Hello all.
Is there any rule for firing managers for inactivity? Because I have the suspicion that many managers
hardly every manage their teams. Shouldn’t these managers be fired?
This was just a thought. I have some friends waiting for a team in beta 1 for quite some time.

in div2 the price could be less expensive but even then, they have to get less atendance than div1 clubs… just what i think!

i agree… there are too many 99’s 100’s 98’s and so on… the game started one season from now and there are fantastic players, they should appear much more rarely!

It’s a good idea, atleast it will solve the stadium problems for now.
on a long term, it should be like in socsim with improvement plans for the stadiums.
for now (and it’s still a beta version) i prefer your suggestion danilo, to give all teams the same stadium size, but with different ticket prizes depending on div 1 or 2.

Yes, the improvement in the Div2 youths is welcome, but not sufficient. I’ve only had 2 or 3 youths promoted since the game started and none of them with stats better than 70s. Not only will it take a long time for this to take effect, they still can’t compare with the Div1 teams who got relegated from Div1 buit still have players all with stats in the 90s or 100!
I think its too late to address this now as there is already such a gap in quality. It won’t be resolved until the game is reset, but I think you should look at lowering the starting stats for senior players in Div1 teams next time the game starts.
It’s not just the relegated teams getting big scores though. It seems that recent changes in your match engine have led to high scoring matches everywhere in general! It’s just happening every single game for those teams.

we will never be able to play this match but It’s in scheduled matches and I can select a formation to play.

for now, while we dont have a way to improve the stadium, everybody will have a number of seats, like 48000. The difference between the divisions will be the ticket price, which will be 20% cheaper on the 2nd. what do you think?

dont worry :) you wont be able to buy new players, thats all. bankrupcy will take a while to be implemented, we need the board first (and that will also take a while).
rubysoccer is alive for 1 month! I think we managed to develop a lot for just 1 month, but there are still TONS of things to do.

I have made this topic sticky, in order to discuss match results (high scores, for example). Before you post on this subject, please search for whatever we already have discussed about it on other topics (it would be good if someone summarize that here).
Also, when you report a problem, please give the richest description you can. We have been receiving complaints about scores (say 6×0, for example), and when we go check the situation the problem sometimes is simple (very bad/no goalkeeper, youths x regular players, etc).
This is one of the most important discussions in the game, lets make the best of it so everybody can enjoy/“contribute to” the evolution of our match engine!
yep, those problems are challenges. we will fix asap, but please notice that our working hours are not cooperating lately.
Also, it is not enough to take a look only at the numbers in general. Each case is a different one. Take for example “Remo”, on beta1, brazil, second division. The manager in this case sold out all his goalkeepers (!!!!). I´ve already warned him that we currently have a situation where, if you dont have any goalkeerpers at all and no one is assigned to be a gk on the formation, the game will not complete that position for you. The result: Remo is playing without a goalkeeper. The consequence of that is obvious.
So the word is: we do need to improve those components. But we need to be careful to analyze each case, as sometimes big numbers do have very good reasons.

Im in Beta 2, not Beta 1 (Norwich City 0 – Scunthorpe 5) haha the last game I won 6-0…….its all very unrealistic really.

Another thing that remains unreal is the number of fouls and players with rating 10!
well guys, there are still too many goals in the game, 2 games so far and there is in spain a top scorer with 12 goals… unrealistic… or a team with 16 goals scored in two games!
we certainly have to improve these components!
other thing i noticed is that there is a team named SEVILLA II in division 1 in spain. i previously thought it refered to betis but i was mistaken…
which team is this one?

another thing that may be missleading is that on the team history table, you see the history for each one of the players. but the number that you see there is the individual statistic for each player. So if you see “7 games played” for example, it doesnt mean that those were all played for your team. Those are the season numbers for your player (summarize his numbers for all the official matches he played, for all teams).
That is another point where I am counting on your feedback. Is it better to show only the statistics of that player for your team, if you are on the team history screen? I dont think so. But that is only my opinion, I want to hear our community voice.
this player was bought from blackburn hovers, on turn 22. He scored those goals for his previous team. He can continue to be the top scorer of a competition, even if he is not playing on it anymore :)
It would be a mess to show the team for which the player scored each one of the goals because, potentially, a player can play for a lot of teams during the season. So I decided to show only the club that the player is playing for right now. That may be a little missleading. But i count on the feedback from you guys to suggest better approuches :)

well, on one side we have that gap. from the other side, teams that are in the first division and have less money will have problems to match the other teams. i will think about making all stadiums size equal for a given country. lets see. :|
In Beta 1, England, Division 2, the “Top Scorer” in the league is with a team playing in Division 1!
The player has scored 16 goals, but when you look at the division 1 table, the team he plays for has only scored 2 goal in total.
I think this is unfair!
So if i’m in a 2nd division i’ll keep a smaller stadium? So i’ll have less money to buy players? Why?
That will enlarge the diference between the clubs, including what concerns contracting new players!
