The age limit is really 31, when the skills start to decrease, not increase. And not all players get 140 skill points to improve, that’s just an average. And even for players that have always played regularly it is still possible that they continue improving beyond 25 y.o., as long as they locked in stats haven’t all been unlocked, as Sly pointed out. Of course you’re more likely to find these situations when the player has not played many official matches or has been in teams with low coaching level.

@Sly

Both Costa and Hertha;s goalie have played all the possible games and beyond to reach their full growth. These are not players that have only played 100 games before and, hence, can still grow at ages of 26 and 29

They improve untill there “locked in stats” are all there. Wether he’s 23 or 29 doesn’t matter. If he has it in him to increase 140 stats, then he will :). He just needs the X amount of games. If X hasn’t been reached yet….then he will keep on increasing untill he has. Age has no influence…

Virginio Costa – a 29 y.o. defender of mine is improved from 629 to 641 this season. He even isn’t a brazilian international. :)

So Argentina does stand a chance in the World Cup :-)
That explains why my Uruguayan attackers were so uneffective against Argentina!

A change. It is part of the changes ‘package’ related to cups where the best teams are drawn against the worse, but not in a predictable order. Now any first place team from the group stage can face any second place team. I thought about this situation yesterday (facing a club from the same group in the quarter-finals)…it is not good, but should be ok.

I’m still working on avoiding same country matches as much as possible…not ready yet ;-)

Except for Villareal-Inter, the QF are all different from the logic in the previous seasons. A bug or a change?

in medium ticker, in quarter finals Hertha BSC face Rennes, a team from the group phase. This must be a bug, right? Shouldn’t it be Torino for Hertha here?

They are for loan, simply because I want to give as much play time to every youth I have. I can’t loan out 70 stat players, but these I can loan out. I’m ok with relegating or ending really low in the rankings. Rebuilding simply takes time. These are my motives, before anyone in here doubts me or thinks strangely of the fact I loan out my “best” players :).

The draw is similar, except that it uses country ranking instead of team quality. The best ranked countries are placed in one side of the draw and the worst ranked on the other side.

Regarding Paraguay and teams that had their managers fired, the reason is they performed below expectation. Paraguay for example was expected to reach semi-finals.

And I could do nothing against Argentina. We played really well, but the strongest players in Filipe’s squad did the job :-(

I don’t know if the draw is making the weakers teams to play against the strogest as it is in international competitions but in Europe some candidates meet eachother very soon… England vs Portugal could be a final…

The problem is that your other 2 goalkeepers are on the loan list. So when they both loaned on the same turn and Ventura is sold you haven’t any GK anymore.

We will all stay in our teams. The expectations for the final was Brazil and Argentina so the four of us managed to reach the expectations. Now let’s see if I can manage to do better than they want… Too much difficult but not impossible :D

Hi ,

It seems that I can’t put my player Rui Ventura on transfert list.
The error message : “Cannot transfer list player. Our squad is already too small”
I have him since 4 seasons and my squad has 30 players. I tried a few other players and they are all ok to be transfered but not him.

By the way, I know that it isn’t a bug but I don’t find anymore the subject with strange results so I put here my first round of Europa League, lol ! :
