I have a good youth (Cappelli) who can ask a contract during my absence. I know the board will give him a contract. The problem is that I have only to empty places left in my team.
If there are 2 youths who ask for a contract before him, they will get these 2 empty places and the board will release Cappelli. Am I right?

I don’t wanna loose him for a bad youth who gets the empty place.
It’s a good idea in strong leagues like Brazil where you have at least several good youth players of the 6 players you get.
In minor leagues the chance of getting a good youth is much smaller (lower country ranking) so when none of your youth is good you need to wait 3 or 4 seasons till you can release them and get a new one.
Looks like Alexander’s Napoli is the “fighting for title” team this season. Or is it Mantova or Palermo, would be a suprise…

How do you calculate the “worst qualified team”?
Stange. In the league I have to qualify for CL. As we have 4 CL places in Italy this season there are at least 3 teams better then mine.

The goal for the cup is reach the final. So here there is only 1 team better.

Gabriel, is there a new qualificationsystem in CL now Russia has joined fastticker?
Why do I have to play with Genoa in the qualification round as the champion of Italy when Monaco + Brest and Charlton Atletic + Bolton don’t have to.
Italy is now 3th in the country ranking in Europe before France and England. Or does this ranking only count for next season (season 27)?
As I see now in qualification round:
Spain: 2 teams
Portugal: 2 teams
Italy: 3 teams
England: 2 teams
France: 2 teams
Germany: 3 teams
Netherlands: 2 teams
Russia: 2 teams
18 teams => gives 9 qualificated teams + 2x Spain + 2x England + 2x France + 1x Portugal = 16 teams

How many teams need to collect their cash to pay this kind of transfer amount?
Nice idea once we have a big club clause.
Like Vaughn said there is no reason for reseving money after you sold/fired a player.
But when a player want to leave your team because he wants to play in a bigger team/competition it would be nice to have such a clause.

Perhaps you can choose this clause when you negotiate for a contract.
What I mean is that a strong team would not loose with 10-0 when they play with their B-squad. A weak team will. And as said above to give a penalty when you loose 10-0 or more weaker will get a punishment much faster.
A penalty by the board is the best option I guess. But I don’t think you can use a certain score as 10-0. Some teams are already weak and would “normally” lose the match with 4-0 anyway according to the board. Other teams are strong and need to win the match win 4-0 according the board.

So for a weaker team the difference for a board penalty is only 6 goals in stead of 14 goals for a stronger team. And the stronger teams mostly have a good B-squad.

There are 2 options in my opion:
.
- A) You count for example 10 goals with the result expected by the board for a penalty. So a “normal expected” loss of 4-0 becomes 14-0 loss and a “normal expected” 4-0 victory becomes a 6-0 loss.
This way you give stronger teams the same chance of punishment.

- B) Strong teams will have a bad result much faster. So you count the penalty for the bad result and an extra penalty for the very bad result.
.
We have to find a solution for this problem before the new world cup is impleted. Teams have to play more matches and these kind of problems will occur much more.

We have a superstriker in Italy: Marcel Humbert (Atalanta). Scored already 100 goals in the league this season. Just crazy…
Italian teams are doing great in Europe this season. 5 on 6 in the quarter finals of CL and uefa. There need to be at least one in the semi’s guys :)

Enough money to buy some new talent. :) He is worth the 140M I guess. He really is a topstriker who scores many goals.
I can’t afford to buy him but I’m sure there are some very rich clubs in the game who can.
Chavez (Santo André), Andrade (Flamengo) and Weber (Hertha) are better :) but he’s definitely the best striker on the transferlist ;)

I also choose option 2b. If you only can play 1 international competition every season, you can better delete CL, LA, UEFA and CS. Like Philipp said half of the teams will play international. I don’t think that’s good for the game. You need to be able to fight for an international spot. CL, LA,… won’t have any glamour anymore.

For concentration of the benefits: I don’t think the teams who will qualify for the world cup will be the same every season. There are a lot of good teams at the moment. Only teams like Hertha and perhaps Benfica will have a benefit because their competions aren’t that strong.
Managers also need to take care of the stamina of their teams, they can’t play every match with their best 11. This gives chances for teams who doesn’t play in international competitions to reach this international spots…

Another symbol would solve this problem or an outbox or someting like that.
