I’ve already talked to my friend that plays here too an nothing wrong with his team! What could be happening?

As promised, I have changed a lot of things related to our formation screen (mainly around drag and drop). My focus was to improve our internet explorer user experience, but I hope everybody can get a good performance gain. I would appreciate some feedback on that. There are still some points I want to at least improve (tooltip position, line breaks on player names, etc). And I still have lots of plans to some features adds/changes in this area.
From now on matches played will have a man of the match whose name will be in bold in the match report. The man of the match is selected based on the player rating. If more than one player have the highest rating we have some extra points given in the match logic that can be used to decide the one with the best performance. This information is also available in the player history.
I’ve made a few changes to our donations/expenses structure. Paypal is still our way to do it, but the system now tracks internally our finances – this gives us the possibility to have private/public pages to show individual and generic financial information. If we need help, a red message alert is displayed at the login page.
I would like to hear your opinion on this. Mainly on:
What kind of information you would like us to show? In what level of access?

Can you please change something about matches between same countrie teams in the first rounds .. after 1st match on CL, when all teams come together … two teams of the same countrie (Portugal) against each other. Not “fair”

Maybe you can add a logic that a player can decide that he wants to leave the team after for instance he had already signed 2 contract renewals. Then a player won’t stay in the same team whole his career.
But it is not necessary for all the players I think. So maybe you can add a percentage like you did with youthgeneration.

I think that loaned players are not considered on the “card list” after the match
example: Team Maritimo , player Stephan Hallstein just got a yelow card on the game but if I go to the players “cards” tab nothing is there.

I used to love Big Club Clause, ’cause it was my main way to adquire good players ;-)
I hated the big clubs clause in manager sim. If I were a player, i would want a big money clause, not big club :). But we can sure discuss it.
I also like the “free on relegation” clause. We may add that. I will talk to Gabriel in a near future and we will see what we can do to raise the tilt on this part.

I was previously a very addicted player of ManagerSim and I think rubySoccer is just as addictive as ManagerSim, but could become even more if we could heat the market up.
- Add contract rules as follows:
- Big Club Clause – This means a player may choose to leave your team if other team offers him a contract and he considers the offering team a “Big Club”. It should be discussed what would determine what is a big club, like stadium size, titles, sum of the actual players skills etc. The owner team would only be able to charge twice the actual players estimate value.
- Free on Relegation – It means a player may choose to leave your team if it gets relegated.
Normally a Contract Clause like this would affect the amount of wages asked by the player, they would accept less if offered a clause. It would be important if the players demand the clause time to time.
Strategy Rules:
- I think it would be a good idea to add a way to tell if a rule applies to home, away or all matches. In my matches I`d like to apply a different set of rules on home and away matches.
- It would also be nice if we could edit them instead of deleting and creating a new one.
- This one is harder, but it would also be nice if we could create dependency between the rules. Like, if we are behind and rule 1 has been applied… this would be interesting because we can`t say for sure where the player may be at the given time once a previous rule may or not have been applied before.
We almost got everything ready for translations. Now I will group all our volunteers. I know some of you, like Javier, have already raised the hand in the past. But we will still double check, so please send an email even if you have confirmed in the past.

During the match players will move on their own line instead of always moving along the center of the field. The only exception is when they’re close to the opponent goal, when they’ll start to move towards the goal.

You can already try it now and if there are more countries you can add more groups. Also with a few countries I like a groupstage more then it is now.
I miss group stage on CL and Libertadores as well. I liked your suggestion, it’s just a matter of creting the logic to support the group stage. I was willing to wait until more countries were added but it may be worth to add the group stage with just a few countries and adjust it afterwards. Let’s see :-)

I’m a strong supporter of group stage in the CL. Then there will be more matches which will provide more income. It will also be more fun I think.
You can play against more teams and also the smaller teams in the CL can easily play 6 or 8 CL matches.
The only obstacle are the 21 places for the CL. I have thought about a system but that will only work with 20 teams. But I think this groupstage is worth the sacrifice of this CL place.
First there will be a qualifying round like there is now with 8 teams (home and away).
After that the groupstage begins with the 4 winners of the qualifying round and 12 directly placed teams. So we have 16 teams what will make 4 groups of 4 teams.
Within these 4 groups there will be played 6 games (home and away against each team)
The 2 best teams of each group play a knock-out stage afterwards.
So quarter final 4x home and away
Semi final home and away
and the final will take place at neutral ground like it is now.
The extra turns this plan will have are not a problem I guess because the National cup already ends on tick 52.
I suggest:
qualifying round: tickx 94 and 97
group stage: ticks 104/107/110 and 116/119/122
quarter final: ticks 128/131
semi final: 136/139
final: 143
Then we can play almost the whole season in 2 competitions and we have to take care about the stamina of our players. That’s not really a problem now unless you only have 11 good players…
