Well, in real life it happens often enough…

Price lowered: now you can get a 30M keeper for 3.1M!
So there are three possible explanations for all the top players Tigre gets:
1 Luck. The chance that one team gets (almost) all the top players is bigger than zero, but it must be really small.
2 Alessandro is better in developing the players than others. But assuming the information in the guide is all there is to know, it’s hard to believe he does it so much better than others.
3 Something shady.
I don’t (want to) believe that he is secretly helped by the admins or something like that, but it’s also hard to believe that it’s just luck or skills.
I hope it’s just some unintentional error in the code that will be fixed by the admins.

Yeah, this is not a bug, but how it is supposed to work.
As far as I know, the following should be the case:
So there is no way to influence the level of your youth players, apart from raising your country ranking.
Can an admin confirm that this is still the case, or correct me if I’m wrong?
I was more or less right ;)

When being disputed by more than one club the players used to decide where to go based only in the highest wage, but not anymore. The player decision has been enhanced to also consider first team opportunity, in other words, how good he is compared to his future teammates in the same position.
Example: team A and team B are making offers to an attacker. In team A he would become the 2nd best attacker, in team B he would become the 4th best attacker. If team A and team B offer the same wage, or even if team B’s offer is slightly better, he will go to team A. In order to hire the player team B must make a much better offer.
There is no easy way to tell how much more team B needs to offer in a situation like the one above, only practical situations will tell you that. It really depends on player quality (the higher the quality, higher the wage difference needed) and relative position difference (2nd best vs. 3rd best, 1st best vs. 5th best…the higher this position difference, higher the wage difference needed).
Very likely yes.
I’m open to sell any of these keepers:
Teun Vandenbos - 20 84 - 67 - 73 85 80 89 80 1 100 $3,374 $18,059,166
Ben Stellmacher - 27 98 - 75 - 87 91 88 87 88 87 100 $18,888 $69,107,979
Osvaldo Amado - 22 93 - 86 - 84 84 87 84 86 40 100 $9,600 $107,101,089
See them at PSV, http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/636
Yeah that sucks, but I guess it’s difficult for the programmers to distinguish between bad results because of bad performance and because of building up a team.
(but maybe you can be the tenth human manager in the Dutch leagues now?)
AFAIK you cannot get fired because of bad performance. I should know, since I was at 1% performance for some time :P
(though that wasn’t with a top team, at the time at least)
PSV is selling some more players for discount prices, a.o. 24 yr 87 shooting for 18M and a 21 yr player.

Yeah that sucks, but that manager seems to hop from club to club, so probably in a month or so you can apply for Valenciennes again…
Welcome. If you go to http://www.rubysoccer.com/game you see the time to the next tick. 8 hours after that (or 4 hours in fastticker) there is another tick, etc.
Somewhere in the forums it has been posted that it doesn’t make a difference. 1 Friendly = 1 Experience point.
If it was this way from the beginning I don’t know, I do remember that in Soccersim it did make a difference.
“We now have a page on Facebook. Check it out!

Great! What about screenshots? Or maybe we (the players) should make screenshots and post them?
Santana, M L, 88 average, 28 years, EV = 42.8M, transfer price 20M
So more than 50% discount!

Hello, I’ve been playing this game for some time and I must say that is one of the worst I’ve ever played, it is true that just because I want to play, nobody forces me, but it’s strange because the teams without a coach are clearly favored over trained by humans which in itself does not captivate many people to play, it is also true that just by being human manager can not always win teams without a coach, but I give an example, during various times played with the Saint-Etienne in fast ticker in the 2nd division and the number of teams that went up without a coach was always more than coach also against teams that I coach these teams play 80% of the times 3-3-4 or other weird tactics as 0.4-1-5, 5 -1-4,5-5-0, etc., and what’s funny is that earn 80% of the time, now I’m playing for Racing, Argentina, the team took 6th place and nine or 10 games I played I lost almost all of them or the team played better without a coach than coach because the games played against teams without a coach nearly lost them all.
Regards, Anthony
ACSE Hello, welcome to the forum, as it appears on the front page of the RS game is in development, which means that all aspects of the game are subject to change. If you think something is malfunctioning in to report bugs or suggestions to the admins and analyze your time.
As for the teams without a coach I must disagree with this view, the divisions that speaks only has virtually no coaches or trainers equioas inactive. I think that with any of the most used in the tactical game if you can get good results against teams controlled by the CPU, maybe the problem is in the tactics it has used or instructions. Another important aspect is the GR, without a grain at a high level is difficult to achieve anything in this game, but this would be something that perhaps should be changed …
Looks good.
If you want to improve your team now, you can loan players. For example, I (PSV Netherlands) have a.o. a 86 average player for loan, and you don’t even have to pay salary.
To generate money, you could play more friendlies. Though they don’t generate a lot of money, every little bit helps.
The following young players can be loaned for free:
Heron Peres, goalie with 87 keeping
Blasio Rojo, D C, 85 average
Cristian Lobo, DA RC with 85 average
Jan Linssen, A RC with 85 shooting
Conditions: minimum coaching level 8 and they must play most official matches.
To loan a player, go to Netherlands, PSV: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/636
No bad start in season 49. On the contrary, in the first half of the season PSV scored 17 wins and 2 ties! One of the wins was a convincing 3-0 against the defending champion AGOVV, who also won almost all their matches. Unfortunately, in the second half of the season battling on three fronts turned out a bit too much for the squad and PSV started to drop points in the Eredivisie. Since AGOVV continued to win a lot, PSV only managed a second place, but 91 points (117-34) is still a good result. The cup final between both teams was also a convincing victory for AGOVV: 4-0.
In the Europe League, PSV was paired in a tough group with teams from England and France, at least on paper. It turned out to be a piece of cake though, and with 13 points from 6 matches PSV easily qualified for the quarterfinals. There again Manchester United was the opponent. PSV beat them twice in the group games, but this time the wins were shared and by scoring one goal more in the two matches the English team went through. So no luck this time, but in season 49 we hope to make our name in the champions league!
Not technically a bug, but still…
I had in midticker a player who had been on the transfer list for the minimum possible price for at least fifty ticks. I decided not to renew his contract, since he is too weak, but didn’t fire him, cause who knows, maybe some computer teams will bidd on him. And that happened! At the last day of his contract. And of course, instead of being sold, he left the club. Nice AI :(
“The amount of points for each skill is pre-determined, randomly allocated.”
I noticed an interesting example of the random factor. I have a player (DA) who had 72 65 70 for his main skills five seasons ago. Now he has 82 84 81 (so he gained 10 points in defense, 19 in passing, also 9 in dribbling). Most of the times the gained points are about the same for the different skills though, I guess this is an extreme example.
Season 47: This time the start wasn’t as badly as in previous seasons, though 29 points from the first 15 matches was a little below the board expectations. But a series of wins later PSV was on the second place, and everything was allright. Or was it? No! The second place had to be avoided at all costs. By losing the last
four matches with 8-3, 3-0, 0-10 and 19-0 (!) PSV just managed to take the third place, with the same match points (76) as Fortuna Sittard, but the goal difference (92-80) was low enough to avoid the second place. Phew! Direct qualification for the Europe League groups had been managed!
Talking about the Europe League, things went well there. PSV easily took the first place (in what probably was the weakest group of the four), and the quarter finals against Grenoble also was no problem. Alas, in the semi-finals the later winners Dijon were too strong. But we’ll be back in season 48!
It means that at the start of the season 48 friendlies are scheduled for your team (one per week). So if you want to play friendlies with your team (to gain experience points for young players), it’s a good idea to turn that on.
I suppose the message did say more than that? We can only guess, perhaps his squad is full or his economy is bad.
