Jairo Alvarenga leaving
This experienced defender seems to be leaving Guimarães at the beginning of season 36. Due to team dimension control and his status on the team Alvarenga is no longer on the plans of the manager being able for transfer for a small fee of 1M.
There are also speculations that the removal of Alvarenga from the team can open way for the arrival of a new star to the club…

We are going to do our best to release some of the important improvements in a one month time frame. But it is really difficult to predict, in the end.

In this first stage our focus areas will be:

  1. the intelligence around how the players move considering each one of the situations
  2. the chances for different results to happen, considering the different player skills.

I don’t know if the game engine can handle it, but it’d be nice to have a larger number for max strategies than 10. I know myself, given the game situation, would move players around, and just covering a single situation, like behind, can easily take 4 to 5 of those slots.

I know it is not a good excuse, but this (a button) was not added originally because there was no space left! But you are right to complain, I also felt bad when I was getting things in position and could not think about a good place to put a button…

I’ve added this to our list. Nothing will be done before we improve the match engine.

That is one thing I was planning to change. I am going to create a small hierarchy of GMs, some with powers, some not. And unfortunately we really are very busy lately. I’ve been working in the match engine. This is going to take a while, as we are building some nice tools to help us testing the match engine.

Hello, my suggestion is to extend the maximum loan period for 2 or 3 seasons (288 and 432 turns). This way there would be more incentives for people to get players from the loan market and less developed would be more easily loaned.

I know there is the possibility of renewal the loan, but with this option the loaner knows from the start he may keep the player for that period.

Hello everyone, this is the CL winner speaking :). Thanks to you all for those kind words. It’s nice to finally win the CL after all those seasons of being so close. Strange enough, I feel like I didn’t deserve it 100% this season. I had some games that could have gone either way. Luckely it was my time to finally shine and they went my way.

I’m very proud to see France dominate this hard. I’ve tried allong time to get france on the map. I’m happy to see we are finally on top. No more “competition is the hardest in spain”. Please……..if you people want a challange, come to france and see if you can win a league title. Which reminds me, nice win Patrick. You made Luc Blomme proud I’m sure :P

I hope my fellow french league managers will cheer me on in the Club worldcup. You to Dhimitri :). I hope you will keep a small spot open in your hart for france, and remember you were part of the revolution :P

Regards,
Sylvain ‘Sly’ Dingenouts
Brest Manager

Prices slightly lowered across the board for all players. Place a bid and let the negotiations begin!

Thank you for the very kind words Dhimitri!!! In all honesty, it was completely unexpected in the sense that I was confident to be able to finally re-qualify for a CL spot after a few seasons in the Europa league but I certainly did not expect Marseille to lose such form towards the end of the season. This is definitely a welcomed addition to my trophy case along side my Europa Cup win last season. Ultimately, what paved the way for the division title was you leaving for Liverpool. I’m sure that Valenciennes would’ve most probably gotten a few more wins under your management. Edit Mind you, the new manager (Thomas) did win a 3rd consecutive Europa Cup for France… Edit

Last but certainly not least, congratulations to Sylvain for finally wining the Champions League with Brest!

Thanks Dhimitri :)

Luiz Cardoso arrives at Guimarães
This veteran defender just sign for the club after a season in Valenciennes where it seams he was not in the plans of the new manager Thomas Corneloup. With the come of Cardozo it seems Presley Duarte, the until now main defender of Guimarães may be leaving the club thou the asked price may not be accessible for the most teams in RubySoccer.

Loan wave at Guimarães
We have now many players available for loan, they have in most cases 18 y.o. so much potential to develop yet. For those who may loan them know you can keep them for at least 3 loan periods so you don’t have to worry and you may benefit from theirs development.

Here we are again

Brest vs. Valladolid
Sly vs. Rui

Last time these two fellas met, Rui “stole” the trophy in penalty kicks after an under par performance during regular and extra time. Sly was left wanting with a bitter taste in his mouth. Will he get his “revenge” and, most importantly, the long sought after achievement he actually deserves??? :)
Or will Rui just get away with a bis?

PS: Congratulations to Patrick for an amazing late run in the League which sought Monaco winning the Championship crown in dramatic fashion. The shocking fall out of form from Marsielle and the earthquake in Valencieness bench cannot got without notice, but the achievement of Patrick is nevertheless astounding. Good job mate :)

In what might be considered the most absurd move in history of RS, manager Dhimitri left Valenciennes, one of the most promising clubs in RS to join Liverpool FC, a club admist one of its darkest hours as it is about to be relegated again to Division 2 of English football.

“Leaving Valenciennes was hard. We were fighting for the title and the team was just coming on its own this season. I am proud of what I have achieve with them. But the call of Liverpool was even harder to avoid. I have been a fan of this club since I was a toddler and now I have a chance to set things right for this great club,” the new manager said.

“When I first came here, I thought I had walked into a resting house for old people. I was shocked. Average age was above 32, the club was losing hips of money and was about to go bankrupt. And there’s no hope whatsoever!”
“We might as well consider the present as the Year Zero! Everything has to start from scratch. My first objective is to get Liverpool out of misery and into a place of hope. And that shows how much work is needed here. We should forget about results and trophies. This is a moment to set our foundations for the future. It is the start of a new philosophy, the start of a new tradition. Before playing football, the club needs an identity and that’s what we have to build”

“It will take time, and lots of sweating, and lots of patience. But we will get there. Where’s there? To the very top of this beautiful game. In time, the name of Liverpool will echo all around the globe!!!” Dhimitri concluded.
