Has there been a change to the game logic to make scoring in games more likely?
This last turn saw a 13-1 scoreline in my leage (Beta 1, England, Division 2), and the turn before that 10-0 and my own team won 8-0.
I’m not complaining if my team is winning 8-0 lots, but it does seem rather unrealistic – all these high scores. How often does a real team score as many as seven in a game? It might happen once in the Premier League every souple of seasons.

i don’t see the need to ban this transfer policy. it’s just: sympathize with it or not.
Competition history for national cups shows me the Spanish champion in every country now.

Whats the procedure for going bankrupt?
Just bought a couple of players, and it looks like by the time I get my next home game I’ll have negative money.
What will happen?
Added competition history. Now you can view the latest champions for each competition. Soon will add more history stuff to team/manager screen.
for now I will do 2 things:
1) ask everybody to have fun without cheating. later in the BETA we WILL ask some of you guys to try to cheat, as we will be developing mechanisms to prevent it (we already have something, but not active yet).
2) promise that if we receive many complaints about a particular manager, his ip/manager_id will be banned for a while. we want everybody to have fun and embrace fair play, and we will try to guarantee both.

Think 28 is too low…..maybe like 40. I used to have 35-40 players constantly(including youth) when playing managersim.

the plan is not to make that limit a fix number, but to limit that using the board and other stuff, like a kind of morale, as you mentioned.
in the end, to have many players need to be a disadvantage for the manager, not an impossibility.
In real life there are teams that can use that strategy : to buy the players so the others won’t have them…
And after, they just borrow the players to other teams, and that facilitie we don´t have for now, and i think it would be usefull.
Limiting the number of players for each team is a non-sense as in real life you don’t have it…
If the club can’t afford it it will bankrupt soon…and if the players can´t play all then you have a terrible relation between all the players and a lousy morale at the team, which is what you had at managersim…
Think about it before taking a decision…

League table for me it’s ok, but i have the same problem at the fixtures list…
we will for sure add more competitions… lets see how our priorities fit.
yep, we had a problem on the games after the season tick. i didnt think this would affect non-friendly games, but it seems it did. will see if I at least fix the league table.
I was about to come up with this suggestion, but it looks like I’m the only one on this post playing Beta2.
Just a thought- does anyone want to start a friendlies league type of thing- that way we all get some financial aid and get to test our youths/reserves out more often- I find it pretty annoying constantly sending mails justy have them come by as unanswered/expired…
I’ve got the same…I can see the result of the first match in my mail- but not on the fixture list…although looking at the table it shows a different amount of goals than the mail…
I don’t know if this affects other division, countries or Dimension 2, but in Turn 6 my team played the first match of season 2, and we won 3-0 (I have the email – “Subject: Match Result – Hull City 3 × 0 Burnley”. However, if you look at the division’s fixture list – http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/league_matches/2?league=4 – the turn 6 results are all blank, and even the fixtures are not what they were before – it says that in Turn 6 Hull should have played Crystal Palace, not Burnley as actually happened yesterday.
Also, if you look at the league table – http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/list_teams/2?league=4 – it shows that each team has played two matches (tuens 6 and 9), even though the scores, results and fixtures for turn 6 have changed.
fixed all the national cup games. unfortunetely I had to reset all the season 2 non-friendly games, so you guys will have to set the tactics for those games again. sorry.

we were already thinking about limiting the squad, but we didnt think someone would get that number so quick :). will add a bug request to limit that. (have to find time to fix all those things :( ).
It is probably not a bug, but should be polished. There are now a huge number of free transfer listed players in beta-1 (after the last turn of the old season). I observed that some teams contracted about 10 or 12 players from the free transfer list within a single turn. My team (Barrueri) also was able to sign several players, but that is nothing when compared with Salamanca …

Surely this isnt good for the game. They have a stupid amount of players on the transfer list.
A min and max squad size cap could work. 17 and 28 ?. To have 86 players is stopping other clubs from using those players. Thats not even mentioning the high wages they’ve received which means any new club will have to pay high wages as well.
I cant see a good point to a squad of 86. :(
