Now that we have Russia more teams participate in the qualifying round. The logic to choose these teams is to go through the ranking from bottom up and pick the worst qualified team from each country. When we reach the top we start again from the bottom picking the second worst qualified. This is done until we reach the number of teams needed for the qualifying round.
Mhh I posted a similar message in the Bugs part….
Gabriel, is there a new qualificationsystem in CL now Russia has joined fastticker?
Why do I have to play with Genoa in the qualification round as the champion of Italy when Monaco + Brest and Charlton Atletic + Bolton don’t have to.
Italy is now 3th in the country ranking in Europe before France and England. Or does this ranking only count for next season (season 27)?
As I see now in qualification round:
Spain: 2 teams
Portugal: 2 teams
Italy: 3 teams
England: 2 teams
France: 2 teams
Germany: 3 teams
Netherlands: 2 teams
Russia: 2 teams
18 teams => gives 9 qualificated teams + 2x Spain + 2x England + 2x France + 1x Portugal = 16 teams
new country ? =)
for some leagues (e.g. germany, netherlands) all CL competitors have to play the qualification now. What’s the reason for that?
Ok, I am joining CSKA Moscow (Russia), let’s see, what I get here with a new club. In MS it was quite easy to start a new career, have done it maaaany times.
p.s. too bad no trophies last season, good luck to the new manager !
p.p.s. wow…3 more managers are applying for that job…not fair !
1) Better match engine:
- less shots
- weaker GKs
- more chances to score from a shot
- more goals from midfielders
- 10x decrease of one-touch shots (or 10x decrease in their accuracy)
- the players should maintain the formation
- don’t give 3 points to each skill of the home team, maximum 1
- add more ways to control players’ determination and fatigue
- decrease passing accuracy – about 50% for long pass, 65% for medium pass, 75% for short
- increase tackling accuracy to at least 60% per match
- add dribbling accuracy % in the report and decrease it =)
2) Players skills:
- decrease players’ skills, I think the chances to develop a star should be 3 times lower
- playing matches players should be able to acquire new positions
- add happiness, we can keep a superstar on the bench for the whole season at the moment
3) Economics
- add transfer windows
- expand the contracts, add clauses and players’ wishes and reactions
- players worth 50M+ should get be paid at least 50k per week or become unhappy
- players should better choose a club to play for, not the weakest side for sure
- some clauses should be able to decrease the wage significantly, but it would be harder to keep the player
- add the option to cancel the contract without fee if both sides agree
- don’t let the clubs to accumulate infinite sums of cash – the Board should control it and offer the options to spend cash after 1 season
- overall wages should be at least 2 times higher than now
- sponsor contracts should be signed with different goals and bonuses
- football economics shouldn’t be as profitable as it is now
4) Clubs
- increase squad limit
- remove friendlies, change to B teams competitions
- add fanbase, which will react on results and transfers
- add detaied team history
- add national squads
5) Gameworld
- add more countries and regions and lower leagues
- add the ability to “exchange” the clubs – 2 managers with close ranks should be able to exchange teams for a new challenge =)
- the newspaper and interviews are essential to keep the interest, also manager of the month, player of the month awards
- make it more interesting to change clubs after a while =)
This sounds interesting. But we will still try to reduce the number of shots anyway ;)
Just for the record, I’ve removed the 10 limit on board penalty.
What we have planned are transfer clauses which could include something like “X% of next transfer”. For example, you could sell a player for 1M with this clause saying 10% of next transfer. If the other team sells him in the future for 10M you’ll receive 1M more.
@ Parag it will be even better for the system. Managers should complete goals for the season to earn reputation and what is the difference if we win 3-0 or 2-0 ?
@ Vaughn that’s what the determination is for ! The chances to let in 2 goals from a weak opponent are low, so you shouldn’t worry. And in real life lots of goals happen on the last minutes.
xx
i want good players, not hot ones:);)
BTW, i can loan him:), but i wont… doesn’t fit my team formation…
Wow …. Who pays $ 2.147.483.647,00 for Jeroen Hiariej of Groningen? A 19 y.o. 85-striker…
.
How many teams need to collect their cash to pay this kind of transfer amount?
Big sale at Hertha BSC Berlin!
Nice idea once we have a big club clause.
Like Vaughn said there is no reason for reseving money after you sold/fired a player.
But when a player want to leave your team because he wants to play in a bigger team/competition it would be nice to have such a clause.
.
Perhaps you can choose this clause when you negotiate for a contract.
cool idea, but think of all the matches where they do that and end up with a tie or lose afterwards ;)
it’s a nice idea, but fired = fired and sold = sold…is see not really a reason to pay the original club after you let go of a player.
i would be happy with that if it helps players decrease their tiredness, but what about the board’s percentage in that case???
I think if we can’t tweak down the number of shots, maybe it is possible to have a so-called “determination” which makes players relax after 4-0 lead and decrease their commitment ? And also which can be adjusted by the manager in the strategy to decrease the possibility of getting injured or receiving cards in “easy matches”.
In real life I am sure some clubs like MU or Barcelona can win against weaker teams 10-0 easily. But they don’t. Because they stop playing with 100% strength after they reach a comfortable score.
such results are just disgusting and so irritating…
I think you should lose 85 reputation points for a 0-10 loss. If you are not sure that the CPU will be able to judge correctly, give this tool to the gamemasters so that they were able to punish the managers who do that on purpose.
sorry… both of them are:) the first one is just to display my passion for photography
Here is an idea, how about if when you sale a player that was raised in the Youth system of you team, there could be a clause that you can recieve $ if he becomes a Star and he is latter sold lets say you get anywhere from 1-10% of the sold price this can be specified when the player is sold.
Cristina Tolaini – 0% WAGE – he can improve in your team!

What I mean is that a strong team would not loose with 10-0 when they play with their B-squad. A weak team will. And as said above to give a penalty when you loose 10-0 or more weaker will get a punishment much faster.
Price dropped to 18M!!! for Christian Enría

all kinds of players on sale(prices negotiable) at Vitória
take a look if you have a moment, would ya?!
I have qualified 2 times in a row against athletico madrid and bayern munchen so its no luck any more!
Groningen 4 life
I’m not sure I understand what thorpedo but I agree there should be an extra penalty for very bad results.
In this example if Gremio’s manager had 100% performance he would only lose something like 10%… even if had not the 100% it would just cost more money from Santo André.
