and the existing country should have a ceiling of occupation, for example, 65 thousand people, al the teams that are above that number could be recovered from the decline of the stadium

As had already commented earlier with Gabriel, to even the playing field should be the opposite of what is done now, the best youth teams should go to the worst ranking well in the near future could balance the condition of playing the game, should also determine how actually a fixed number of teams that participate in competitions, even though the ranking is down to Uruguay for example can have 2 direct jobs and 2 more by quality, to become even better could increase the number of teams participating in these international cups, also in time of the qualifying criterion for the selection of the clashes should also be the reverse, the best would play with the best and the worst of the worst, independently of the country.

thank you gabriel

i know you dont enjoy our whineing but its just frustrating for those that are being responsible with our teams and realistic

maybe also have a restriction on transfer prices
what i mean is

that you cant sell a player for 10 or 15% more than hes worth
but in order to have that inplace we need to fix the estimated value

Davison and Paradokus, that’s exactly what we are planning to do. Instead of waste our time reversing transfers and players fired we will make the board more strict when it is obvious the player shouldn’t leave the team, unless the team is low on money.

I agree with Davison on the point that too many great young players get on free transfer! Their carreers get ruined because of the high wages by some teams that pick up every player they can.

The board should protect their club by automatically renew the top 5 best players of the team their contract! Not when they are very old offcourse…

Building a solid team is first of all EASY and second of all it takes around 5 years. If you take more the you are probably doing it wrong

I picked Valenciennes at the end of season 28 in D2 with only 9 million in the bank. I am about to complete my 6th season with Val and I can perhaps put the best 10 outfielders on the pitch in all RS with an average of 942.4 pts per player. Out of those 10, five are homegrown (recruited young, for free or for cheap prices), the other 5 have been bought in the last two seasons. 3 of those 10 are still growing :)

In these 6 seasons:
Sold players: 24 players for 266 million
Bought players: 14 players for 140 million
Profit from sales: 126 (21 mill per season)
Purchased on free or fired players don’t count
Coaching: Always Level 10

Getting Players
The best way to build a team is to start from scratch. Assign yourself 3-4 to seasons where all you do is raise kids and don’t look at the results.
Season 1-2 are the most important as you build your base. Don’t spend money, there are plenty of options on the free or great bargains for less than 1 million.
Season 3-4 you drop the weak links and refresh the roster with better prospect.
It all depends on how good you are at spotting talents, but chances are if you keep searching at least once a day (2 weeks of game play) then you will find players you are looking for

Playing the Players:
For kids to get best exposure to experience point is to play both official and friendlies. Create two separate teams, each team plays once every two turns, hence each player will play half the officials and half the friendlies in a season (as I said, results and stamina are not important)

By season 3 you start making money selling prospects you don’t like for various reasons. Just don’t be greedy with prices. When you sell, always replace them with another youth for free or for a lesser price.
By season 4 you can start fighting to get to premier league of your country because you know that all you players are improving and when you get to top division in seasons five, you will comfortably be a mid table team safe of relegation.
Season 5 is when you start buying full grown players to fill those holes you couldn’t with your youth.
Season 6, you are an established team: You should have a line up able to compete in 3 competition, able to fight at the top of the table, lots of prospects near completion and plenty of players you can sell in return for better options.

implement something where the board wont allow you to get rid of star players like that untill a certain age if under contract or unless its end of contract….but this is cheating i feel

who ever releases a 27 fing years old epic player ?

tell me who and ban them from the game or reverse it

im sorry but if its not due to a computer managed team releasing a young player like that with excellent skill
then its cheating in my book

who the fuck is this rob love dude that the player came from whos ranked 120 or something.

i demand that this is reversed

personally i think priority right now next to match engine is free transfer
now if a manager cannot afford to keep a player thats one thing
but to have a manager leave a team as a pile of over payed shite then start to do the exact same thing is to me one of two things

1) hes a shit manager and shouldnt be allowed at big clubs
2) hes a cheater

I think saying “there is no progress in the game” is not fair. Updates like age and stamina effecting players performance are excellent for example . How about press box and auto friendly scheduling etc. I am optimistic that game will improve drastically after some fixes, especially with CWC. We just have to be a little more patient as free users.

What i see is than today is much harder to build a top gun Team, Before was much easier because youths grow faster than today. I build a much greater Getafe than the one i have today and it is not eassy to level all aspects, stadium, staff dep., sales and buys….. i hated because i have a worst team than before, BUT i think it makes it much better and a real competition. Now, unknown teams win tittles, big teams fall down…. so thats good, thinks changing from one season to another. Before it was always the same team wining tittles or getting to finals.

fix is need it in all aspects, but for me the fun will came with the world club cups and some improvements.
What i hate is new countries, unless you open (i mean start) it when at least 5 managesr apply to join than league. lack of competition just make it so boring…..
also i agree with Filipe but also i understand everything else……
