yes, that is correct. but as we had an error on the national cup this time, i am taking a different approuch (just for this season). if I have time later today, i will try to change that.

My team on Beta 1 is Marilia. I was promoted last since to first division in Brazil. The thing is, me and the rest of the promoted teams are still gonna need to play round one of the national cup? This round is just for second division teams right?

I have just seen that I have typed a wrong wage for my top defender:
250 000 instead of 25 000. I know it’s my fault but is it possible to change that. If this is not possible I have to sell or fire him.
I only want to suggest that you can do something for this problem.
Maybe the team board that doesn’t allow a wage that’s too high for value of the player. Then my problem isn’t possible anymore.

Trying to see last season standings in Italy Division 1 and gave me a beast error.

Yes Gabriel, that’s what happen. I had accepted this player propose just to check this bug, and now I am negative.

well, right now it is not organized based on any important criteria. but after the first matches, the table will be ok again, as it will have data enough to use the regular criteria.

history is good, but i think what i said makes total sense. Notice that the league table isnt organized by previous performance nor alphabetical order. I dont know how its currently organized…

unfortunetely the national cup games were not generated (already entered a bug). as a workaround for this season, the same teams that were in the dispute on last season will be again. sorry guys.
yes :). but we already have something in that way: you can click on the “previous season” link on the bottom. there you will be able to see all the data regarding last season (it is a kind of history). of course that our idea is to present the champions in the first page and each team’s last positions (on the each team history screen).
i think our solution will please you guys. note that there is a link on the bottom left of the league table. if you click on that, you can see the previous season data.
agreed , since the beginning our plan was to show, at some point, the full match report. of course that this report is expensive (disk usage), so it will only be available for a few ticks.
when gabriel come back we sure will discuss our priorities and see where that can fit, but i can tell you right now that the only thing we are missing is a good interface to show it (and we think that would take some time). of course, we also were planning to, before that, finish some tweaks on the match.

Now that the first season is almost done (and so many things have been improved, just compare to how it was when we first logged in :)), and following Kevin’s thought, i think that what is really needed is a much more detailed match report. I’m always kinda clueless on what works/what doesn’t in my tactic/matches.

Do you already have a team history for last seasons results added/planned?
I mean you could see the wins, draws, losses, points and position of your team for past seasons.
Sorry I´ve been quite busy lately so I´ve not had that much time to browse around the game and read these forum posts so I may have missed a few things/suggestions.
yes. :) i have prepared the structure to implement competitions history. during the season tick i will populate the database for the results we had, but the UI for that will be implemented later this week.
will you be implementing something new during this season tick?

first of all, thank you very much for your feedback.
About your point, i think we can say that you are right, but you also are not. You are right because the lack of manager options for the team setup is really creating situations where a person that doesnt do much can do well on the championship.
But you also are not right because the formation screen we have right now is very flexible and can generate a good number of “match scenarios”, which take a good amount of time to be fully explored.
Anyway, this is one of our biggest challenges: to give more strategy/tactics options. This is for sure on our plans, along with match improvements and other new features.
I hope you have fun during this beta, and keep giving us feedbacks!

Before I make my post I want to be very clear that I am NOT complaining. This is a fun game and well put together. And even better, it’s free even if that’s temporary. So I want to say it’s a good game and fun to play, and congtrats to the creators.
However, basically all I’ve done in my entire time as manager is set my squad. I’ve literally not attempted to sign players or change my tactics, not once. And I’m third in the Premiership (Everton in the second beta world). It just seems a bit off to me in that I’m more successful than a bunch of managers when I haven’t really done anything at all.
Like I said it’s not a complaint, and my relative inactivity isn’t due to not having fun, rather not being able to log in for every tick. It’s just constructive criticism of what I think is a game with pretty darn good potential. I hope no one takes it the wrong way.
