For sure Davison :)
Cool Gabriel, thanks for the reply and i think i can speak on behalf of all managers when i say we all appreciate the dedication you guys put into making this game what it is :)
I’ll do my best to have it next season, but I can’t make any promises as the available time to work on it varies a lot :-)
situational awareness for the win charles :D
Would you know how much longer prior to rollingout these changes? I’m just curious… :)
obviously it’s better to take longer and make sure all the bugs are ironed out rather than deploying something that won’t work properly…
Plus if we are all astute managers like Davison, we need extra time to plan ahead :)
i hope to have these improvements up by next season as i have been prepareing my team for it as any responsible manager should be doing right now
Transfer windows have been discussed in the past and there was never an agreement whether they would be good or bad. Maybe they will work better with the new system than with the current one. We’ll have to wait and see.
As far as the new system goes the choosing and establishment of investments for the season is ready, now we need to do more testing to make sure the transfers, loans and contract renewals are working as per the new rules before we can roll them out.
I would think some of those things are currently being worked on… Hopefully we can have an update from the admins on how they are progressing?
Let’s wait for the new economy system first?
or make it so you cannot sell your player for more than est value. have contract lengths mixed with player moral. where the player chooses not to renew and wants a transfer just like managersim. also set the max a player can be sold for to be that of thier est value +10-20% i dont see a problem with this
just like in real life, good idea, but would this decrease or increase market inflation… i’m not an expert to know how to predict these things…
i think since its such a small window, we could have 2 possibilities:
1) people will pay any price to get the player they want
or
2) people will ask for the moon and no one will buy players during this window.
Perhaps this is something that could work under the new system that the admins are gonna implement…
Transfer window pre and mid and after season
There was a close fight for the title in season 79. For a long time there was one point difference between Feyenoord and Ajax, but when in round 35 PSV beated the Amsterdam team the fight for the title was decided. Feyenoord champion, Ajax 4 points behind.
It wasn’t the only succes for Charles and the harbour city though. Not only did they win the national cup by beating Ajax 4-0 in the final, they also managed to win the Champions League, and even the club world cup! The quadruple! Because of this the Netherlands will be number 4 in the country rankings next season. Charles said he wants to try to get Holland to the top of the UEFA ranking, will he manage? I’ll do my best to help him with that :)
Guys, I know that Chile is just a little stripe in the very far side of the map and is far from being a good market to buy players, but there are always good players for sale in U. Chile. Please take a look and be my guest! Best!
Huge sale at Everton. Many quality players too choose from. Have a look pls

Wow, no idea how that could happen :)
Thanks for reporting anyway!
Another wave of players for sale coming, take a look, best prices in the market:

It has been fixed.
Well instead of having the flag you had the “retiring” logo instead, for all Paraguayans players.
Kind of funny.
I agree that the mechanic can be annoying for (good) managers, but the only benefit of a manager making a player untouchable, is that he won’t click ‘transfer list player’ by accident, right?
The point is that the board may select some players as untouchables based on criteria that might not exactly be helpful to the manager. For example, we can agree that the value of a player does not necessarily reflect his skill on the pitch, according to a manager’s evaluation. This is usually the case with players with high secondaries but low main attributes, such as a keeper who would have only 85 in keeping, but 95’s in his secondaries. His price would be much higher than one of the same age, with 95 in keeping and 85’s in secondaries, even though the latter would be better across the skill board by 2 pts. And of course the manager would be much better off selling the 85 keeper and keeping the 95 keeper, but the board might select the 85 keeper as untouchable, which takes a chance off from the manager to generate some money and improve his team.
In other words, while we introduce features to prevent managers, especially new ones or cheaters, to destroy the team, we should also make sure that the same features don’t prevent good managers from improving their teams.
What is the point of a manager making a player untouchable?
Regarding top players not being allowed to be sold by the board. I remember there was a similar feature before, and it did cause some problems. Is there a chance that both the board and the manager select the “untouchables”? Such as, the board provides the manager with a list of say ten players, and the manager has the final say by selecting a number of untouchable from the list
:)
Welcome Shawn! Russia just got a lot stronger! :)
What do you mean, D-A-D? Which screen are you talking about? I’ve had a quick look and couldn’t find anything wrong :-/
The new system’s wage limit would potentially prevent the high wage, but not the transaction itself. There are mechanisms in place preventing new managers to spend a all of the team’s money (which will become obsolete with the new model), but nothing as far as I remember prevents them from selling good players, except the top ones in the board’s eyes.
A top 10 manager just sign in Russia. This is the new Eldorado !!!!!
Welcome Shawn.
i agree with BK. I thought there were mechanisms in place to prevent this kind of stuff from happening.
guy gets hired on turn 102 and sells such a high caliber player 6 turns later…
interesting experiment, we’ll see what board will do with such players…
/BK
I put more 3 players.
I will think about Tomás Cejas and Amadeo Samuel.
After the early elimination in libertadores da américa and tha bad results in the season, even being superior in 95% of games, we decided to sell six of our top players. Hurry, before the board repent and takeoff him from the market.
Kind Regards.
Felix
I’m sure new rules and salary caps set by the board will make sure new managers don’t destroy their teams, and that salaries won’t be this high.
But…for the time being…I’m gonna enjoy my new toy and hope he improves some ;-)
