I’ll be honest with you Polat, I really want to add more countries to the game as soon as possible, I haven’t done that for 2 reasons:

1) We don’t have that many users yet so most teams would be CPU controlled
2) The tick time could increase too much, specially when league matches are played

We need to address problem number 2 first and lower the tick time to a reasonable value (we’re working on it). Afterwards we can try to advertise RubySoccer to attract more users. Believe me, I’m looking forward to it, having smaller countries like Venezuela and Cyprus will really add a new challenge to the game :-)

Today RubySoccer suffered a big structure migration. This should (hopefully) considerably improve our overall performance. In the beginning we can experience a few bugs, but they will all be fixed as usual. Please help us with feedback.

It is really a problem, depending on your browser. Ive changed a lot on our javascript tier, still have to adjust that tooltip. I will do it asap, probably tonight.

Hy,

In the formation screen, since yesterday 13/05, I’m not capable to see the players atributes when I pass the mouse over the player names!
I’ve already talked to my friend that plays here too an nothing wrong with his team! What could be happening?

As promised, I have changed a lot of things related to our formation screen (mainly around drag and drop). My focus was to improve our internet explorer user experience, but I hope everybody can get a good performance gain. I would appreciate some feedback on that. There are still some points I want to at least improve (tooltip position, line breaks on player names, etc). And I still have lots of plans to some features adds/changes in this area.

From now on matches played will have a man of the match whose name will be in bold in the match report. The man of the match is selected based on the player rating. If more than one player have the highest rating we have some extra points given in the match logic that can be used to decide the one with the best performance. This information is also available in the player history.

I’ve made a few changes to our donations/expenses structure. Paypal is still our way to do it, but the system now tracks internally our finances – this gives us the possibility to have private/public pages to show individual and generic financial information. If we need help, a red message alert is displayed at the login page.

Can you please change something about matches between same countrie teams in the first rounds .. after 1st match on CL, when all teams come together … two teams of the same countrie (Portugal) against each other. Not “fair”

You’re right, the card is being considered for the country of his team, not for the team he was loaned to. Thanks for reporting!

Maybe you can add a logic that a player can decide that he wants to leave the team after for instance he had already signed 2 contract renewals. Then a player won’t stay in the same team whole his career.
But it is not necessary for all the players I think. So maybe you can add a percentage like you did with youthgeneration.

Hi,

I think that loaned players are not considered on the “card list” after the match

example: Team Maritimo , player Stephan Hallstein just got a yelow card on the game but if I go to the players “cards” tab nothing is there.

I hated the big clubs clause in manager sim. If I were a player, i would want a big money clause, not big club :). But we can sure discuss it.

I also like the “free on relegation” clause. We may add that. I will talk to Gabriel in a near future and we will see what we can do to raise the tilt on this part.

Very good suggestions, Leonardo. I am going to consider them for sure. I am planning a few changes on our formations/strategy screen and I am probably going to use the opportunity to merge some of your suggestions in.

When I first wrote the strategies screen I already thought about the possibility to edit the existent ones. But I’ve decided to simplify so I could get something out of the door :).
