Switch to National Team: it was removed by mistake, already informed Danilo who is more familiar with the latest changes than I am
Average column: for those who don’t know this was a custom browser script developed by Ulisses a long time ago that can be applied to Firefox in order to show a column with the average stats of a player in the team list. Apparently it doesn’t work with the new layout and I’m not very keen to add it to the game myself, even though having it as optional is kind of ok, so I may reconsider ;-)
If you plan to introduce training injuries are there any plans to introduce manual training as well?
I don’t find the switch button either Franek.
I also would like to see the average column. :-)
I would gladly accept an average column even though there is no space! :)
Thank’s Dimitri but I don’t understand what you mean lol
Wich column ?
I don’t find anymore the button to switch from club to the national team I’m managing :p (on my normal computer)
Maybe make the average column optional :)
(like it used to be, more or less)
Hi all
Is it me or I don’t find the way to change to manage the natioanl team in the new design…
Thx Gabriel. Scrolling seems to work now.
@Dimitri: regarding the avg column in the player screen I have mixed feelings about adding it into the game officially. We don’t have much space to play with in the players list screen, it already has too many columns to be nicely visualized in mobile devices AND that column may give the wrong impression that the average is what matters in determining how good a player is. I’m not saying it is not helpful, but we know it can be misleading for some players if they are too good in the “wrong” skills for their position ;-)
@Dirk: you need to click on the icon on the top right open a menu and then scroll down on that menu (the blue background part) to see the login fields. I see how the scroll down part is an issue, I’ll discuss with Danilo. Without scrolling down you can use the Facebook or Google login icons if that works for you.
Works :D
Probably it’s just me but I can’t log in on my mobile phone with the new site. I’m using adroid. Is the log in somewhere hidden? I can’t find it.
The site on my laptop is doing fine.
Looks like we might be going through some problems with our server hardware, so the website might have some hiccups. I’ve raised a ticket with our provider, lets see how it goes.
yes, that is what is expected. This is called responsive layout. If the table wouldn’t fit within your device screen, that table is presented using a local horizontal scroll – which doesn’t affect the rest of the screen.
Now they are within the white box, but I have to scroll right to view anything past Agg on Kindle Fire.
Sniff and Joseppi, please try again and let me know if it looks better now.
I have the same issue as Joseppi on the Kindle Fire HD. On the player page the wage and value columns are outside the white box and Stamina is sort of halfway across it. To me it’s not the end of the world, but I guess it’s something to do with the viewport. Things work fine on my laptop.
For me on my iPad the text dosnt seem to be wrapped?
My text goes way outside the white border background, I like the look, I’m willing to give it a try
What do you mean by “not working”?
Not working on my 15 inch laptop.
It`s a mess! :)
We will make that one part of rubysoccer itself.
Another problem: the avg column in the player screen is not working anymore :(
If this is a price people are not willing to pay for the other benefits of the new look & feel, I will look into options to bring the “one click menu experience” back. But I do ask everyone to try it for a bit, before coming to any conclusions. Also remember this is the first iteration – we will adjust things as we go.
I don’’t understand. It takes two clicks instead of one click to get to a screen. How is that an improvement?
No, for a good reason: this new layout is responsive. There are still a few problems, but in a near future the whole website should work on a mobile device (after logging in using your mobile device, try the “full site” option).
I took a little bit of time to get used to the new menu, but after that time I ended up finding it better. Lets see how it goes, do let us know how it feels for you.
About the new layout: is there an option to see the full menu, like there used to be?
We have a brand new look & feel, along a number of other changes – too many for me to mention. This is the very first iteration of our new look & feel, so THERE WILL BE BUGS. We also had major upgrades and changes in our infrastructure, so this cause issues with ticks & etc. Please report the bugs as you find them, and be patient. We also would love to receive suggestions and feedback! Enjoy!
To those who love our current look & feel: you better take some screenshots. It is all going to change, and very soon.
We are yet to introduce training injuries. I was planning to do it with the other injury changes (increased likelihood during matches and increased average duration) but decided to postpone it to plan it better and have the other changes introduced sooner. I agree it doesn’t make physio important, on season start I thought it would as I was unlucky and had two players injured for a long period, but then it got better as the season progressed. Maybe we can make training injuries more likely if you have a lower level of physio?
I can notice it has changed, a player had an 11 turn injury. It still doesn’t make physio points important. I wouldn’t mind more injuries, maybe not as much as in real life, but three on average?
