International competition matches have been rescheduled to happen 6 turns earlier. This will make them end on turn 137, giving room for a Club World Cup match on turn 143 between the Champions League winner and the Libertadores winner. This is not implemented yet but should be added soon.
Any friendly matches scheduled for the turns when the international matches will now take place have been cancelled.
There will be new leagues added to rubysoccer musti, that’s for sure. The question is when is it going to happen, cause right now we have most teams controlled by cpu on both dimensions. What we could do to add new countries right away is remove all second divisions from the game, this would allow us to add like 4 european and 2 south american countries. Of course this would require a reset. If more people would like that to happen we can create a new poll topic to decide whether or not this should be done.
Cheers!
You’re right Leonardo, but I’ve just had an ideia…after implementing the Clubs World Championship I’ll use that to give a weigth to each continental competition and make an worldwide ranking instead of two continental rankings. That should be interesting :-)
No Polat, youth quality has to do with the team’s country performance on international cups and the team’s division. Generating better youths based on ranking could be unfair, as a team playing in an “easier” league with lots of CPU teams would usually have a better performance and get better youths even if this team is from a small country or a lower division.
You can now see the teams ranking (using the same “flag” icon in the menu). If you had managed only one team since we began all this ranking stuff your team will be in the same position as you. In the future we’ll use this ranking to define cup matches.
It’s almost pure lucky. Almost because in the first round I pick only team in the second division…randomly :-)
In the future we can use a better criteria, like the one you mentioned. Sounds interesting.
We were doing some performance tests, MediumTicker is back, FastTicker is 1 hour late but will be back to normal after next tick.
Cheers!
Answering your question Polat, trades are not possible at the moment. We could add this option and require some kind of approval before the trade is completed, either by me and Danilo or by users with Dimension administrator rights (we’ll probably have something like that in the future).
Cheers!
I think I know the reason…fixing that right away! Thanks for reporting.
Cheers!
Interesting suggestion, could work :-)
Well, players under their real value are not a problem, you’re right Hugo, we can let everybody bid for underpriced players, but when we talk about overpriced players the thing is a little bit different. We’ll find out a way to watch overpriced transfers between same ip managers and let the ones with a fair price or underpriced without any restrictions. Makes sense to me.
Cheers!
He was used as a goalie, at least on this match:

Should be fixed JD, thanks for reporting.
Cheers!
I’ll talk to Danilo and we’ll consider the different opinions here. Whether the solution will be a downloadable spreadsheet, scouts or a better search engine I don’t know yet, but we’re lacking something on this area.
Cheers!
You have a good point Dave, we’ll do something about it, for sure.
Cheers!
Maybe we should allow that if the value is fair, now that we have more restrictive rules around transfers it’s a possibility. By fair I mean something around the estimated value, like from half to twice the estimated value.
Wait a second, the youth quality has nothing to do with the team quality, it only takes in consideration the country and division of the team he belongs to, not if the team already has good players in the main squad. Just wanted to make that clear :-)
About the 98 keeper, it is a huge exception, as thorpedo said there are not much 90+ players right now. The manager was just very lucky to get this one.
Cheers!
Sounds interesting, we’ll discuss that and see what we can do.
Cheers!
Damn! I thought I’ve solved this one…sorry for that guys, apparently I was wrong :-P
Sounds good Toni, it would be good to add the country information to the user, we currently don’t have it. :-)
Cheers!
Supercup sounds like an interesting ideia. Let’s see how can we handle that. About the international cup between the two continental champions, it’s definitely on our plans!
Cheers!
We’ll have to investigate thorpedo. Thanks for reporting.
Cheers!
We have plans on that, they’re called scouts! Did you think you’d get that for free? ;-)
Cheers!
No, only the best qualified teams in the leagues. We know that there are some rules like this and others like cup winners in some countries should go to UEFA but we’ve decided to simplify things a little bit. I hope this doesn’t take fun out of the game ;-)
Cheers!
Currently we’re using brazilian rules for all leagues: number of victories → goals for – goals against → goals for.
We have plans to use specific rules for each country…in fact I was supposed to do that a couple season ago :-( … but don’t worry, it will be done, for sure :-)
Cheers!
Yes, Ricardo. If you’re talking about replacements due to injured or suspended players it has been implemented last week (or the week before, not sure). If you’re talking about replacements due to injuries during the matches we’ve always been replacing the injured player by someone in the same position.
Cheers!
We used to have some content on this wiki before migrating to our current host. To be honest I don’t think it was very useful. It is good that you mentioned that cause I’m willing to create some sort of game help but we’ve not decided what format to use. Do you guys think a wiki format is a good ideia or do you prefer some sort of screen by screen help with an explanation about what is the purpose and what can you do on each screen?
Cheers!
Maybe an active/inactive status for each rule would do it, right? Sounds simple to do. :-)
Cheers!
We’re still not sure about international teams…it could be a good thing in the future, we’ll definitely go back to this discussion at some point. Thanks for your suggestion Polat, it’s always a pleasure to have new users posting in the forums :-)
Cheers!
It is something we could do, but I have some reasons for not doing that:
-we’d have to rearrange national and international cup matches to conform with this new structure
-it would be harder to schedule friendlies with teams using different “calendars”
-if you changed to a team with a “calendar” different than the team you previously managed you have to get used to this new calendar
As a positive thing I’m happy to tell you and everybody else that our tick time has improved after a few changes. The last league tick on FastTicker took around 3000 seconds, much less than the 3800 seconds it was taking lately. If you consider that we still have room for improvement and that Danilo was working in the database structure at the same time the tick was running we can expect it to be a little bit faster. Let’s wait for the next league tick to see the results.
Cheers!
