We don’t have an estimate for that yet, right now the newspaper, enabling transfer clauses and match engine enhancements are on top of the list.
I disagree. Dave Spurrier from Fortaleza quit for NAC right after the champion title ! I also think it is unfair to have advantages over newcomers.
When will we be able to write something ?
For example, “player for loan” or “friendlies are always accepted” ?
Hi everybody,
Great! we have new leagues, well done. But because managers get stock in one team, this new leagues only fill up for low ranking managers and new ones.
Right now if a manager build up a team and he success creating a good team that win titles; that manager isn´t interested in find other team or other league. Because he get nothing in exchange, worst player and what is worst NO MONEY.
My suggestion is: when a manager changes teams, he gets something: % of the money he got in his team. A plus of money depending on manager´s ranking. Get money for stadium differential. Get plus new youths from 6 to 9, to create fasted growth….. and many other ideas.
only few managers had change teams, in real live a good manager success in more than one team.
salud y musssa suerte
We just don’t want it to be too easy…we’ll think about it ;)
Alban is right, dribbling is just for 1 on 1 situations…to be more specific, dribbling is only used if your formation has no defenders on mentalities 0 and -1, or if all your defenders on those mentalities have individual tactics to move forward on either defense or offense. Otherwise the dribbling is not taken in consideration. So there are two formulas:
(keeping x 0.6 + speed x 0.4) [x dribbling / 100, optionally] for shots
(keeping x 0.6 + header x 0.4) [x dribbling / 100, optionally] for headers
ahh, alexander, thank u… i had missed that point :)…
alban, i am not sure if it is on 1-on-1 situations, as it is not clearly mentioned. the text just says goalkeepers will use this formulae from now onwards…
We’ve had such issue in the past but we thought it has been fixed. Thanks for reporting Saliba, we’ll investigate that. If anyone else experience this problem please let us know.
dribbling is only for 1-on-1 situations, isn’t it ?
Should you choose to use your defender as goalie he will have a 3 skill penalty. That would mean that the end result would be: (((47 * 0,6) + (76 * 0,4)) * 78) / 100 = 45,70800
Can we have the colour indicator in “Transfers/Loans” section too??? (like the one we have in Players Abilities section).
It would be easy to look for good players.
As far as i know, the formula for calculating keepers efficiency is
“(keeping X 0.6 + speed X 0.4) X dribling / 100”.
I have two players with the following skills. One of them is goalkeeper and another is a defender
Name———————-Pos—-Sde—-Age—-Kpg—-Tac—-Pas—-Sho—-Spe—-Dri—-Ctr—-Hea—-Agg—-Wage——-Value
Mattia Belcore——-G——-NA——24——-89——-41——74——30——-79——-81——76——80——46——$6,830——$6,560,961
Lorenzo Vezzosi—-D——-LC——22——-50——-85——75——79——-96——-100—-81——93——100—-$13,882—-$30,932,731
Using the above formula, the ultimate skill for My goalkeeper has the final value of 68.85, whereas my defender has a final value of 68.4
Since that value is not of huge difference, can i interchange both for the goalkeeping position???
i´ve just logged in with my user name and password e saw wierd formation for my team, so i changed it, only after doing so i noticed that i was actually loged in into another acount from a couch called in the game gustavo nery( at least that´s the name that i recall readind) as soon as i got aware of the mistake i logged out e logged in again , this time i got to my account with no problems at all
Welcome olidorval! Let me explain a little bit about the sources of income on RubySoccer:
>ticket income: the only way to attract more people to your stadium is having good results. If you’re in a good league position or in an advance national cup round your stadium starts to get crowded. Playing against opponents that are in a good league position also bring a little bit more people to your stadium.
>sponsorship: based on your team’s performance (ranking points)
>merchandise: based on your player’s quality. Getting better players help increasing this value.
>selling players: this one is pretty straightforward :)
There is room for improvement in the game economy and we’ll certainly work on that. What I described above is the big picture of what we have now.
Cheers!
The only way he could get minus 510 goals on his stats is by playing as a goalkeeper and conceiving 510 goals :)
sounds really good
How can we get more money in this game ? Is there any ways to sell more merchandise or to make people come at your games more often. Because my stadium is quite big, the problem is that my team is not good and people doesn’t come to the games.. My team is getting better and is going up in the standings since I’ve arrived, but nothing change for my incomes. So my question is ; How can I get more money in RubySoccer ??
congratulations javier…
Congratulations. I was hoping my keeper could come up with some more magic in the second leg of the semi, but your team proved to strong.
Hello,
Have a look in FastTicker to the history of this player: Alexandre Gomide.he is a M-RC player, and during his first season in Rubysoccer he played 65 friendly matches and he scored “minus 510 goals”?? :-)
I suppose it’s a mistake, but perhaps we can avoid more. What do you think?
Best regards!
Javier.
I miss the transfer history ! It would be very interesting to watch others’ transactions =)
Makes sense…a co-worker has suggested me that a while ago, but I’m glad you have mentioned it cause I forgot to add this to our list of enhancements. :)
I think it will be more proper to separate official and friendly matches in player stats page because they have different status and importance, but sometimes players score a lot in friendlies.
+1
We will, it makes no sense anymore :)
In which page? Player Info (where the skills, contract, nationality, etc are displayed)? Or in the tooltip with the player skills in the formations page itself?
The bad result / good result messages are sent based on the difference between the expected result of a match vs. the actual result is 3 or more goals. For instance, if you were expected to win by 2 and loses by 1, bad result. If you were expected to win by 3 and tie, bad result. Now if you were supposed to win by 4 and won by 1, it’s not a bad result. Victories are never bad results ;)
But as it has been said, don’t bother with this message, it’s just to give you an idea of the expectations.
Hope this helps.
You’re welcome DaMaGo :)
The loan extension is in our plans, it will certainly save time!
National teams? Sure! They will bring a lot of fun, but it will take a while before adding them. Lots of high priorities before ;)
Reset the server? It will probably happen sometime but will be properly announced. There is always the option of creating new dimensions for fresh starts…but not now, we don’t want to spread our users that much.
I’ll go back to improving the match engine soon and wing play is one of the priorities. I just need to wrap up a new improvement on transfers and loans that is taking long not because it’s a big improvement but because I’m redesigning the transfer system to accomodate clauses, like I did for loans. After that I’ll start the match engines tasks.
Personally, I don’t like transfer windows. But the game is not about what I like is about what is fun for the majority :)
This is something we can create a poll about to gather more opinions.
