yes, that is a great idea. we were discussing that a while ago, but it seems that the time where that will be a must is approuching quickly.
Great idea! This was the way Soccer/ManagerSim used to purge players from the system. This has to be fixed soon because you’ll eventually have hundreds of players rotting away and slowing the game down…
Thanks for fixing the problem Danilo. Would you mind looking at my other players because I think they’re affected as well… For example, my striker Bivar was at 100 stamina when the season began and he’s now at 81 stamina despite only having played ONE friendly game. I have other players that have that same exact problem.

agreed, minimum of 6 months before re-selling should be implemented
With all the new releases onto the ‘contracts market’. It seems like the transfer, (pay a fee), market has stalled and gone stale.
One suggestion would be to only allow a player to be on the contracts market for a set time, (30 turns, 21 turns ?), before they are removed from the game and vanish. If clubs dont have to buy players because they can get them for free on the contracts market, lots of clubs economies will suffer as they cant sell a body to raise money when they need to.

It seems that your player is one of the most affected by a bug that i just found. It is not a bug related to stamina. What is happening is that your player played a few games for other teams (ugh!). This is a very particular situation, and it only happens when someone plays with an incomplete formation.
We will fix this bug but, in the meanwhile, Andre Peres stamina is now 60.
i have to check because this particupar snippet was done by Gabriel, but I am almost 100% sure that this is random and, in that case, it is just bad luck :). i will confirm tonight.
of course that we will keep improving the match engine (there is a LOT to do). but it is like Toni mentioned: when you see a large score, usually the reason is simple. youths x regular players, no goalkeeper, etc. but keep reporting if you see strange things happening!

His stamina is now at 13… I mean how is it possible to lose 16 points in one tick without even playing?

Yeah, I think it will help enough on this matter when a system is added that prevents selling too soon after buying the player. Maybe half a season or 3/4 of a season would help a little.
I´m not sure about all those results but I checked one high scoring result and noticed there were no goalkeepers in the other team at all.
Well, that is probably not the case in all those matches but anyway…
My player André Peres from São Paulo in Beta 1 has his stamina at 29 despite not having played any friendlies for at least 6 ticks. I originally removed him from the lineup when his stamina was at 47 thinking that not playing would increase it back to “normal” levels but this hasn’t been the case… On the contrary, its gotten worse without having played.
Don’t get fooled mates. It’s just that Kevin is a natural born manager so no need for him to sweat it much ;)
Hey good job lads. Let’s see where this game goes. I already had to play my first game against Mr. Newman in b2 with me and him having a superold rivalry, and he always has a way of making me seem like a third rate manager :(
Just a question on how Youth players are ‘developed’.
Every time I offer a contract/release a player I seem to get another midfielder. I can understand that it is mostly because I have midfielders in my youth squad – currently 5 out of 6- but there is no way they can all be part of my team- and if I keep removing them does it mean I am only going to get Midfielders for the rest of the time? Will I never get a decent young keeper/defender? Will I have to sell my youths once they are part of my squad to get new blood in defense etc….
Has there been a change to the game logic to make scoring in games more likely?
This last turn saw a 13-1 scoreline in my leage (Beta 1, England, Division 2), and the turn before that 10-0 and my own team won 8-0.
I’m not complaining if my team is winning 8-0 lots, but it does seem rather unrealistic – all these high scores. How often does a real team score as many as seven in a game? It might happen once in the Premier League every souple of seasons.

Just bought a couple of players, and it looks like by the time I get my next home game I’ll have negative money.
What will happen?
Added competition history. Now you can view the latest champions for each competition. Soon will add more history stuff to team/manager screen.
for now I will do 2 things:
1) ask everybody to have fun without cheating. later in the BETA we WILL ask some of you guys to try to cheat, as we will be developing mechanisms to prevent it (we already have something, but not active yet).
2) promise that if we receive many complaints about a particular manager, his ip/manager_id will be banned for a while. we want everybody to have fun and embrace fair play, and we will try to guarantee both.
