Mr Artur, if you didnt cheat yet, no problems, but you will..
What i want to mean, is………………you are a Cheater
Just cheaters complain to much with this issue (stamina)
And be calm, quite…who are you?
In this way…….you dont go there (cheating and be the best)
You made a big mistake
See you (all the times, that i have time for that)

I need to buy 2-3 bad players in Mediumticker. I´ll pay 50.000 each. No matter how bad they are, I just need someone to fill my squad for friendlies.

If you put someone on transfer list for 50.000 (or less) please contact me through ingame email so I´ll find the player.

Thanks!

For what it’s worth guys, I spend so much time between English time and French time I never can remember when the ticks are due anyway ;o)

As a result, I tend to know the tick by the receipt of email, as these have the results of matches I always know the results before logging on !

I do like Toni’s suggestion about having a link to the match report in place of the score though.

Not sure if this is already covered, but probably not as it is only a matter of adding “/forums”.

The “back to rubysoccer forums” link on the bottom of a thread is refering to http://www.rubysoccer.com instead of http://www.rubysoccer.com/forums

Cheers. :)

I think that would work, Toni.
Or having both methods, allowing the manager to choose which one he prefered best, like an option in his profile.

Gabriel, if it really is hard to implement then put it on hold. I have absolutely no idea how it is done, i thought it would be something simple like having a “Y/N” boolean, where a player could get a Y every time he played and a N every time he didn’t. If on Y the stamina deduction variable would have the value of 2, and when on N it would add 1 to that variable, starting the process all over again when the boolean got back to Y.
But like i said, i have no idea if this makes any sense in Ruby language.

How about a direct link to match report but home screen would not immediately show the result?

On one hand i like it, and with the tick next to it my “complaint” about not knowing how many ticks left to next match is worked out. :)
On the other hand, the suspense of clicking the mail box and the news with the match result is gone, everything is there once you log in.

Well, i think i can live with that, its more useful the info than the suspense. :)

I think that recovering 3 instead of 2 would be better than it is now, at least more realistic. Getting to the next match with the exact same amount of stamina that he had in the previous one is something like this: You have a player that only plays league matches. Between fixture 1 and 2 he played a friendly match, causing his stamina to fall to 96. He stays that way (having 96 on the match day) until the end of the season, which means that by fixture 38 he will still be suffering fatigue from a match he played almost 1 year ago. ;)

I like it. And yes, showing the turn would be good.

What about the “recent match”? Does it automatically show the result of last league/cup match? Or should there be a one tick delay on it? We once had a discussion about how quick people wanted to know the result of their last game. Would it be nicer to click the mail to see the result or not?

And if there, in the future, will be the chance to watch the replay, maybe it would be nice to save the excitement there.

But showing the next matches is a very good add on that screen, helps a lot when logging in from school or just in a hurry for some other reason.

Maybe add one more upcoming game and not show the recent match?

Cheers.

Done. Only the turn is missing. Please let me know what you guys think of this new info in the team screen.

Unfortunately we don’t store this information once the player has been sold. We’ll definitely have to implement a complete transfer history to help us on this kind of task.

There were other teams after the player also. Who knows if the one got him who “was supposed to get him”.

Of course it is not right to try to sell him right away.

But the one who got him is not automatically a cheater. I myself was pretty close to getting the player, but didn´t get lucky. Of course the seller should be examined more closely.

Can you (Gabriel&Danilo) see all the teams who were bidding on the player?

Looks like some people like the system the way it is and some people don’t. Not too many votes, so if I had to do something I’d go for option 2, increase the amount of stamina recovered per free turn from 2 to 3. Let’s wait for a litle more discussion here :-)

You didn’t miss anything, Mr Easy. We don’t have the subs system yet, but Danilo has already started designing it. That’s probably the next big addition we’ll have to the game, but it can take a while due to its complexity.

Cheers.

Possibility of substituting players will be coded in the game a little later.

Ok, so I know I’m being a noob but I’m going to ask the stupid question anyway. How do you assign your subtitutes in the game? I’ve managed to assign my first 11 to their postions but can’t see where I set up any pre-determined sub routines and/or who is going to be the substitutes.

Apologies if I have missed something obvious.

Ok Samir, your point about the “pre-season” is right. I will watch closely on my stamina in next turns to be sure of it.
But don´t you agree that stamina system as it is right now is a bad thing to the game as the players recover too slow from match to match?

Still the manager that control that, playing hard, or normal way (rotate, or not)
If this issue continuous, we will learn how to deal with that.
So, no problems, because we all have problems with that
And, that is fair

I believe that you must keep stamina issue on the game, but there are several factors that has influence on the evolution…i give an example : if you choose on tackle intesity “hard”, should the the players loose the same points of stamina, when compared with another team that chooses normal or easy intensity for this point?

This subject has not a simple or direct soluton…

Cheers…

PS : i’m also having troubles with stamina :)

Sorry, sorry
At the begining, the hoppe command
Full stadium for all
Everybody go to the stadium to “see” the news (players, tactics,…long time dont go,,,etc…,
And if the small teams win, next game must be full, because the hoppe continuous………………. :)

Toni, sure agree with you
But about the attendance, next season, must start in this way (full stadium), because this season, started wrong again
The 3th season, ok, you fully right

Just to add this little thing that crossed my mind again… Not the right thread but anyway. (I know we´ve talked about it before, but I forgot about it…)

It would be nice if the teams in the league table were ordered by the last seasons results when next season starts. I love it when I still can see the (hopefully ;D ) good placing from last year when another season starts. And it is nicer to speculate the coming season when the order is “right”.

:)

I think when the second season starts the results of season one should be considered.

If your team did good last year it should have a better starting attendance. And if did bad, a little lower starting level. The teams that were promoted could have just a little higher attendance in the first match than the teams that just avoided relegation and so on…

And of course the good/decent players bought (compared to the teams average) during the offseason should also have a slight affect.

BTW. In my opinion the starting stadiums of 50000 for everyone was not good (I would have preferred like 35000 1.st div. /30000 for 2.nd div. teams) but as long as no stadium construction I´ll take it. But if there sometimes in the future is a fresh start these things should be considered to avoid making it all too easy. For these gameworlds it however works ok.

Cheers!
