At the current moment (Turn 134) when all the domestic leagues have been defined it and the Finals of International competitions are about to be played there is one team that seems to want to win it all, and that is Vitória, in the last 3 seasons (29-31) this outstanding team has collected 9 Trofies:
1 – Série A
2 – Copa do Brasil
3 – Libertadores
3 – Club World Cup
In this Season 32 it seems that they will be the team to beat, because they have already taken Copa do Brasil, and Série A, they will play the Libertadores Final and if they are successful they will go for the Club World Cup making it 4 for 4 for the season; and 4 straight titles in both Libertadores and Club World Cup.
This season out of 57 official matches they have only lost 4 matches, taking 80.11% of the total points
It seems that Vitória will have a big role in the present and future of Rubysoccer, and its all to the vision and exelent tactics of Manager Helder Shimizu that with hard work and dedication has taken Vitória from to what they are now. (Currently) the best team in Rubysoccer!!!
another idea is have there be an incentive like financial income to team gets increased with vip membership
offer the game for free but also offer a vip membership
including in the membership you can see your players development status to see if they are improving fast slow or not at all
include things like personal player training that focuses on up to 3 players per 6 tick that allows you to focus on a certain trait * ie passing shooting ect to better them
and allow 12 per season.
include having more than 5 youth and if your a vip you get 6 or 7

We are handfull of days away from 2010 and i think this game has very promising future. . The developers are really nice guys with full time jobs, maybe doing this for just a hobby or a side project that can bring some income in the future i dont know. My bet is they are just some IT guys with a passion of soccer :)
The fact is its costly and donations are not enough. I was wondering how many of us is ready to pay monthly fee for a game like this.I for one believe donations is not a solution and i am ready to pay for this game after couple of improvements.

Really more realistic this change… But it makes a good striker kind of useless! Wasn’t paying attention the past weeks so I was already wondering why my striker became really bad… I was saving for a better striker but thinking about midfield now…
Yeah its funny that one of my players a MA C “Fábio Vasconcelos” whom i used in AC -1 had decent amount of goals before the update started to score again after i changed his position from AC -1to MC+1 :)
Well this season has been a mess for me too…i am trying to figure out whats wrong but i will you give some facts.The opposing keepers averaging 9.4 rating against my team with countless MOTM awards….i feel like changing my tactics since its the results that counts but why change it if you have usually more shots on goal right?
Maybe the logic is the keepers that have to deal with many shots have better chance of getting the MOTM award but when it happens too frequently it gets ridiculous.
or really cheap to persuade someone to buy :)
They are not so effective anymore, but they can still helping a lot. Unfortunally they have to be really, really good to make difference.

yep DaMago… I expect to have much more free time after the holidays that are approaching, and I will dedicate a good amount of time to rubysoccer. the only problem is that i am moving to australia, so the time zone will be a little bit different :)
I know this will get much better, but i’m getting hit hard in FT and MT, you can see last games of Getafe and villareal….
i guess i will have to wait long to achive another european final, or even semifinals.
But at the same time we must have very happy manages winning or tie very rough games.
and the worst for me now it is than strikers as Bustamante looks like amateurs, unable to find where to score.
Maybe we have to define better goalies situation…. they getting so fat than the ball cant make it through.

I understand there are some divergences between some of our users and that we are not as effective as we could when it comes to investigate cheaters. Sometimes we may leave people unpunished, sometimes we may punish the wrong person…we do what we can with the time and help we have. One thing I’m sure, things can only get better.

Hmmmm it looks reasonable on paper but I’d like to have some form of real-life comparison.

Also, if strikers are to be a less important part of the game (which I have nothing against), there should be more midfielders that excel at shooting which I don’t think is the case presently…I recall ManagerSim having considerably more offensive or defensive minded (read: more talented) MAs & DMs…am I remembering things correctly???
My best striker hasn’t scored very often since your changes. Check him out: Mauricio Malta in FastTick…In fact, the top strikers list in France seems frozen in time. Nothing has changed since the game engine modifications.
It is happening cause players tend to run towards the goal more often if their path is free of opponents. I believe having more goals by defenders and midfielders is a good thing, but it may be exaggerated right now. The statistics for season 32 are not that bad, look:
Attackers: 35916 goals
Midfielders: 10204 goals
Defenders: 2726 goals
Isn’t it reasonable? :)
