A School of Talent
As it is in real life we what to make Manchester a club were young players do the jump from regular to world class players. With that in mind we what to maintain or increase the dynamic of bought and selling players. For that reason all players in our squad are available to negotiation for very reasonable prices. All players less than 30 years old are developing, even Team’s Capitan Robert Austin, and all of them we believe can be future top class players or they would not be in the team. This is something we need to enhance in the match engine, keepers are stronger than they should be because usually the number of shots is higher than it should be.

I noticed that my team in fastticker (PSV) often has more shots than the opponent, but still doesn’t win that often this season. The cause of this is easy to see if you look at the stats of the keepers of my opponents:

I don’t know what the average of all keepers is, but I do suppose it’s no more than 7.5 (I do think keepers get higher rates than field players). So for some reason a lot of keepers play one of their best games against my team. I guess it’s just bad luck?

The improvement will stop when he reaches 31, no matter what.
Virgino Costa – still improving (559 overal at the moment) and already 30 years old now. My best player in 45 seasons fastticker and yes, he comes from Tigre.
What will happen if he still is improving at the age of 31 (next season)? Normally he would decrease in skills from that age.
Ok. Maybe another time. But probably I will use him next season. He is already 97 keeping.

New logic in place to prevent teams from the same country to face each other in the group stage of international competitions. When it is inevitable (for example when we have 5 teams from the same country to distribute in 4 groups) the new logic is not used at all. These inevitable situations will soon disappear when we introduce enough countries to have 8 groups.

Well, the rules are the same for managed and cpu teams, currently players don’t look at that when choosing where to go. One thing we can certainly review is the minor clubs decision, maybe 33% of the wage is too much.
ok, now players decide for minor clubs even if they earn just 33% of the wage a major offers. hard to believe that this reflects real life, but ok.
in addition to this i now witnessed two instances where players prefered an offer of a cpu team over a better offer by a real manager. This is something i do not agree with. teams with a real manager should always be more attractive to player than a cpu team!

Resurrection
After a long dark period in their history Manchester United is getting back, back to the Premiership, plenty of young promises and already some top class players that make us believe in a few seasons we will be able to make a stand in the league and start thinking about international competitions. For now the priority remains the formation of young talents, a tradmark of the team we plan to keep. Making the way to a place in Europa League this season will probably not possible with the current strategy and because Premiership has now many strong teams fighting for that, but we beieve next season we can have the two objectives in mind as the team gets stronger…

@Dirk: maybe…I think the idea is that not playing should negatively influence everybody, not only older players
@Kuroyuki: yes, it is random, until 40 players lose an average of 10% of each skill…there’s been some discussion around whether or not all skills should decrease or just a few like speed for example…the thing is, the way the simulation works, reducing only speed may not reflect very well the impact of age whereas reducing all skills do the trick
Is it a random stat loss, if so personally I believe the stat loss should come from speed only. As players age their ball skill remains while their speed diminishes.
Will the fact that they play official matches matches influence the decease some day?
The board could not evaluate you for the players you use or there would be no point in managment if any squad I use it would be ok for the board. You are having those bad results for the board probably because of players stamina as I believe the board does not take that in consideration, and it shouln’t, keeping players stamina high is a job for the manager…
