Not sure if this has something to do with the new change but i just got a 16 yo he sucks and he is worth $1,195,978!!!!!!!!!!, does this mean he will become a Superstar? what does this price mean. Is that how youth players are going to be from now on?

In my personal experience, I have been manager of America-RN since season 30, at first I did not care about Youth players and all I wanted to do was Win, Win, Win, but then I realized that I managed a team in Brazil, the best ranked nation in RubySoccer, and that, meant that My youths players had an advantage over any other country, Now I am not focused so much in results but I am focused in developing Youth Players.

In 7 seasons, I have had 25 Youth players start their career in my youth Squad, out of those 15 have been fired, making it 10 players that have been given a chance to develop and play in America –RN, this does not mean that the 15 fired players did not have the skills to play, it just meant that it was not what I was looking for, good quality players were let go such as Getafe’s Jardel Lima and Roque Leite, Portsmouth’s Jessé Guimarães, among others.

The Players that have been raised from my youth system are:

Keeper
Jeferson Torres (23)

Defender
Deolindo Carmona (24)
Aluisio Noronha (17)

Midfield
Pascoal Vieira (22)
Rogério Castelo (25)
Wellington Anjos (22)
José Rodrigues (18)
Elivaldo Carvalho (19)
Ivã Gaspar (19)

Forwards
Santiago Trindade (21)
Américo Moutinho (19)
Humberto Lobo (26)
João Maciel (22)
Etevaldo Guerra (24)

With these players in a few season, at full development, this investment will pay off, I also think that development from Youth academy works and it is Fun, now every time I log in I do not care about the score of the last league game, all I look at is if there was an improvement in my players.

also, I think that Turkey does have the potential of creating great players, the problem is that the local teams do not want to spend the time in developing youths, take a look at Özavci Harun I got him from the transfer list 3 seasons ago, he was without a contract, he had low to decent stats, but now he is an above average player in comparison to all the Turkish players and he is only 20, dont be surprised if he turns out to be the best Defence player from Turkey in a near future.

Shouldn’t this manager be fired already? joao marcos

he is on vacation 16 days ago and his team is CRAP, because he does not have a keeper, I think that she system should do something about this right? there is an average of 13 goals per game scored against them in League. that is TERRIBLE. talk about 495 goals against. whats up with that?

what about when you play a different lineup to try different players in the same possition and in this case you put your starter keeper, then at half time you change him for a different keeper, then how can you tell which one had more save (I guess the one that had less goals against. is the one with more saves :-P…….but not really)

I had this player loaned to Xeres, http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/79114 he was returned because he missed official matches. I was never contacted by Xerez manager that he did not wanted to play Brouard, and I think this is an irresponsability from the manager and he should pay the “contract price” I know that there have been some rules set in place that if both the teams agree on the loan termination then everything stays the same. but in this case I was not contacted by any nanager.

Cyrille Brouard has returned from Xerez. He has missed more official matches than allowed by contract.

Can you see the individual stats per players in the match report?

Thats now cool you can actually see how many passes a player did and how many tackles he had in the game?

I was currently hired to manage America-RN I am trying to hire a player Paulo Porto

http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/59325

when I try to place an offer this note comes up. Cannot hire player whose previous club is yours. well i think this is not fair, I had nothing to do with the selling of this players 2 seasons ago, I want to improve my squad and I want to be able to purchase any player in the market. I do not understand why I can not purchase this individual player, if there is a ban it should be for the MANAGER that sold the player of there should be a 1 season Ban but not an indefinite ban for the purchase of a player that played a team I manage but was sold 2 seasons ago by a different mananger

I agree, there are other more important features to be added (or enhanced) than this. but think about it. what about when there is a “free transfer” player does he wait unitl the “transfer window”

Vasco’s Jorge Quadros was injured in Série A match between Vasco and Goiás in Season 14, Turn 117, Quadros was badly tackled by Tom Kelly, at the 35th minute, the result of this was Quadros with a Broken Leg and Kelly with a Red Card, Quadros will miss the next 24 Turns of the season (turned into real life, 24/144=16% of the year, which equals to 61 days in real life [2 months]) and Kelly only missed 1 match after being sent off with a red card.

Think about this

Accidents DO happen, and EVERY player can have an injury at any given time, the best example Eduardo da Silva from Arsenal. Eduardo suffered a broken left fibula and also a dislocation of the left ankle this happened on 23 February 2008 he had surgery, and did not recover in 2 months, it took him almost 1 year to play again, his first match was on 16 February 2009 that would be 358 days, in RubySoccer time that would be more like 358/365=98% ….. 141 turns not 24 turns

I think this need to be looked at and make it a little more realistic. breaking a leg is not going to heal in 2 months, it actually takes more like 6 months to a year. specially for Athletes because once the bone heals, there need to be therapy so that the ligaments and muscles can regain form.

This is just a suggestion, I know that the nest enhancements will be for the anniversary and this is what Gabriel said
“I plan 3 great enhancements for our next year: match engine reformulation, world cup with clubs and national teams.”

But, how about more nations?

If there are more teams added to the game, I think it should be ideal if the decision of what nation to include can be based from the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) this is the latest list of the first 25 National Leagues and the points they received. (IN 2008)

  • Nation already in RS

*1. England 1192,0
*2. Italia 1031,0
*3. Argentina 1020,0
*4. España 952,0
*5. Brasil 942,0
*6. Deutschland 922,0
*7. France 847,0
8. México 683,0
*9. Portugal 649,5
10. Ukraina 620,0
11. Türkiye 599,0
12. Greece 597,5
*13. Nederland 573,0
14. Chile 564,5
15. Perú 553,5
16. Colombia 553,0
*17. Russia 549,5
18. Danmark 546,5
19. Belgique 536,5
20. Scotland 527,5
21. România 472,0
*22. Uruguay 466,5
*23. Paraguay 463,0
24. Ecuador 444,0
25. Česká Republika 439,0

As you can see 8 of the first 10 leagues are in Ruby Soccer. I personally think that we need more Nations from America, not just South America but also North and Central America. To even out the competitions, (because as we all know, with only 4 nations in SA Brazil will always be the best.:-\ ) (Even though South America belongs to CONMEBOL and North America belongs to CONCACAF.)

Well, what do you think when you have teams buying players worth +100M, where do you think that money comes from, you could say ….selling players, (I think this is the way to built your Bank) well who are you selling players to? ….other teams….. how did they get the money to pay for your players….?? its just a never ending cycle, and it all comes to the amount of money this game has. you have teams that have A LOT of money and spend it buying Exelent Players, well is this money just moving from team to team.>…. NO …..!!!!!!

Dont say you do not make any money Sly, between season 23-25 you purchased a few good players and spent a HUGE amount of money, Jarbas Menezes 40M, Pedro Carvalho 50M, Steve Eyre 52M, João Fernandes 10M, and this is just to name a few.

I understand that this money might of came in from you selling a couple of even a few Players but the problem with “to much money thing” is that lets face it, there is A LOT of money in this game and the good thing is that it is being used to purchase players. Some people are worried that this becomes a Monopoly (and it look like if we are heading that way) I know that in real life only a selected amount of teams have lots of $$ to spend, and they do Empty they pockets every now and then to Get a player they want (for example Real Mardrid). But they this was just a suggestion to balance out the economy.

not just the Extra experience points but also the Financial aspect.

The First 5 Turns Sporting de Gijón had 10 HOME games, with a total attendance of 38575 when the #1 team in RubySoccer Hertha BSC Berlin had to wait until Turn 23 to reach that amount of Attendance:

Sporting de Gijón was not just getting extra XP points they were also getting extra $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Here is just a suggestion, Everyone is thinling how to make the game fome efficient as far as the economy goes, well how about travel cost, this can be applaied to friendlies only or to any other competition. This will be a perfect way for Teams to spend some of their cash. If a Team want to play fiendlies (and improve their Youth/Reserves) they have to pay a fee. (travel). Just like in real life, if a team from America wants to play a friendly with a team from Europe the American team needs to buy flight tickets and travel. I think this could be a perfect way to START balancing out clubs it might not be fair to teams that have less $$ since out of every official match you play at least 2 fiendlies and this would be super expensive, but again this can obly be a start

Remember the Incident with PSG and Monaco this is what I am talking about. this is Unethical remember what happened in Italy a few years ago, this is in the same ball park, I see no difference between buying a Referee and Buying the other team.

in (RS) Brazil’s case there was an amount 7.5M, in France (Monaco 21 X 0 PSG) we do not know if there was an agreement between the 2 coaches (wich I personaly think that it did happen.) if everyone actualy stops and thinks about what happened, line in my previos comment about this related incident in France just think what will happen in the furute.

The Current problem with giving cash for achievements, such as wining cups or being # 1 after the season is that very few clubs will just get richer, and most of the clubs will just fall under more misery, for example here are the latest winners in the last 5 seasons for every country:

England:
Arsenal X 1
Sunderland X 1
Blackpool X 1
Scunthorpe United X 2

Fance:
Brest X 3
Monaco X 1
Paris-SG X 1

Germany:
Hertha BSC Berlin X 5

Italy:
Juventus X 1
Genoa X 1
Napoli X 3

Netherlands:
Groningen X 1
NAC X 2
Roosendaal X 2

Portugal:
Benfica X 4
Belenenses X 1

Spain:
Recreativo Huelva X 2
Getafe X 2
Atletico Madrid X 1

Argentina:
Boca Juniors X 4
Almte. Brown X 1

Brazil:
Santo André X 1
América-RN X 2
Palmeiras X 1
Paraná X 1

Paraguay: (4 seasons)
Olimpia X 1
Fernando de la Mora X 1
Libertad X 2

Uruguay: (4 seasons)
Danubio X 2
Cerro Largo X 2

If you total all the teams that has a chance to win the league in each country there are a total of 200 teams (in 1st divisions) and only 11 teams can be champions that is 11/200X100= 5.5% that means that only 5.5% of all the teams can substantially Make MORE money than the other 94.5 % and in the long run lets say 5 seasons that percentage of teams making money will be even less for example: with the exception of Paraguay and Uruguay (with 4 seasons) the other countries have 172 teams: 172 teams X 5 seasons = 860, Paraguay and Uruguay have 28 teams with 4 seasons each 28X4=112 that is 860+112=972, we actually only had 30 different league winners 30/972X100=3.08% this means that in 5 seasons only over 3% of teams have had make money from winning titles, I understand that it is important to be recognized when you win something, and money can be the biggest incentive, but I think that something else has to be done first so that this game can be a bit more balanced; and not let if fall in a monotony, with the same champions every season.

Well, Hopefully something gets done,

meanwhile, Because of “match fixing” PSG will have to fight real hard to reach International Competitions next Season, they will have to fight, for example they are in 6th place with 52 points, my team is in 9th place with 48 points, between us two are Rennes and Bordeaux who are really good teams, and have great chances to get a better place.

Here is the issue with the lineup for friendlies.

in the last 5 friendlies
PSG has lined up:

With 5 matches:

Dorian Demay
Emeric Colas
Geraldo Franco
Hakan Chesnel
Jean-Marie Geslin
Kamel Moine
Lambert Gueret
Nabil Lechat
Oscar Rémy
Pape Oger
Vanderlei Lins
Dorian Brule

With 4 matches:

Domenico Lo Sacco

With 1 match:

Daniele Vecchiarelli

as you can see PSG HAS a lineup specialy for friendlies.

And I do not think it was a mistake that non-senior players played an official match and i think this was done in Purpose.

You are right Vaughn; it is beneficial for some (just a few) of the Managers in France, but I think it unfavorable for the rest of the players in the entire GAME because don’t you think about what this can do to the game Ethics? I think that a victory with this big of a margin has something to do with a “Set Up” you are talking about a lineup of young players that have no more than 3 official matches and compared to the other players of PSG (The Regular Senior Squad) their Skills are WAY LOWER!!!

This 21-0 Victory simply opens a HUGE can of worms, and I think that the Game Masters and Administrators should feel upset about it.

It also gets you thinking if this Happened; just imagine what had already happened? Or even worst, what can happen in the future?

Remember, I am talking about Game Ethic

I just hope that more people can think this same way, and take this serious

In real life you do see Manchester United play league matches with Bench or Youth players when they have a huge competition coming up (such as Champions League Match) but you never see them loose 0-21, not even 0-5, therefore I think that there was something done behind the scenes to the line-up so that Monaco can have a HUGE advantage; not just in player Skills but also in field positioning.

I am the Manager of Niort currently fighting for a qualifying position for the UEFA, and I do not think its fair.

I guess that you can play your team as you please. but I do not think its fair for the rest of us that are fighting to become great teams and lets face it we all want to have a spot in International Competition.

I think this is what the GAME MASTERS should be monitoring, and ask themselves if this is “CHEATING

This is the problem Gabriel,

you said “I’ll talk to my co-workers, check if they know something.” I personally so not doubt our integrity, but I do question the integrity of other players. I think that there should be an improvement to the transfer system, I think that there should be more information about the transfers that happen, (this could be solved by a Newspaper, or even a “transfer” page where everyone can see ALL the transfers that are happening EVERYWHERE this way nobody will doubt about other players.
