What I believe happened is that he hired some not so good players from free transfer and developed them with a very good coaching department, not that he spotted good players. I believe that because if the players were already good when they were hired they wouldn’t accept such low wages. Anyway, we’ll do what we can to make sure no cheating is going on. Soon we’ll have more automated tools to help us with admin stuff.

I know who you’re talking about Danilo, but I don’t think he’s a cheater. In my opinion he’s just applying his own strategy to build the squad, and it’s working so far. Thanks for bringing it up anyway, we must keep our eyes open ;)

We haven’t changed anything yet. Analyzing the last 18000 FastTicker matches we found out that home teams won around 8000 times, which doesn’t seem too much. We can still change that for next season and give it a try.

We can reduce that next season and see how it goes. Our initial idea was to make the advantage vary according to the attendance, but it could unbalance things even more. I haven’t realized there was such a big difference between home and away matches :)

This is not a bug but a matter of changing the words. Stay in position for individual tactics really means play position, in your case it is “act as a +1 defender”, which go forward more often than a 0 defender for instance. Maybe we should change the sentence to make it clearer :)

Just to let everybody know that I found out what is going on. On the rule Alban posted there is an important detail missing: the board will deduct from your money the value of any open transfer proposals you have, so for instance if I have 8,000,000 and an open proposal of 2,000,000, the board will consider I have 6,000,000 for stadium or departments expansion, and that’s the value they’ll use to check if my financial situation is enough to do the expansion.
This topic was good, now we have one more subject clarified (this needs to go to game help).

Maybe the amount of required matches could be related to the wage percentage. For instance, if I loan your player paying 100% of the wage I’m not required to use him, but if I pay 50% I must play him at least in half the matches. The numbers don’t need to be these, just giving an idea :)

Player positions on match report now reflect the teams starting line-up. There was some misunderstanding when the formation and players position displayed didn’t match due to individual tactics or strategies. For example, before this change, if a team’s formation was 4-4-2 but at the 45th minute there was a strategy to move a defender to the attack the players position in the match report would make you think the formation used was 3-4-3.

You got it right amacb, if you set it to rare your players tend to dribble instead of passing, but it affect all your players, not only midfielders. Wingers (any player on most left or most right positions) have passing frequency set one level below your team, in other words if you set your passing frequency to normal your wingers setting will be rare.
The way I see things, rare passing frequency should be more effective if your players have good dribbling skills or your opponents have poor tackling skills. In the other hand frequent passing could make you reach the opponent goal quicker but there is always a risk your passes are intercepted.

I’ll add this bug to our list…it happens either when the player leaves without manager action or when the manager releases the player. We’ll see :)

I would think it’s not available only if the player was released to free transfer before player history was added to the game. If that’s not the case please let us know so we can fix it.

Improvements and fixes:
- long passes and shots are now less accurate
- reduced even more maximum distance for headers towards the goal
- fixed bug on substitution of injured players when some individual tactics were applied
We were not planning to change that, it would require some important design changes…is it worth? :-)
Now serious, if the season/turn system bothers you or other users we can certainly consider changing that, but it will require a good amount of programming time.
