For what I know a bankrupt team or a team with no money reserves, is blocked by the board, and will have a maximum wage zero. If this is the case, then is wrong.
Simple points:
If one of these teams receives a special youth, the special player can not be hired and can not be sold!!! He will be in youths until lost for the market (for free, no income to the bankrupt).
It is not possible to hire free players for low wages but if the squad is too small the board will auto renew players with higher wages (no matter how high).
These teams still can loan players with high wages!
I’m not able to test all conditions, but if the conditions are possible then I think you should consider my conclusions.
Teams should always have ways to get free players and juniors with small wages, I think you should set a minimum wage too, like 3, 4 or 5 Ks, and unlimit wages for the team youths. They need to hire new and cheaper players to release the expensive ones too.
The overall economy seems quite good and regulated, everyone needs to take care of their bank account now :) high wages are droping.

New source of income: sponsorship. The amount of money received from sponsors every 3 turns is defined based on the team’s recent performance. As the performance history started being recorded when the manager ranking was added it is not complete yet, which means that the sponsor value will be lower than it should for now, specially on MediumTicker. The stadium size will limit the amount of money received from sponsors, but it will probably only affect teams with a great performance.

You’re right JD, we are already aware of this bug, apparently it happens only when you’re creating or deleting a strategy for a formation other than the Default one. We’ll check it out.

Hi,
This is not a “serious” bug but rather an annoying one. Every time you create/delete a strategie, the stratagies list on the right side desapears and a page refresh is needed.

I am sure that you are doing almost everything to take rubby into a balanced game.
An our misson is to give you feedback… but sometimes, since we are playing the game for a while, I almost forget that this is a beta game and I am expecting not so drastically changes :p.

because of this limitation/bug … a goalkeeper that had his contract expiring was renew automaticaly by the board. :(
still with 6 goalkeepers

You’re not the only one in this situation Ricardo, I’m facing the same problem on FastTicker. I agree that millionaire teams are something from the past, we’ll finally be able to add other sources of income to the game.

The stadium reduction was a good ideia. But something is not working quite well… My team, during the league, was always in the top 5, my players wages are normal and my finance is going critical and last season I went to champions league semi-final and won the league cup.
I would say that most of the teams that are not going critical, is because they had plenty of money before the stadium reduction.
Instead of getting a big bank account, I invested on good players , therefore looking for more incoming.
I only had 2millions after the reduction… of course bankrupt will be my destiny. Theres is no way to make more incoming, since my base incoming was the stadium.
Yes I have one or two players that have medium wages… but how am I suposed to think of winning with the bad players I had? Ohh, that’s right… I am in the portuguese league.
I know that I am not the best manager arround here and that there are a lot better managers (I am not beeing ironic.) but I was making my own way.
I am not angry with anything nor anybody, only sad for my team.
Maybe I am the only manager with this problem. Suggestions are wellcome.
I have a feeling that millionaire teams are something from he past… I don’t have half the money I used to have, and the transfer market is frozen, so finances are likely to decrease even more :)

Same problem for me on medium ticker. I have 22 players on my squad plus 4 players loaned out. When I try to transfer list my goalkeeper Hector Fernandez, I receive the same message.

There is a minor bug with international competitions league positions, the league positions aren’t associated with with the season ranking but with the actual ranking.
For example my team in season 2 reached the 7th place and is indicated (in season 2) for UEFA cup, at the time only 6 teams had that access. That information is incorrect and there must be other with no UEFA cup indication that did participate in the competition…

Sponsorship and tv rights are definitely in our plans, not sure about prizes, but probably yes. We’ve been postponing new sources of money in the game due to some milionare teams, but we need to analyze the situation again and do some work in the economy side.

there should be prize money awarded to teams that finish 1st 2nd 3rd, etc in their league and also any success in the international cups should also be rewarded with prize money. at the moment there is nothing like that and it would be more realistic and more fun and more competitive if somethng like that would happen. furthermore, money for television rights and so forth is also another idea. sponsors, etc. please let me know and what u thing people…….everyone should give their idea and opinion because it should be discussed.

I am the Betis manager (fast ticker, Spain) and I have a problem selling or loaning players. When try to do it, I obtain a error message saying that the number of players is too small. I already have 30 players, so I think this must be a bug. Could you check it?Best regards

and we are back! :) it will take a couple days to get things going again, but we will. but this doesnt sound like a bug to me. some of our teams are in a bad phase because we did not have some protections a while ago. We are implemeting stuff to avoid situations like this in future.
anyway, we will restart our operations and check the pending to-dos.

Are you sure that there were no suspensed players? Because then the system choses the best substitution player and maybe in your case this was an attacker what makes that 532 becomes 433.

I’ve only just found ruby soccer so this may have been found.
I’ve noticed twice that my usual and default formation 532 has been played by the opposition team and my team has played their formation, in the last match against burnley away in medium tick, my formation was 433. Both times the team has been a computer team and I have lost. I think the game engine has confused the teams, but that’s just my opinion maybe I’m just a sore loser!!
