Hmm, this is at the same time interesting and dangerous. Interesting because it makes sense not to sell your players to your greatest or direct opponents, but also people could use this feature to boycott a specific team. Maybe a simple condition like not selling to teams in the same division would be better. We’ll see.
Cheers.
My club in fast ticker (Hertha) sold 4 players to a minor club of my country. the first 3 transfers were ok for me, but i would have favoured the option not to sell the 4th player to the same club …
i guess it would be nice to select for each player you put on the TL, if you offer him to (clubs from) all countries or just to some or exclude some clubs in special.
The last tick on FastTicker was postponed in one hour. The following tick should happen in the usual time.
Cheers.
I’m fixing the problem and I’ll generate new youths for the teams affected.
Cheers.
Guys, i just “released” one of my youths and it not appear another one, can you check it out please?
Manchester City in medium ticker
cheers
The player value becomes what you’ve paid for him. It wil increase again when he improves.
Cheers.
Nice, the arrows were suggested by a friend of mine already, but I need to add it to our list so I don’t forget :-)
Hi,
My team is Maritimo from Portugal and I bought the following player for $100
Simon Rafferty A 21 31 69 64 69 88 77 79 21 100 $7,108 $100,000
that had a “value” of over a milion … now it’s value its $100. What went wrong ?
i mentioned the performance chart like there was in managersim, not another division table like they said :)
Hey gabriel one more thing, how about an arrow icon next to each team line in the division table (up, down, or still) to indicate to who’s seeing the division table which team moved up and down after the last game!
you can see an example of what im trying to say here:
http://www.zerozero.pt/show_edicao.php?id_edicao=1582
at your right, there are the mentioned arrows! :)
cheers
Well the experience is good. It turns out to be very bad in when we are in the division table screen and we click for transfers/loans. It is annoying the time the page takes to load…
I’m in England, both gworlds
cheers
I want to keep track of your impressions about rubysoccer browsing performance experience.
Please let us know if it is [very bad, bad, ok, good, very good], your country and, eventually, a particular screen where that experience is worse.
cheers!
I like this one. Added to our list. I don’t remember if you mentioned that Alexandre, if you did I forgot to take a note. Lots of errors were happening by that time :-)
Cheers.
Ok, right now we don’t have the 3 qualifying rounds for CL, but the first round works like a qualifying round, so I’ll make sure teams from the same country doesn’t play against each other in the first round of all international cups we have so far. When we have appropriate group stages and qualyfing rounds I’ll make things similar to real life.
Thanks for the information, Alexandre.
yeah it is great, i like it… MS used to have that in a performance chart with rows and columns and all. I think i might mentioned that already to gabriel in the begining of the game…
cheers
This is an example from the Premier League: Premier League Form Table
Only the columns shown there don’t exactly match the columns I suggest above.
I’d like to be able to see an alternative view of the league table that shows teams ranked by thier current “form”. You’d do this by only taking into account the most recent six or eight league games.
Columns to display would be very much the same as the normal league table (Games Played, Won, Drawn, Lost, Goals For, Goals Against, Goal Difference, Points) but also include Points Per Game (so if you use the last six games, and a team has won two, drawn two and lost two of those six games the points per game would be 1.33 (8/6) and the difference in position between the form table and the real league table (for example, if my team was dreadful at the start of the season, but then wins six consecutive games, my real league position might be 15th, but my “form” position might be 1st – therefore the difference would be +14).
The UK newspapers sometimes print these sort of form tables.
I think in reality in works this way:
In pre-qualifying rounds same country teams cannot face each other (I think there are 3 qualifying rounds for CL).
When it Comes to Group stage, same thing occurs, teams from the same country cannot be facing each other in group stage. After that its random.
Dont know how it works in Uefa Cup though.
Cheers
I’ll create a bug for that so we can investigate later.
Thanks for reporting, Hugo!
Got your point Philipp. In which stage would make sense for two teams from the same country play against each other, or how is it in real life? We don’t have much stages right now, but we can start taking care of that right away.
Cheers.
well, i see it as an disadvantage for the (in this case German) League with regard on the Nation ranking/ UEFA points b/c the number of teams that may collect points for their nation/league is reduced automatically in early stages.
In players page, view by contracts, when I sort by Turns Left here’s what happens:

You’re welcome :-)
I forgot to reply here saying it was done.
Cheers.
Thankyou :-)
Hmm, I thought we have fixed both bugs. Looks like we didn’t :-(
Do you know how these matches ended up in the same turn? Were they rescheduled? Was it you or your opponent who accepted them?
I’ll reschedule one of them for now.
Thanks for reporting, Simon.
Muchachos,
My team is Middlesbrough in MediumTicker, I have 2 Friendly Matches scheduled for the same Tick (25)
25 Middlesbrough x Bayern München Friendly
25 Benfica x Middlesbrough Friendly
Also, in the team description it says that I got 17th place last season and that the team relegated to Division 2, I am still in Division 1, I thought only 18,19,20 relegated.
Thanks.
well i’m with philipp in this one, i agree with him. I prefer the real way also :p
cheers
I assume you prefer real life way then :-)
You can face that as a pre-qualifying round for Germany ;-)
Anyway, we may follow real life rules more closely when we add more countries, or maybe we can just let these radomly generated matches create unexpected situations. We’ll see.
Cheers.
in fast ticker, Champions League, First round:
Stuttgart (Ger) vs Karlsruhe (Ger)
In RL two clubs of the same country don’t play each other in early stages …
Links added, youths can now be loaned.
Now you have. I have explained how to do that without the appropriate links in another post, but it is not necessary anymore.
Cheers.
