this 300k wage is not a failure of the system, but the lack of managers quality to value a players wage to acquire him against other teams from free transfer list.
I’m curious please name some of these 300M transfers. The highest i’m aware of was 150M. Some are listed for more, but not sold for that amount.

i agree with Alban. i play with 5 midfielders with shootong skills from 80 to 87. They scored 10 goals out of 200. so just around 5%.
Of course it always should depends on the shooting skills of the MA’s. So in my case, i woud expect a lot more, like 40 goals (20%)

new loaning clauses: will matches that players misses due a red card suspension counted as a “1 missed official match”? It shouldnt be b/c it’s probably not the managers fault/will.

Nothing, in any way of the game, should be too predictive. But some core of the logic (income, player skills, improvement, etc.) need to be pre-adjusted, and that’s what we were talking about – for the the “improvement logic”

but currently it#s even harder to recover. the groups matches are every 3 turns …
anyway. i think bigger teams (who wanna compete succesfully in many competions) have to deal with that stress. That should be part of the game: the challenge to deal with participating and playing competitions simultanous.

i don’t know if it’s just me, but i would prefer to start with the international matches earlier in the season. so there’d be the “international” athmosphere not just at the season end.
At the moment CL starts on turn 89 with qualifying. why not start the CL-season right after the cup finals ~t58? (with a bigger pause between group phase and round of 16) or at least on t74 (group matches 83,89, 95, 101, 107, 113).

what do you think?

to underline my opinion of a higher improvement in the first years i’d like to do an example:
- a 16yro youth starts in your academy with 70 in shooting
- let’s say he has 20 points potential (at the end he’d be 90 in sho)
- with training, friendlies and some official matches he improves 60% of his potential in the first 4 years: with 20yro he would have 82 in shooting
- the last 40% potential points he earns in the next 4-6 years (24-26yro)
- exceptions (~1-10% of all generated players) from the norm could be: reversed improved (strong improvement when gets older), improvement till 30 yro, no improvement after 20yro, etc …

in summary: that’s not too much improvement in the first years, but they still would reach a decent skill level to support a minor club etc. – isn’t that more realistic?

i don’t think that it should depend on status (youth academy) but on age.
[players get released from academy on random factors and not based on their achieved improvement points, right?]

wasn’t it 1 point for friendlies, 2 for cups, 3 for league … ?
currently i’m ok with the improvement of players. Did you already implement a higher and faster impovement rate for younger player under 20 yro?

what’s the definition of youth players? (academy, >22yro, ..)
Experience points after a match: 2x points fro every type of match, e.g. friendlys now 2 instead of 1 point, cup 4 instead of 2, league 6 instead 3 … ?

I’d go with Javier:
group phase costellation bases on past seasons performance and final stage bases on current season performance (the group phase)

as far as i know, there is no income share in RL. there is just a fixed budget of tickets reserved for visiting team fans. why should a visiting team $-benefit from an official away game?

there are way too much great player on each position in the fast ticker game. that’s not a result of the faster development process we had for some seasons.

there should be a a much wider range of players quality (fully developed).

my first guess…
% of players at one moment in the game fully developed in their main skill, all ages (approx. number of players in a gameworld with 8 countries & 2 divs each):
~1% (30)… 95-100
~3% (60)… 90-94
~6% (120)… 85-89
~10%(300)… 80-84
~20%(600)… 75-79
~25%(750).. 70-74
~35%(1050).. <70

differations/balancing depending on country ranking (brazil more, usa less 95+ etc.)

in general: should grow faster in the first (3) years, slower (less) in the next years …
in ~1-5% of the cases much faster (and reverse: slower) progress should be normal

international group stages: superb!
but have you already taken care
- that not 2 or more teams from 1 country join in a group
- the groups are balanced (not a group with 4 top ranked teams) via club ranking points
?

the calculations might need some adjustment …

my home matches:
league match against bottom of table: sold out (53.000)
CL return match (2×3 away): not sold out (49.391)

I’d rather understand when league matches don’t attract too many people …

haha, in ft i lost a friendly by 0×19 because my goalie had a 0.0 rating. what happened there, was he absent from work or reading a book meanwhile or ….?

i don’t know if it’s a bug, or i should suggest to have the tactic option for substitution based on ratings.

hi again. i reconsidered my thoughts and those of some others and like to make a 2nd post.

to be honest, the more i think about a reset the less i’m convinced of its necessity.

what are the merits of it?
if there too much money, take some out it, 50% of each club capital. and adjust the income sources & wages.

if there are too many 95+ players, below 22yro, reduce all players skills 10points (they would be still interesting to be transfered). in ~ 6-7 seasons the new generated youths can compete with the rest and then grow even further.

Even if there are many great 95+ young players, they are not in 3-4 teams they are spread out. And teams with lower main skilled players have their chances with better tactics and the usage of well balanced player (e.g. benfica, brest in FT).

there are no stadium that is already too big. and it’s all build correctly in long terms, not just the last 3 seasons. just the stadiums from cpu teams should be reduced, because they were increased immense just to spend the surplus.

… What do you think?

I would agree on a partial reset. Just because there are too many young super-naturals, and no one wants to wait ~12 seasons till they’re out.
But before a reset is done, some issues should be fixed. Otherwise the moaning about “balance” in the game starts in 10 seasons again …

for now i just want to point out some thoughts on the finance sector:
What are the biggest complainings here? Some team have too much money? How is this, my team in fast ticker is one of the best and should be the top level for income, right? With all incomes per year, minus the player wages (low for me) and departments, i make a surplus of ~25M a year. That’s not too much, it’s just enough you need for buying a good but not world class player.

So some teams have much money, but i suppose mainly because they are good sales men. And this wont be changed by a reset.

If there is too much money in game in general, why is that so? Do get the cpu-teams too much or the minor teams or anything else? If not be solved before a reset, the situation in the game will be in season 15 the same, again. And there will be the complainings again: the next reset?

Ruby is still in a test modus, but anyway those managers who stick with teams for long time, are not keen on losing them just for foreseeable scenarios of the game.

… but there also should be some new income sources:
- tv broadcast I: cash for all teams of a league, depending on the nations ranking and the league table position (champion gets most, relegated teams the least)
- tv broadcast II: for reaching round of 16, quarter, semis and the final should be a bonus paid to the participating teams (for national cups and international aswell, increasing by rounds)
- contract clauses: “re-selling”-percent, when a player you sold gets transfered again you get e.g. 1% of the new trasfer fee; this could be selling contract option

… currently money an come from sponsors, merchandising, tickets and sales. the first three sources should be depending on your teams performance. selling player is the most direct way to generate cash.
but all sources have in common, that you need a capable players (for your strategy). And the acquisation & development of players is essential. The first years you might need to sell some of your best newbies for building up a stock.
I think some manager just lack some patience and persistency.

probably there are some rich and less very rich clubs, so what? Like in real life football.
We have to get specific in an economic discussion here, what the goal shall be …

… e.g. wealth for all
… proportional bonus payments for all league teams (participation)
… award winning bonus payments
… tbc

i mean it’s always easy to say the rich ones getting richer, the small teams don’t stand a chance to develope, etc. That’s too narrow minded imov. With some effort everyone has a chance to get big here.
But i agree that the economic system still needs some adjustment.

Loaning will become valuable, that’s good. But as a manager you wanna loan players to adaquate teams and reliable magagers. Therefore the last decision about the team to be loaned to should stay in the hand of the players manager. So this process shouldn’t be totally automatic.

Later, if a recall is reasonable (loaned player doesnt play), there should not be a penalty fee paid. In other cases the fee should be kept.

and, will this just take effect from then on new generated youths only? In case: How is the further increasement of existing players planned?
