The following error has occured a lot of times.,… may be u guys were restarting the server… just to inform u
esp after turn 102 in MT.

At the moment i have 3 players injured in MT and 1 currently in FT.
If i may, i think the newspaper would be alot more interesting if there where interviews in them a.s.a.p..
Injury comes from what the oppenent do against you, like hard tackling. If they do hard tackling you have a higher chance to get injured. Frequency looks good to me, only had 1 this season for 6 ticks.
Is it just me or everyone else notices that frequency of injuries have gone up. ( even with normal tackling) and players with stamina over 90… more than 8 injuries this season itself… and in MT turn 102, 2 players injured in one league game:( . this is the second time i have had to play with 10 men due to injury.
this is not a complain… just trying to know if other teams also have seen similar trends…
Nirabdha, we have many types of article planned. My choice when implementing was to first implement the one I thought was the most important. But now that we have a full structure behind the newspaper it will be easy and fast to start adding more types.

what would the tag be for man of the Match? (MOM)
As soon as we have enough match results articles to launch the newspaper we’ll start adding more categories ;)
now need to recorrect that article again:)
i think more types ( just match result is not enough)… may be some analyisis and other type options should also be provided
By the way, don’t think we wasted our time with this new mailing editor, we got this free functionality from another website, it was just a matter of adding a few lines of code so we won’t be sad if we don’t use it.

Philipp Leibeck – thanks for the effort, though for ingame mailing a plain notepad is enough imo. the new version has a lot to offer, but is not necessary/adequate.

I guess Nirabdha was refering to www.linode.com, our ISP address. The links Danilo listed are a good way to know if we are experiencing any kind of trouble. Twitter should be the best option, we’ll try to always inform you guys there if the site has problems.

The idea here is to have a good library of templates to generate interesting and unique newspapers, each turn. This stage of maturity will take a while to be achieved, but I think the result will be nice! For now, as you already know, we only have articles talking about match results. But the plan is to have many types of articles, in future! We already have a doc describing a few more of them.

danilo, what was that site addres u gave earlier to check, when RS was not working (that was i guess your ISPs address)… seems it is not in my favourite list… once more:)

although couldn’t properly understand what was really expected, i have tried my bit by submitting an article… and i am sure as always (i was never goood at essay writing:( ), it is not a good one, but then with some suggestions, i wish i could improve on that…
and nice screen to start with… hopefully we the contributors and you the creators, will both improve together:)

Very nice screen, excellent way to have a newspaper dinamic and very easy to use. I’ve made an article, when I have more time I’ll try to make some more.
Just an observation, is it necessary to have the %{match.expected_winner.name} %{match.expected_loser.name} tags? I think with the other 2 and the category of the article those are not necessary. Also a suggestion for the next tag it could be the manager names. “Fans sung (winner.manager.name)’s name all night” :D

First one is out there, hope it’s something!
I’ve coded a screen to make contributions easier. No “too hard” excuses now! I will only answer “when are we going to have the newspaper” questions from people who have contributed in that screen with at least one approved article, from now on :).
You can reach it on a tab inside the newspaper area.
- An initial screen so everybody can easily contribute with the newspaper (check it out on the newspaper menu)
- Internal mailing has a new editor. Please let us know if you prefer the previous one (very simple mailing), instead.
- Smaller improvements

yes, the problem is not from our side. we are waiting for linode to check it out. it seems that they are working on it, things are getting better.
game seems to be stuck….
Our focus now is the newspaper. Of course I’ve been doing some smaller things in parallel, but mostly bug fixes or really small enhancements. As always, it’s hard to say when things will happen, but I expect to start something more interesting next week.
We already opened a ticket complaining about that to our host. Something is definitely wrong, nothing changed dramatically to cause this slowness.
