Stars are tied to the player’s performance comparatively to other players in the same country, plus a natural star factor specific to each player. If your player lost a star it means two seasons ago he performed better when compared to other players in your country than in the last season.
Are they working as they should?
I was surprised that my player in the fast ticker “Tony Sheekey” lost a star after last season, despite having a better season than the previous one, so I’m not sure why he lost a star, he was 2 silver, now he only has 1.
That’s the next step in improving the morale system, Sniff. We’ll keep the aspect where the player does not want to renew when Critical but we’ll not transfer list him automatically, he’ll will have a negative impact on everyone else’s morale. We definitely don’t want to remove the management aspects, even though it may seem so sometimes :-)
Our previous mobile layout has been disabled, as our new site should already be mostly compatible with mobile devices. A new login area has been created for mobile devices, so no scrolling on the collapsed menu to get to the login section is required. By the way, the facebook / google login buttons are the first to come up in collapsed menus (for mobile devices).
Instead of players with critical morale being listed, can there not be another solution? I don’t think this reflects real life, yes there is player power, but just because a player has critical morale, is it not for the manager to decide if they should be listed? Can there not be something like their morale effects other squad players, bringing their morale down, or they become disruptive, or miss training, something that makes me decide their time is up at the club, rather than their morale becomes critical and they are auto listed. I am not a fan of playing a management game, where the management aspect is taken away from me, the manager.
I think the idea of the moral is good, I’m just not personally convinced on it’s implementation at present.
A friend of mine told me the same earlier this week and I tend to agree with you both. I’ll add a task for us to re-evaluate the price of critical morale players. Thanks Joseppi!
Hi, I think the price of players on critical morale is too high. Can we knock it down by say 30%?
What is the resolution on your screen? Is The browser maximised? If it is not, the game navbar will collapse below 1366px, and you will then have to use it by clicking on that button on the top right (on the navbar)
The header to login and does not appear on the Mac.
See here:

Can you please have a look?
Thanks.
Some small improvements/fixes:
- first division league champions will now receive a “Champions” message from The Board
- morale color for “Bad” changed to orange and for “Neutral” changed to black
- message icon now display the number of unread messages you have instead of total read and unread
- transfer list player screen adjusted to new look and feel
That’s a fair request I guess :-)
I want a messsage when I become league champion from the board! Not just for winning the cup!
Thanks for adding to option to get a avg column!
I also coulnd’t find the login fields at first on my iPad (and then I remembered the answer was in the forum).
When you apply for a team that has been free for 36 turns or more you will immediately join that team instead of having to wait for your application to be processed during the tick.
we have plans to do just that. will see if I can squeeze it in soon.
We have a new manager setting to display an average skill column in the player list screen. This column is informaitonal only and is not used to determine the player quality anywhere in the game. The average uses all skills but tackle and shooting for goalkeeper and all skills but keeping for other players, it is a rounded simple average (sum of values divided by number of values).
Thanks, can you put a separate box on the main page to log in? Just took me 10mins to find out I could scroll down the blue box at the top right
Portuguese (Portugal) managers might be experiencing a site error right at the front page. That problem should be gone now, but you have to clear your cookies . Let me know if you have any questions.
Our different game theme colours are back! As before, you can change them in your manager settings. Question for you: should the user preference be stored and used on the front page as well? Also, the mail screen should now look better, the navbar menu should never span over more than one line, we have new icons for some menu options and the managers online dialog now also tells you when a specific manager last browsed rubysoccer (so if the manager hasn’t been browsing in a while, it means he/she is probably not even available anymore).
Should be fixed now. Screens width below 1366px should now give you the collapsed options – this will ensure the menu only has one line.
Same issue mentioned above, Dirk, when the blue menu expands over two lines instead of one and covers up the black bar where you can see the dimension, season, turn and link to switch to national squad, if you manage one. I can post screenshots on Facebook to illustrate what I’m saying. I guess I’ll do that.
Where can I see which turn we are in a season? I can’t find it.
Training has just become more dangerous! Players can now get injured during training so your physio department will soon start receiving more visits.
Colors have been added to the Formation screen to indicate the morale status for each player. The morale status itself has also been added to the tooltip where you can see the skills for the player on the same screen. This should help in managing players with bad or critical morale.
Danilo and I have discussed this issue with the blue menu where it hides whatever is at the top of the main screen on lower resolutions. We have a couple things to try and resolve that, one of them being combining menus and/or replacing some them with icons instead of text (as we had, for example, for the Inbox and Online managers in the previous layout).
That was the problem I tried to describe ;)
(on my desktop it works fine)
Another problem I have is the blue box at the top covers abit of my screen. For example I can’t see the links England – Premiership – Manchester United (if I’m on my club info page) without scrolling up, when I scroll up to click it, I can’t, the screen goes back down before I get a chance.
If that makes sense
A problem on my iPad mini: can’t go to transfer/loans, it’s under the menu. I can make it visible, but not click on it. Not sure if the menu is supposed to become big when I click on national, league?
Yes, we plan to allow managers to determine individual training for players, but that’s going to take a while. When we do that, I also wish to keep an option to have the training “automated” for those managers who prefer not to do it by themselves. Of course the automated option will not optimize the training, otherwise there would be no point in manually doing it!
I’ve temporarily put the switching back and from the National team on the black toolbar strip, at the top. I will think about a better placement later.
