This is for anybody who wants to help. Besides the list of first and second division teams we’d need images for the team logos (any size and format will do it, we can adjust it…unless you want to do that for us which would be appreciated), name of divisions and national cup. Remember we’d like to have 20 teams per division in all countries in the future, so we’d need 40 teams to make 2 divisions. If the suggested country has less than 20 teams per division it would be necessary to pick some from the third division so we could make it.
We could move back to the old engine while things don’t get fixed, if that’s for the best.
Exactly Nirabdha, CPU teams don’t deal with loans yet so Davison, unfortunately they will ignore your requests instead of evaluating whether or not to accept it :(

I’ve looked at your tactics and it is almost right, except that instead of selecting a player in side ‘C’ you should pick ‘LC’ or ‘RC’, since you don’t have an attacker on A C 0. There are 5 columns representing the sides, from left to right they are L, LC, C, RC and R. If you have any more doubts you can check our Team Setup help, Formation Strategies section:

I understand there are some divergences between some of our users and that we are not as effective as we could when it comes to investigate cheaters. Sometimes we may leave people unpunished, sometimes we may punish the wrong person…we do what we can with the time and help we have. One thing I’m sure, things can only get better.

It is happening cause players tend to run towards the goal more often if their path is free of opponents. I believe having more goals by defenders and midfielders is a good thing, but it may be exaggerated right now. The statistics for season 32 are not that bad, look:
Attackers: 35916 goals
Midfielders: 10204 goals
Defenders: 2726 goals
Isn’t it reasonable? :)

There will be more fixing, the match engine changes were not completely done, I just decided to release what I already had. Financial will have to wait until the extended club world cup is done, since I promised this before :D
It is the unfair way…even though I don’t see why it is unfair since ticket income is split on friendlies :)
If wage and period are the same, the next criteria is worst club in terms of player quality, since it means a higher chance of being in the first team.
For now it won’t set any specific formations, so if you don’t set it up it will use the default. We need to add a way to mark a formation as default for friendlies :P
In fact it will not send invitations, but create 48 friendly matches for you on season start, on turns 1, 4, 8 (7 is cup), 10, 14 (13 is cup), 16, 19 and so on.
New option available on manager settings: “Schedule friendlies on season start?”.
Using this option friendlies will be scheduled automatically for your team on a new season start, the same way done for CPU teams. Your opponent will be randomly picked between CPU teams and other managers who also marked this new option and will be the same on all matches. There will be 48 matches scheduled, 1 every 3 turns.
I wouldn’t worry about losing points, looks like a match report position display issue rather than a match positioning problem.
@Nirabdha: sometimes strikers run backwards to try and find a better position for a shot.
@Dhimitri: I agree with you, just a correction, it’s FastTicker and MediumTicker, I know you’re using ManagerSim names :D
Midfielders are shooting more because they tend to run towards the goal and try a shot when there is nobody marking them.
You should blame the freaking cheaters for the addition of the 1 player fired per tick rule :)
Unfortunately more restrictive rules shall come.

The problem with the league table would be the size of the space…not sure if it would fit in any of the sizes we have.

Interesting, sounds reasonable.
We already had shots deflected by the goalkeeper, now the ball can hit or be intercepted by a defender on a shot. That’s the difference.
Even though there is still a lot to do in the match engine I decide to release a package of changes:
- decision to shoot depends on how many players are between the attacker and the goal, since now the shot can be intercepted
- players are more aware when the path to the goal is free so they can decide to run instead of passing the ball
- defenders will try to stay close to attackers when opponent has the ball
- players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead
These changes are already in place. Please give your feedback in the improvements discussion topic.
