Updating…
I should have posted this at the end of season 45 but it goes now :D
Manchester failed to reach a EL spot by 4 points, thou it wasn’t our objective it was something we wanted when we realise it would be possible at the end of the league matches. The main objective was accomplished and we can see now some of the youngsters are becomig great players. We also bring more already formed players like Jorge Teles and most recently Hamilton Prestes, two great strikers to help us reach that EL spot. We are hoping in 2 or 3 seasons ManUtd can be competing for Premiership title against Liverpool and now Tottenham and Blackpool.

I would like to send congratulations to Rui Antunes for the great job he is doing with the Portuguese national team, by far the most successful national team, if he keeps this way I’ll never be managing the team :D

Nothing wrong IMO. It’s the only way to bring a player in a transfer without somebody interfering it.

The percentage drop is based on your opponent, so if you lost to a theoretically much weaker team (that probably has already exceed its expectations) your performance will decrease a lot, like it did. The expectation is just an indication of how your team compare to others in the same competition :-)
I lost the cup final in medium ticker and my performance decreased with 16%. My board expectations were “reach final”. I guess I probably should have won it but I doesn’t seem right that you loose that much percentage if you reach your expectations. It even wasn’t a bad result.
Personally I see nothing wrong with it. It happens in real life aswell right. Player+cash……
You guys got it right, they raised the price so nobody would interfere. They contacted me in-game about this trade :-)

The thing of relevance here is the price difference of 50 mill between the two strikers. Personally, i find it ridiculous, however, it remains a subjective evaluation. If Ricardo thinks Karger is worth 50 mill more than Hoffman, then it’s really up to him.
Of course, this exchange could easily be nothing more than a transfer of 50 mill between friends (cheating), but that is impossible to prove unfortunately.
This is normal?
I think I’m evaluating my players wrongly.

all players are excelent youth that will be 90 skills for sure
i expect close to the posted price but they are negotiable.
I’ve listed alot of players who I trained quite alot already. I played most in alot of offcials already, so less work to be done to train them to there full potential.
I personally don’t think they’ll grow to the 92/93 avarage players I am aiming for. They’ll be decent players, but I don’t think they’ll be the superstars I am looking for. They can be picked up for prices ranging from 2 mill to 6 mill. have a look.

Please mind your language Davison. I think everyone sometimes feels the game is “against” them and just nothing is working for them. We all have that. I doubt Liverpool is “lucky”. You don’t win the league 5 times in a row just because you are lucky. Change tactics and positiion of players untill you find something that works. Or you could check some replay’s of top teams to see how they lineup there players.
I recall chatting to Philip in my glory day’s, where his expectations were semi’s, while mine were finals. Yet when comaring the 2 teams, his team was “slightly” better. I never really trusted those expectations that much….
Mine is quarterfinal, but teams improve during the season, or some do at least, hence board evaluation is not that important.
I see it hard for the an all-French final. First of all because their league is too strong, which could cause stamina issues. Either way, only Auxerre (If Charles stays sober :D ) and Bordo are capable to amount a challenge to the end. But so are Hertha and Valladolid, my two favorites to win it.
Liverpool is more of an outsider, and Gijon could very well be in it too, despite losing some important pieces last season (but they have some nice youth comming up).
In addition, Maritimo and Guiamares need to shake things a bit as they do have lots of potential.

We have to if we do as good as the previous season. A french final would be fantastic. It’s time for a french CL winner again.
Just wondering, who has the best team in Europe according to board expectations? I have to reach the semis in CL.
Hope I can win CL once again. 2 EL and 2 CL trophies with 2 different teams (each 1 EL and 1 CL) would be extraordinary. A small club, allthough guys like Philippe managed only 1 team untill now.
We’ll be 3rd coming next season.

Probably not…we have players in many different timezones so the tick times will always be good for some and bad for others…of course we can change if most feel the current schedule is not good :-)
