Try it. It’s great …
But friendlies are not desired anymore.
Friendlies should improve players …
Plays worse on international cups
Found this negative trait on one of my youth players. That exists if he forgets to put his underwear before playing a big club. But
that is unreal for playing a swiss team in the Euro-League …
ok. Relax it … Maybe for loan on the first contract with the other team. But exclude this rule for players that already have renewed a contract or switched clubs …
What the the heck is this? There is a player on the market who did already play for me. Now, 10 years later, he appears to be interesting to me. Trying to enter the negotiation:
Cannot hire player whose previous club is yours.
Damn it. Practical examples:
Götze, Sahin, Kagawa at BvB, Nilmar (Alex, Ceara, …) at Inter. and so on …
This is crazy.

Great. Very useful indeed.

I do not believe anymore in benefits playing official matches. The friendlies have been killed long time ago. It depends on a piece of unknown rules that are defined within the player’s profile. And that in general defines that the players decrease their abilities before coming close to the numbers in the coach reports.
I do not have any scouts, because I do not rely on the randomness involved in these kind of stuff. You are combining the randomness of scout reports with the randomness in the coach reports.
==> no correlation
==> forget all this stuff
==> we need a new model
I have reviewed several national team squads: Looks like football master to me. 70% of the players are 30+ … We are copying real football?
DrG
Blza.
Are there young players, let’s say with an age of 19 or 20, that are already in national squads? That happens in reality …
I agree with you. Nobody will wait for a youth player with full skills close to retirement. The young player stuff needs a work-around.
Just a guess: Friendlies do not count anymore …
As I learnt, the players will not improve anymore when playing matches.
Goto Players, click the name and there will appear the player’s particularities. Have a look at the right upper side of the page. There is a coach report link. Click onto it and go ahead … Maybe you will need the coaching ability activated via the Investments.
I had to travel a lot during the last 2 weeks with little access to the game. But I am aware that happened the season ticks defining things for a new season. However, I can not agree with the morale issue. Why do players carry the bad, critical, etc morale into the new season? It doesn’t make sense to me considering that there is (in real life) a pre-season with training, friendlies, etc … to define the starting line-up …
I do not considering it as a bug, but it is definitely not real … I suggest that all the players should start a new season with status neutral or better …
DrG
The board always believes that the team can perform better than in the previous season. The only exception is a financial mismatch. That is real football.
Comparing with the 1st trial phase, the 2nd trial is much better … However, I am very happy with the morale situation for the younger players which are lowering morale still too fast.
Participating in 20 % of official match should not bring down the morale of young players. As I remember, they are being punished in on the road matches because they are young …
Young players should not be affected by the morale issue in the same way. They are happy with the contract and will wait patiently for any opportunity in the line-up. Another issue is the pace of reducing the morale to bad. Injuries, suspensions, overall team success should be included. Although, participating in friendlies should lower the pace of decreasing morale, but friendlies are not welcome anymore in this game.
I agree with sniff. It is too hard. The morale scheme was introduced few ticks ago and took over like a hurricane.
I know that the Sunderland guy is very aggressive, but some years ago, he posted a very nice suggestion: tits in the newspaper …
I like the idea …
Well, taking it as a player: training is training and match is match. For me, it doesn’t make sense at all that only training sessions (that we can not drive into any directions because there are no directed training sessions) improve more than playing a friendly against a decent opponent. Stop that only training shit.
Internacional, world champion of 2006
Mano Menezes built his career on a huge desaster. The stupid Nautico players have not been able to score (including a penalty kick) against only 7 players of the ******** team of Grêmio in a decisive 2nd division match. You want this guy to coach your national team? Don’t forget Holland for the World Cup …
I am planing to define my transfer budget to zero at the beginning of the season. Will the
team performance be impacted by a zero transfer budget? Doesn’t make sense to me …
I think that punishing teams filing in younger players should be reviewed. My proposal: Young players gain experience when playing important matches. If the number of matches of a young player exceeds some limit (may be a hidden attribute), he should be considered sufficiently experienced not creating a penalty for the team.
OK. You deleted my posts in the other forum. I accept it. However, I believe that the recent modifications in the game engine did not contribute to a positive development of rubysoccer. Have a look at recent matches and their outcomes … I only cite Karlsruher SC – Hoffenheim 9-0 in medium ticker … There are several outcomes of matche in other divisions … This is not real and I believe that the recent changes in the game engine were not tested before publishing.
I am participating in rubysoccer for a long time. I enjoyed the game and I also accept that the rubysoccer is still “beta” … Several modification for improving it have been posted and I agree with most of them. But the adopted changes to the game engine should have been tested before in some “gamma” or “omega” version.
My point is: Please do some tests elsewhere with the game engine before publishing it.
Sorry for posting some messages to the other list …

In managersim, the staff markets were crowded by a huge number of awful coaches, scouts, and physios. It was hard to get good coaches. Therefore, I like the idea of improving the departments by own investments. It might also be interesting to use the experience of one or the other player who is retiring as a scout, coach for keeping, or other, observer of opponents, or auxiliary coaches …
